Still glad the range/Duluth is still a big EMD holdout. I see/hear more EMD's that GE's, for now, but I'm sure that will change eventually. Glad you caught this right before the PTC switchover too, think 2017 was the last year. Always fun to see other people shooting trains on my home turf!
Great shots! I miss the EMD power on Iron Range - they switched to GEs on ore traffic there in 2018, but I'm glad they're still out there on Missabe. I just missed the old diamonds and the last few searchlights on Missabe, so those were cool to see. Is it bad that I could recognize quite a few of these engines by the sound of the horn?
