I used to wear Black socks and tried to get the biggest shorts on the team. Had the Huaraches in white/black/orange (team shoes we ordered from Eastbay) & then I got the Air Force Max (black Barkleys with the strap)which happened to come out on my birthday. The Fab 5 wore them the next night and everyone wanted my sneakers.
I remember mostly the togetherness of this team. They could be down, but would scrap back any way they could - offensive rebounds, diving for loose balls, effort plays.
I remember that me, and some friends from college drove from Cincinnati to Minneapolis to see The Final Four, and even though The Bearcats were in it, I'm not going to lie. I wanted to see Michigan's Fab Five.
I was excited to watch this on ESPN+ and they flippin edited out NWA. ...out of the documentary! Just some beat playin in the background now ...whyyyyyyyyy ..this song made this part of the doc..and the irreverence and boldness .... I was so mad I canceled my ESPN+ subscription lol TAKE THAT!!!!
I remember when I got the Nike Air Force Max(Fab 5 Barkleys)the day they came out, which happened to be my birthday. My boy Vince got a pair the next day too. The day after that, the Fab 5 All wear them on ESPN for prime time game. Everybody wanted them after that. The Hate I was getting for having them almost wasn't worth it. I remember they lost in championship, Webber calls timeout, really he should've got called traveling way before that
We have all sinned and fallen short of Gods glory sin is terrible because of sin we are separated from God but gladly here is the good news Jesus Christ came and walked this earth for everyone taught us the perfect way to live and how we should live and he died for our sins because we need a sacrifice to pay the price for our sins since our sins deserve hell if we live in sin but also more good news Jesus rose from the dead three days later we have to leave the sin behind and put it away and live new with Jesus this world is like a vapor it passes away but your eternity is forever and it is up to you what you want to do with it…
Overated on my opinion. Never beat Indiana and what they are really known for is calling a timeout when they didn't have one. Jalen is using his position as well as ESPN to get this bs made
2 championship games in 2 years does not equal overrated. I don't remember seeing Indiana in the Championship games. 🤷♀️ This team was fun to watch as freshman and Sophomores. Making back to back championships was their success.
