Regarding your water pump not priming, remove one of your hoses temporarily from the pump and squirt a good dose of washing up liquid in so that it gets right into the impeller. Then refit the hose and when you turn the engine over, the extra viscosity helps to keep enough vacuum to draw water up from your inlet; the trail of bubbles it leaves out of your exhaust is just a happy bonus!
Hi guys, lovin the content 👍🏽⛵️I might be wrong but it looks like you’ve painted the anode on the prop? I think the anode is supposed to be unpainted and so is the bit of the prop in touches. You can check that there is no resistance between prop and anode using a multimeter and that will tell you if its installed and working correctly. ⛵️😁

And yes a rookie error! 🙄, I lifted out recently and changed them both again, it had still degraded a little so all was ok but have now sanded back for a good connection. Hi both, just found you both and really enjoying watching you. Me and my husband bought our first boat this summer. It came out of the water just before Christmas so have been doing a few little jobs on it. Waiting for our rudder to be replaced as it has a crack. We’re based in Essex, and Charlie, my husband is from the Midlands too 😆. Hoping to start a You Tube channel this spring. Nadia xx

We’ve found the RUclips to be an amazing way to keep a log of all the memories, we watched our first couple of videos last week and it’s amazing how much you forget you did. Aloha Sir! Those are great questions. We will most likely start with sailing the UK and if all goes well and we love it like we think we will then we will carry on! Lots to consider and work out first but we will get there! Would certainly love to visit Hawaii 🤩👍

Hi guys watching your videos with great enthusiasm in in Norwich but my boat is moored in the solent am thinking about sailing up to Ipswich to Moor would you recommend where you are moored
Hi Keith, firstly thank you for watching! Regarding moving to here, absolutely. There are a number of great marinas close by and it’s a great spot for costal hops and river sailing etc. we loved it at Ipswich Haven, however have moved out to the river for quicker access to the river as we do a lot of short / day sails and the lock can add a bit of time getting through each way. However, non tidal mooring and the protection was a lovely thing. We’ve moved to Woolverstone and it’s just beautiful there and really like it so far.
thanks for quick reply yes looked at Woolverton looks a great marina il on a swing mooring in Portsmouth have not yet sailed the sea on my own my last boat was on the broads which got a bit boring so brought a bavaria 30 For more adventure sailing keep the video comings

Hi Karl, it’s starbrite hull cleaner (they do a deck cleaner also which we use)
It’s great stuff and only need a drop in a bucket to go far 👍
