Immortal. This is where Klaus learned the true meaning of that word. Before this was played the first time, he broke one of Marcel's rules and he said he can't be killed because he is immortal. With Cami's, he realised that it's not only about being alive and becoming invincible, it's mainly about living through a person with them carrying your will and beliefs. The attention to detail of this show. Wow!

You know what made her death so much sadder? The song that played, Terrible Love, by The National covered by Birdy, was the same song they played when Klaus first met Cami in the fourth season of TVD (not the cover). But they did the same exact thing with Stefan with the song Never Say Never by the Fray. I think the music they played, was an important part in the emotions I felt while watching these scenes and it just made them that much more special and saddening to me.

I'm sobbing! Oh my god. I find the story line of this show to be a glorified rpg game, which I'm not complaining about, just seems like weak writing sometimes.... but these people make up for it over and over with these scenes. Perfect music and they literally took a character I knew very little about and made her last moments the most tragic and emotional. Her acting is so damn perfect. Siiiiigh

Even though, I'm a major klaroline shipper that scene gave me the feels. I didn't really care for Cami-she seemed like Caroline 2.0-and I'll admit, I skipped every klamille scene but this episode. Which you can't do because the entire episode is about her death. But acting wise, this was Leah's best performance and JoMo nails the really emotional scenes every time. I wasn't a fan of Cami but I didn't want her to die you know

Even though I still do ship Klaroline, I really did like Camille. She was a badass human and usually the humans are the helpless one. She did care for Klaus and Klaus did love her. It broke my heart to see how whenever he finds happiness and finds someone who cares about him they always end up dying or leaving him. He deserves to be happy... its sad to see Cami die :(
