I have zero info to confirm this at all but i can imagine that it would be helpful for Apache pilots to have knowledge of the other parts of combined arms operations. If your job is to support and hunt tanks I imagine it would be helpful to be able to think like a tanker and know what tech they have at their disposal. Just a wild guess.

You could have trained and equipped multiple Ukrainian brigades with american equipment. What's the point of having the biggest military industrial complex, spending 3 times what other NATO countries spend on defense, and then fielding in Ukraine less equipment than what 28 fragmented, confused and underpaid european militaries did? Even Poland and France are training and equipping brigades before the US does. This shit's straight up embarassing
