Great looking and sounding S-76. I have a collection of Hallicrafters I inherited that I need to restore. My S-76 looks like your second one you showed, knob wise.
Definitely not Hallicrafters finest moment. I love the look of the meter but the performance is significantly poorer than just about any other model I have (I have a dozen including this). The radio in the video isn't "pristine"...it's had the knobs modified / changed for example.
