They say that people often don't realise when they've seen a ghost, as everything appears to be so 'normal' apart from possibly old-fashioned clothing etc. Take, for example, those vintage cars that passed you on a small country road that may not have changed for a century or more...😯 Another great tour and some interesting tales from a quiet, unspoilt part of the county. Thanks Sean! (subscribed)

Thanks Trevor, Yes I have great memories of filming this on such a beautiful day in early autumn. This has to be my favourite . Speaking of ghosts, watch my recent video "Did I record a Ghost?" I don`t really believe in ghosts but I have no explanation for the recording.

Fascinating! An inspiration to me lay on Holywell Wood, near Somersby. There, beneath briars, is a rock, inscribed by Tennyson withe the words Byron is dead! Those woods have a tale to tell too!

Another fantastic video, Sean. You never fail to disappoint! It made a nice change that the duration of this one went on for so long, as you have a very captivating way of telling stories, always leaving the viewer wanting more.
RE the reference to Glenn as Goul(?), I think it's Orsen Welles, as I seem to remember watching a bonus feature on a DVD back when I was younger and he had reenacted this tale that he'd heard many years ago from someone he knew.

Absolutely loved this one Sean, there’s a loop I walk with my dogs, it takes me from Louth to Tathwell, Maidenwell, Farforth, Ruckland and Burwell and back into Louth (approx 15 miles)... I pass St. Peter’s church and the neighbouring house and never knew about the history. We (the dogs and I) always stop at Ruckland church for a drink and bite to eat, we sit on that bench in front of the church, again I didn’t know about it’s history. It was my plan to document this walk on this lot of time off, but the fields are just so muddy at the mo, hopefully I’ll get to film it in the new year. Thanks for sharing, awesome job again 👌🏻👊🏻
