I will never forget when this happened. I cried along with Susan Smith and prayed her boys would be found only to find that she killed them. I hope what she did haunts her every single day. No parole. No mercy. No way.
I remember it well also. Such a crazy story. I can't imagine anything worse than to kill your children and think that you deserve to live.😢

My oldest son was 5 months old and I KNEW she was a liar and a murderer....Absolutely horrifying watching that fake crying, KNOWING she did that! We stand for THEM!💙🕊️💙
I don't mean to brag, but my wife and I watched her speaking that day. I told my wife, "She's lying." She was 'crying', but there were no tears. I'm sure most people noticed it, too.

I was shocked when she took the life of those two beautiful boys. My oldest son was three years old. So sad for the family of the victims.
Hopefully her parole is denied. She has the deed in jail with guards, she is not sorry for what she did to those sons. Life without parole should have been the sentence anyway.
Prison, yes but 3 meals a day, heat and AC, television and reading materials, friendship, laughter, joy, continuing education and the list of freedoms - all of which her sons were robbed of - go on and on. No mercy, let her live her days out quietly in prison and spare the world news coverage about her ad nauseam

I live in Union South Carolina and she should never get out. What she did to those babies is awful. Watching the reenactment of the car going under the water was heartbreaking. Those boys would have been so scared. Killing her boys because she wanted a life with some man . Susan Smith should never be released!

I remember being eight and then talking about literally giving her the death penalty. I can't believe she's actually up for parole.

You can tell in that interview she did it and that she was lying. She was trying so hard not to smile; she was just so thrilled to be the center of attention and have all those cameras on her. I do not understand how you can murder, two people and ever see the light of day again outside of a jail.
