- This was my first time riding a 500. The amount of power is completely ridiculous. As you can hear, I was hesitant to wring it out. It will easily loop out in 4 gears.
Every dirt bike rider needs to ride one once in their life.
I bought this from second owner just to go through as a fun winter project. It needed very little. I just made it shine more. The attention this thing gets is unreal. It’s almost time to sell. I’m just too old for a bike like this.

Подскажу:правую ручку надо немножко крутить на себя...кроссовые 2тактники они все просыпаются на верхних оборотах...CR250 должно 59лс или около ...а CR500 там ваще потеряться можно лошадок там побольше немного, но просыпаются они раньше...Где-то 5-6 тысяч обороты

Is there any big patches of sand dunes near you.? Put a paddle on the back of it. It's the best time I ever had on my kx 500. Be careful dunes can bite bit me. Pretty good.
I do have Pismo Beach (Oceano Dunes SVRA) within 4 hours. I've been there with other bikes, but not this one. I'm sure it would be incredible, but this bike is too nice. It's never seen sand.
@@michaelxr2460 Seen Dirt sand not going to hurt it. What will hurt. Anyone riding behind you. Don't wad up in the sand. You wouldn't believe the nooks and crannies and places where the sand gets to when you crash. I was poppin sand at the hospital. Not quite but close. Didn't break anything. But I was deep black n Blue from my waist to my ankles on my butt and back legs.3rd gear 80' downhill. Didn't realize how fast was going till I was in the air. Rear tire high. I'm trying to get the front up. Landed front wheel first. On the flat. Same time my feet came off the pegs toes both feet dug in the sand. Bike went another 10' before it crashes. That's how my hamstrings got stretched. like Stretch Armstrong.

I’m near Sacramento and have a 99 KX500, let’s ride before it gets too hot. Do you ever ride at Stonyford or Sand Mountain?

Not Preach in here but in relation to those not too keen on the more gutteral 2strokes like the macos and ktms kx and like all the other older enduro Japanese made more bottom end bikes aside from sounding like it's Running to Rich. Completely Robbing the top end of any power band were it needs to be. Bogging out where it should be having you literally sitting on the gas tank hold on for dear life sake Keeping body weight level threw the throttle. turn the (×) 👈 way ,try your mixer again properly.
or clean your the Jets. it's possible to have a 500s tuned to kill. lots people have 2stroke tuned improperly for multiple reasons robbed of there potential being what you have I felt the need to say so. Incase you didn't know. people have still do have these motors today that truly know there potential. with borekits retoothed these motors can do some really special things most people would ask how. all falls into trail and error.(knowledge & talent) I feel you'd might understand were I'm coming from but based by your 3 finger/wrist language. not talking about him^just his bike lool. in general it's a 500. and confusion thinking otherwise I always found it difficult to tell if such a monster holding together of such a power band of a bike it's hard to tell if it is not in circuit ready condition.but the difference between the two. when you see one running or riding one. it will scare
