I like the stretch abov the green bridge on Levee rd. You can park on the side and walk down to the river. From there just follow the trail up or down to avoid the crowd or join them. Fred Meyer is also a good spot, right under the bridge. There’s also a trail to go down river so there’s plenty of access.

It’s the drag lol. One reason I like using the spinning reel. The drag sound makes it even more exciting. 😅

Mono is preferred but I use braid too so idk haha. Bring mono if you have them. Next couple weeks should be even better
