It's unbelievable but this serie helped me overcome depression, I was about to do the same time than Hannah Baker but after her dead I saw how people were affected so I understood that it's really important to live. Now I can see the things I didn't see before.
me too but not because her death affected on the other but because in the end every one continued his life no matter how much they felt terrible for a while Hannah was the only one who dead with this terrible feelings

A dear friend of mine took her own life last month. This song played at her funerals. She was only 15. I miss her.

I wish I could give her a big hug and tell her that everything is okay and help her. I had to stop watching this series last year because I couldn’t handle it, but I’m watching it again, reliving the pain i felt before. I could never imagine the pain she went through and how everyone could’ve been so disgusting towards her. Hannah deserved better. She never would’ve done it if maybe she had someone to help her, and I only wish I could’ve been that friend. Please don’t bully. It can destroy someone.
I have watched this series twice, it just alluring. It taught me some lessons of pain, pleasure, depression and of survival. The story of Hannah,Clay,Justin and Bryce and so on is just unforgettable..Indeed worth watching
This came out when I was in middle school (class of 2021) I most likely would not be here today without this series it’s so deep but it’s so real shows what really happens what people will do to be accepted by people and what popularity does to people I’m sorry Hanna

My older brother loved 13 reasons why he called it the TV show that help people understand everything going on in his life so when he ended his life in 2019 I continued to watch this as it was the only thing that helped me understand why I don't have an older brother anymore

To whoever is reading this I hope and pray whatever you or your loved ones are going gets better. The ending was so dissatisfactory, emotional and sad for me .I’m still in emotional shock after a week or so 😭. I wish they could make a couple episodes of them in college so I can get a little bit more closure .

No one deserves to be bullied or drove to the point of suicide there at a point of no answer or emotion that can help that feeling it's a cold darkness that you cant help even if the closest of friends or family can put a stop to. Have compassion for the mental illness it is be someone's rock, shoulder when the signs are showing up. This is heartbreaking

This video is sad asf I even cried watching the episode were her parents found her and I couldn’t stop crying it hurt so much just imagine having to find your kid bleeding with her wrists open in a tub just traumatic🥺

I loved the show, even tho I cried my eyes out. I have had several friends trying to commit suicide, one of them the same way as Hannah. Sometimes I just wished people would understand what their words and actions can do to someone.
HANNAH did not deserve what EVERYBODY did to her.
This scene really shows that even tho she was going through the worst pain a person at her age can go one gave a fuck about it no one couldn't find out that she was suffering so much and the worst part is they were just making it worse first was justin then jesicca and Courtney then Alex and it was bryce who pretty much did the most honestly in my opinion commiting suicide is the worst way to end the pain I think hannah did the right thing it may have destroyed her parents klay and Tony but she understood that things would get worse and worse day by day and she also understood that she couldn't take anymore shit from anyone and was scared and embarrassed to talk to her parents so yea I do believe she did the right thing 💔

Whether Hannah Baker is fictional or not to others , she is living proof the darkness of the outside world is always right at the gates our hearts and souls, attempting to barge in and consume every ounce of light within , trying to devour our essence of life just because it can. It's incredibly easy for that darkness to take a life and arduous for the light to save a life. In my head, Hannah Baker is both dead and alive, and she will forever set my mind as her domain. Some people in the series/novel may blame her for taking her own life, like Marcus in the novel who "Hannah just wanted an excuse to die" but Hannah was a beautiful red rose , a red rose whose petals rotted to black because it was coerced to thrive in darkness that succumbed it. I will always love you Hannah, Always and Forever. To me she wasn't suicidal, her death was homicide. Let this be a message to all people out there, whenever you see that darkness approaching someone, do something with the gift of light and protect the red rose. ❤❤❤

The bullies in school are insecure little creatures who don't know any other way. God is ypur savior and your redeemer, remember: God doesn't make mistakes. Only humans do! This show was truly powerful. I believe this became personal to so many people st so many levels. That’s why it’s ratings were so high. Hurt people hurt other people.
The sad thing is , this sort of thing is still happening nationwide and is not being addressed.
These scenarios are stemmed from real life events. And this show gave us a glimpse of one form of scenario in schools nationwide. God knows we need His hand to come down and help us mend this nation and steer us back unto Him. We need restoration. We need intervention from God and for us to put God at the center of our lives.

If this movie was reality and i went to Hannah's school...this is what i would have done: i would have told hannah that its OK to be sad and help is here then i would comfort her
As soneone whos attempted multiplie time's, and still struggles with su*icdal thoughts, its not easy when you have multitude mental illnesses, and physical issues, and so much trauma that even therapists can't seem to help with, I honestly don't know what to do anymore 😊

I've been molested and I was in the 6th grade it happened again by a 16 year old boy all the kids in my school found out ajd blamed me. I went home crying most days I was gonna kill myself by overdose in my medication I was 13 now I'm 28 and married. Anyone who doesn't understand sexual abuse look it up and what it does to a person.

Honestly this series means so much to me, and I have learned quite alot about life and what life actually is, people can be bad, they can be good, but actually there is no right or wrong, there will always be consequences even when your nice, bryce r*ped her, regreted it, and now he lives with the pain,(spoiler) he obviously died later on in the series but even though he did a horrible disgusting thing, he is still human, still deserves to live, hannah baker explained thing perfectly what she went through, as a person who is fighting depression, even though shes just an actor Hannah's words are so truely powerful. Please hurt someone before you hurt youself, be selfish, and care about youself ❤

I understand what you mean. I went through what she went through. But there was no way I was gonna let everything that happened to me take away my chance to live on and be happy. I still struggle with major mental health issues. But at the end of the day you have to survive. Life isn’t a happy thing for me still I’m only 19. I kinda just think of life as you do what you can ti get by ya know. But it’s still not worth hurting the people I love so deeply like that.
