Hey Robin, how about choosing an all-time winner in a brand battle in the future? Like the best 2 pomade going head to head at a final or pastes, waxes, fibers or any other hair product. I don't know it can be fun. I personally trust your reviews more than anyone because you don't just say "hey it looks good on my head so... yay, awesome" you actually give insights about other hair types too.

Pacino's Matte is really over-hyped. I bought it because of the hype and regret it. I bought Paul Mitchell Reformer and it wipes the floor with Pacino's. I hate buying twice but I had no choice because no barber shops near me had Pacino's. So I bought Pacino's Matte, Paul Mitchell's Reformer, Clubman Pinaud Matte Putty, and Dove Mens Care + Matte with Medium Hold. Pacino's rates the lowest and I agree that it's great for short hair. I do like the Pacino's smell but Reformer smells really transparent which is a plus because I don't like hair product to over power my cologne. I would suggest Reformer guys. The Clubman is super dense paste...like really hard to scoop up, and for that reason I would suggest that for a really hot day or windy day.
For now, I love the Reformer. My hair is somewhat dense but not too thick, if that makes any sense. It's very manageable. The Dove has some shine like the O'Douds. The Clubman has a good amount of shine even though it is a matte finish. The Pacino's is a dry matte. My hair seems dead with it. Reformer has the perfect amount of shine and hold.
Clubman is hard to wash out. Pacino's is easiest. Dove washes out somewhat easily. Reformer washes out easily too. Still, Reformer, for me, is the clear winner.
    Pacino's - 7/10
    Clubman - 8/10
    Dove - 8.5/10
    Reformer - 9/10

Have finished 2 jars of odouds matte paste and currently halfway thru the third jar. It’s the best matte / clay paste in my opinion. In terms of smell, I think it smells more towards herbal / cedar than citrusy. In terms of application, I think it’s somehow stronger when applied on damp hair then blow dried with hairdryer. It can also be used as pre-styler. Best matte paste ever!

"odouds is so easy to apply" errrr, did i get a bad batch or smth? i find odouds to be the most "tuck and pull" product to apply that i ever had, BY FAR. its almost unusable for me, cuz the dryness feels like fkn glue, making it impossible for me to style the hair after 5 seconds of applying.

I know you did a brand battle with Tresmeé Freeze Hold Hairspray, but it would be interesting to see it against Silvikrin Maximum Hold, I always buy them both, but there is a small price difference and the Ingredients are slightly different and it would be good for me to buy one that I know would be the best because I can't really tell.
Also I bought this Hair Product from my Barber called Gel Spray because they recommended it, but when I got home it was more like a Hairspray and it has Alcohol as it's main ingredient. I can't style with this product because it's just like hairspray but the reason I don't use it as a Finisher Spray is because it's called Gel Spray, so if I use a Pomade like I usually do, can I put this on after? i don't know if Gel and Pomade would mix. It is available on Amazon if you want to look at it.
Thanks if anyone can tell me the difference between my two Hairsprays or if they know how to use Gel Spray.

Something I think is worth a mention is that here in the US, Pacino's is available in Target stores. It's more readily available than Odouds in that regard, but I agree that Odouds is the superior product after trying both. Pacino's is definitely worth a shot though, tons of product in the jar, relatively cheap, and still does well style wise. As always, awesome video Robin!

Interesting... I got a lot of tug and pulling with the Odouds paste. Like pretty unpleasant, which made me stop using it altogether. I have fine hair as well.
