It’s possible that it will be a more grounded street level movie and then Toby and Andrew will show up in a post credit scene setting up secret wars, basically saying something like “we need your help, the Multiverse is falling apart”. I would definitely be down for something like that but to have them in the whole movie would be too much I think.

True, but that's not what Sony wants, apparently. They want Spiderman 4 to be the movie that will bring Tom Holland in their crappy Sony Spiderman universe. And this makes no sense, since they could have just waited for Secret Wars for that to happen. But it's Sony... what would you expect?

SM 4 should be street heroes vs Kingpin & the people he hires.
Chameleon posing as Ant Man & Daredevil doing crimes, Scorpion going after Spider-Man…Hammerhead or Tombstone being mob bosses (maybe as a cool fight scene in the beginning of the movie like how TASM 2 did) all hired by Kingpin. It just makes sense & lets you get natural cameos from people like Ant Man.
I don't think they trust Tom Holland by himself. They feel like he needs extra when he absolutely needs a strong solo movie. I wish he just helped create Miles instead of trying to make avengers level movies all the time
they could also have just given us miles from the start and made the story they put the character through make any sense whatsoever
Tobey and Andrew each should get their own movie first before everyone comes back together
You gotta pace story arcs and with Secret Wars being a place where Spider-man and his variants can possibly shine having a solo movie being more grounded would probably be the right call
What it comes down to in the end is that Sony get nothing from a big team up in Secret Wars. While the idea of a grounded Spider-man movie could potentially mean less box office than what No Way Home made.
I was happy with the last leak of king pin and Ant-Man being in the next spiderman movie. Save Tobey and Andrew for secret wars.

That’s what I think they should do too. Another Idea I had that they should to tie everything together is to have both Andrew and Tobey watching Tom’s Peter from another dimension. This conversation of him potentially being ready to fight a Multiversal threat could happen with the animated version of spider man 2099 Miguel O’Hara on finding Miles and polkadot man than stopping them both from destroying the multiverse . Tobey and Andrew can also tell Miguel that there’s bigger things they need to worry about because they need to stop kang from multiplying and destroying the multiverse too.

Im all for tobey n andrew coming back more than once. But its gotta be well written and serve a bigger story, not iust for sony to sell merch and such.
Kingpin is in Spider-Man 4 but Kraven will play a bigger role. Sinister Six is coming. Andrew and Tobey will be saved for the post credit scenes along with Venoms symbiote saving Tom Holland for Secret Wars

Don’t get me wrong, I love the original trilogy, the amazing spider man films and the Tom holland trilogy. I just think every Tom holland spiderman film has always had him with another hero, we’ve never gotten a straight up Tom holland spiderman. It’ll be cool to see them all together but let’s see what actually happens I’m excited for bullseye in daredevil and maybe a spiderman daredevil brief crossover in the future. great video man

As long as the multiverse aspects aren't too much of a focus point it could be incorporated well.
I like the idea of the many Spiderman coming back... And the chance to see those characters do their thing... But it should be handled with care and service to both the micro and macro story. We last saw Tom H Spiderman starting from scratch. I'd like to see that develop and marinate for a while, not rush into world destroying light beams into the sky.

We want a Tom-only movie with a lot of good drama. The strong story. Bloody and serious. Because that's what Tom deserves. Because he loves Spider-Man the same way we do. He also represents the character better than others
Spider-Man is a street level hero who has enoigh flexibility to work in larger contexts within team settings. The multiverse only works when it is used sparingly, ESPECIALLY for Spider-Man. By all means, bring Toby and Andrew back, but keep it to the big team up movies, and let Peter's solo movies just be him doing his normal Spider-Man thing. The only reason that stories like that are a big deal is because of how RARE they are supposed to be because of Spider-Man primarily being a street level hero. If Spider-Man being grounded isn't the norm, you lose what makes him special. It's part of the reason why the last 2 Avengers films kind of undermined the weight of Peter's lesson in Homecoming and why they basically had to give him a slight variation of the exact same character arc in FFH. The character wasn't able to have time to marinate in his own natural environment for the Avengers cosmic level escalation to carry any weight.
I’m calling it right now, if Ant man is in it, he’s going to show up to find Spider-Man for a specific reason but when he actually finds him, he’ll casual say “Oo hey Peter, I remember you from the airport” in a joking way and Peter will be confused because nobody else remembers who he is. But it’ll be explained as Antman was in the quantum realm fighting Kang when Dr strange did the spell so it didn’t affect him.
Keep Spider-Man 4 grounded. I’d like to see a TAS 3 with Venom or Andrew in Venom 3. That way he can finally fight an alien.
The appeal to me was finally getting a stand alone Tom Holland spiderman movie. Every movie so far is some other hero teamed up with him. With him losing his friends and other heroes, i thought we would finally get a Spiderman by himself movie.

4:37 i think this makes sense. Because apart from the kangs, the only other important “identities” who can connect with each other easily are the spider people. Like the Captain Americas dont have their own madame web or any of this sorts, it kinda shows how connected the spider people are in a multiversal way. This could be a great way to do The spiderverse in live action (and maybe bringing in the animated spiderverse miles and gwen..etc)

I hope that they keep the next one more grounded and personal. Save Toby and Garfield for Secret Wars. Give Tom space to breathe.
No way Fiege wants this to be multiversal. He has foresight. You need to reestablish the character on his own, you need to make him the most quintessential and classic we’ve seen, and you need to take the story back to character after the last film and last trilogy. You also have to grow it up a bit. This is the only way to go. Everyone knows it. To much of a good thing with the other Spiderman will spoil it and ruin it. Save the for secret wars, give Sony a little cut, finish out this entire trilogy. Introduce miles as a young friend in 5. Have him but at the end of 6. Do a film with Tom and him as Spidermen where he officially passes the torch. Depower Peter somehow so it makes sense he’d actually retire, have him make tech. Then in Miles own movie: Bring all the Spidermen back in if you want to keep going in the multiverse stuff. It’s not rocket science. You have to use that sparingly to keep it fresh. Allow the singular story to inform that over time. In the meantime make the most grounded and character driven Spiderman we’ve ever seen.
Sony is only thinking about the money not the story
having Holland be a "chosen one" is the only way to make the infinity saga be consequential at all after the reboot. The only way the blip is undone is Tony being motivated by bringing Peter back, so the only way for that to matter is for Holland to be the key (or a key) to saving the multiverse

I want it to be Andrew and Toby to interact with all thr MCU characters. I think you can make some pretty badass movies with them.

No way home was great because as a 1 off concept the 3 Spiderman thing worked great but it can only really work once and they are already planning to do it again in secret wars so they need to be careful not to overuse these characters. If they fill Spiderman 4 with extra spidermans and do it badly then the whole 3 Spidermans thing won't work in Secret Wars
I think Spiderman 4 should be street level for most of the movie. Then at the end you bring in the ties to secret wars and deadpool 3. That gives everyone what they want

I honestly just want a grounded Spider-Man 4. There is so much good story between Kingpin and no vigilantes, and we could finally get Scorpion, since we've been waiting for him since Spider-Man: Homecoming. There are two things they could do to incorporate the multiverse, however. The multiversal stuff can either be in a post credit scene, or they do what they did in Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings where half of the movie is grounded, where the other half is multiversal. I would rather a fully grounded movie, but either of these ways are fine as well. As for Tobey and Andrew, they made Spider-Man: No Way Home so special, and it is just fitting for the three Spider-Men to reunite during the next Avengers movies, not Spider-Man 4. Sony just wants to get more money and is being greedy, but their lust for money will ruin the movie, not unlike how Sony's lust for money has ruined their own Venomverse of films.
I could do with post credit with the og spider men that alludes to secret wars but not in the movie.

Daredevil and Kingpin? YES. If possible, bring Punisher as well. Make a really gritty crime thriller Spider-Man movie. Tobey and Andrew? NO. At best, a post-credits scene tied to 'Avengers - Secret Wars', that's it.

Perhaps having nobody know his identities or help him except the other Spideys is how he will stay grounded like Spock Prime in the new STAR TREK movies. Perhaps they could also have the personal interactions between the Spideys and Wolverine be *VASTLY* different, like he respects Tobey, he protects Holland and he tells Garfield to eat 💩😂🤣
I was really looking forward for Tom’s Spider-Man to be on his own but having Tobey and Andrew back for The Fourth Movie I have no problem with that but Sony should focus on Tobey and Andrew’s movies before they make them reunite with Tom

Yup wait, unless there’s a post credit they’re in or something like that but we need Tom Holland to get some Spider-Man in New York doing Spider-Man stuff movies now he’s fully Spider-MAN. Needs a trilogy + doing that stuff. He should be the face of the mcu at this point. Love Tobey and Andrew but there needs to be a bigger storyline purpose for them to show up. Story is what’s important more than anything else.
