hi would u like to listen to my approach as to how the multiverse saga shls hv unfolded? I think marvel shld establish 4 major pillars- Avengers, FF, X men and spiderman and then all the other characters kinda revolve around these. i personally believe that when we speak of the MCU now we specifically mean Earth - 1999999. I think that universe is a bit too crowded now. Let the FF be introduced to that universe and take leading role. And then at the same time make audiences invested into 2 other parallel universes in a serious manner. Now here is the catch, one would be spiderman and all the characters that are a part of his entire lore, and the other wld be X- men and all the other characters that are an important part of their lore. No avengers in these universes. U might have some overlap of the minor characters which might be common nd might share variants across these 3 universes. And these 3 universes down the line will in some way collide with each other(metaphorically or even literally). or lets say will become aware of each others existence and will realise that their collective fates are intertwined with each other.
now I just have one question, can Sony use Miles Morales as a character and his version of spiderman as of now currently? Since u mentioned above that if they have currently liscenced the rights of Spiderman to marvel so they themselves cannot use it. Hope u find this comment interesting wld love to hear your feedback.
That didn’t mean they’d never be able to get into the MCU, that spell was also to stop a mass amount of people and villains that know Peter Parker from different universes from coming in all at once. You just misunderstood, the spell didn’t completely cut the MCU off from the multiverse.
Aight, now hear me out. While I 110% agree that Spider-Man 4 should be a street level movie, with Peter dealing with the events of NWH, settling into college and possibly getting involved with Daredevil and Kingpin with Scorpion hopefully being one of the main villains. If they do the multiverse element right, I think it would be cool for them to try and tie Spider-Man 4 into Beyond The Spider-Verse. Remember, Spider-Gwen is putting a Spider team together with her dimensional watch to go against the Spider-Society, Miguel, The Spot and save Miles. But Miguel also told her what Tom Holland’s earth number was. So imagine if she comes to the MCU asking for Tom Holland’s help, and he says that he knows a couple other Spider-People that could help too, teasing Tobey and Andrew coming in for Beyond The Spider-Verse. It could lead to some funny moments with Peter B. Parker seeing different versions of himself throughout the years, Andrew’s Peter seeing a version of Gwen alive and if Spot does do something to one of Miles’s loved ones, it would be so good to see Tom Holland stop him from wanting to brutalize or murder spot the same way Tobey did for him in NWH. That’s literally the only multiversal element I’ll accept. Any other way probably just wouldn’t work. I feel like everyone benefits if they go this route.
Yeah, I do agree I think everyone would benefit if we went this route. Plus, it would tie in with the credit scene of across the spider verse of Gwen and her spider team leaping into the portal because she does know the Tom Holland earth, so that could be possible.

@@funkysam1345 Possibly. It worked out for Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Plus, Across The Spider-Verse kinda already did this when the MCU’s Prowler interacts with Miles and Andrew Garfield made a cameo and it looked pretty good. They could probably pull something like that off, especially for something called *BEYOND* the Spider-Verse. Either that, or they explain through some “multiversal shenanigans” that somehow Tom, Tobey and Andrew are able to appear in animated form, which would only make things more confusing.
I still think this is the best way to go if Marvel and Sony want to meet in the middle to have both a more grounded story with multiverse elements. Cause one, I don’t want Tobey and Andrew to be shoehorned into Spider-man 4 after having a good send off in NWH for no other reason than just money. And two, no one and I mean no one wants Sony’s trash universe to connect and mess with the MCU. However this is a good way generate more hype for Beyond The Spider-Verse (possibly making a billion in the box office) and a way for everyone to win and get what they want in the end.

@@funkysam1345 I must say, your ideas are very interesting. I like the idea of Spider-Man, The Avengers and the FF being in one universe with the X-men being in a separate one that may collide together to make a new universe where they all exist possibly by the end of Secret Wars or something. And yes, the MCU should be called earth-1999999. As for the question of Miles, Sony pretty much owns the rights to every Spider character, so I’d say they own any version of him. If you don’t mind, I’d also like to talk about stuff I think Marvel should’ve done previously to build up the MCU. I made a lot of changes to Spider-Man FFH, which I think would improve the movie with one of those changes being that Fury and Maria Hill aren’t skrulls, are the real deal and was testing Peter to see if he was ready to step up and handle things like an Avenger so they can recruit him for the new team. This change would also mean changing the Nick Fury end credits scene, and that would be finally knowing who bought Avengers tower, just to find out that it’s the FF introducing them to the MCU for phase 4.
One other thing I’d like to add that I think Marvel should’ve done was adding more to Thanos’s motive. So we know Thanos was a genocidal warlord from Titan, whose objective was to bring stability to the universe by wiping out half of all life at every level, as he believed its massive population would inevitably use up the universe's entire supply of resources and perish. (My addition to his motive) Because of his planet Titan being unstable due to being massively over populated. It attracted the attention of a celestial being who devoured his planet and everyone on it. And even tells Strange that earth is likely to be on its list. He wants to wipe half of all life on earth not only cause Thanos sees overpopulation as a threat but also to try and prevent other planets from being destroyed and devoured by the celestial that devoured his home planet. In FFH Fury would tell Peter that Strange informed him about this celestial that Thanos told him about and wants to put a new team of Avengers together to get earth ready incase it does come for them.
Now if you know who this celestial is. It would be teasing that Galactus is coming soon. The FF movie would introduce Silver Surfer not as a villain, but as a warning to them that he’s coming. And it would lead to a New Avengers movie in phase 5 with the New Avengers teaming up with the FF to stop Galactus. It would keep viewers interested to see what’s coming next, it would introduce the FF earlier than later and it would establish who the New Avengers are (which we still don’t have yet).
Didn't Fisk build a multiverse collider thing in the 1st animation spider verse movie, maybe they're doing something like that.
Still loved when Josh called Kraven the animal rights activist when saying Sony left an amber turd on Kevin Feiges desk when Josh was referring to the Madame Web movie. Would be cool to see Multiversal Daredevils where they each wear different Daredevil outifts and were recruited by Andrew and Tobeys versions of Spider-Man. Also would like Joshs theory of Tom Holland being killed by Kraven the animal rights activist in Spider-Man 4 and the Venom symbiote revives him leading into Venom 3. Miles Morales showing up would be cool too
Kingpin ought to make Ned the Hobgoblin, Miles show up fighting spot from Beyond the Spiderverse, back where into the Spiderverse began.
Hell yeah. Hopefully a comic book accurate Hobgoblin. I was so disappointed that NWH didn't upgrade Green Goblins suit to comic accurate.

I think Tobey and Andrew will appear early in the movie because the multiverse is out of control, and they find that out together, and then they set up secret wars and beyond the spiderverse.
I like the idea of the sinister 6 I think it is the only way to merge a multiverse with a grounded Spiderman story. I love the 90’s cartoon mix of Kingpin and the sinister 6
What about The Shocker, he a street level villains. And deserves chance of comebacks.
Kingpin would hire The shocker and the Enforcers to kill spiderman.

I think you're wrong about Kang. How could they possibly eliminate all those Kang variants from Quantumania post credit scene? Also there have been rumblings about Marvel recasting Kang. He may not be as prominent as once planned,but I believe he will still play a role in Multiverse shenanigans.
I like the idea of Fisk working with a variant Kang and contracting the villains to stop the heroes. I also like the idea of Miguel realizing that Kang is behind the tech and even the issues in the multiverse.
Nonetheless, I think Sony needs to just let Spiderman go. Let Marvel Studios do the movies and Sony can just help produce them; that way they can still make money off of Spiderman..
I think they should just pretend Morbius doesn't exist and that Vulture never even left the 616. I think we have enough Sinister Six members who already exist in the 616, multiverse not needed. Gimme the return of Shocker in full costume, Scorpion using the cut off tentacle of Doc Ock from NWH, Vulture, maybe a brainwashed Ned Hobgoblin using Norman's tech left behind, Prowler, & maybe Mysterio never died. Or Chameleon. Bing bang boom

With the villains/Sinister Six entering the MCU - probably with Mephisto's help (if rumors are true he is involved with the Avenger's building and/or helping Kingpin). As for bringing Tobey and Andrew (even Miles) into the MCU, probably Wong and/or America Chavez (Doctor Strange probably might or might not make an appearance). ???
I wouldn't mind if Spider-Man 4 is a Multiversal/street level movie but I'm more focused on it being street level because the Kingpin is going to be Mayor of New York City which sets up DareDevil Born Again.
Born Again comes out before Spider-Man 4. The show will set up the movie.

Why not they just make a Spider Verse as a stand alone and just make Spider Man 4 as a Street level.
I do agree the cleanest and simpliest way to do this, have both studios having what they want; is simply a Multiversal Sinister 6. No actual big Multiverse narrative. Just Vulture who somehow got punted across universes, coming back with several friends to hunt Spider-man, and finding out they can also get paid for it and any other heroes they take out. No Kang or anything like that; just sorta cleaning house of hanging plot threads. Have MCU Scorpion who was teased at the end of Homecoming, Vulture, Kraven, Maybe Morbius, Maybe ASM2 Rhino, Maybe bring back MCU Shocker and you have your Sinister, or maybe since Kingpin formed make a joke/reference to the 90's show Insidious, Six. Even if they weren't good in their orginal movies; we already seen NWH make Electro actually cool; so I am up for seeing them handled by a competent btw crew. Anything deeper then that can be ether at the end or post credit stuff.
I don't think its really a retread of NWH, its just cleaning up an element of that which somehow shunted Vulture to another universe. And its not really the main plot of the movie; the main plot of the movie is still dealing with Kingpin, just not all his hired guns are from the MCU. And likely no one actually knows this but the audiance, least for the majority of the movie becuase its not important for them to have big neon signs saying that. End of the day, they're all random guys that just want to take down Spider-Man for some reason or other. We were always going to have to deal with the Vulture plotline eventually, and there's no way that wouldn't have been Spider-man s Multiversal dudes.

If I were doing a multiverse Spider-Man movie, I’d have big bad go up against the three Spider-Men maybe Morlun or something. We’d have fun with the idea of going to multiple universes going to the Webb universe as well as the raimi verse and keep it simple with the three Spider-Men taking the focus. Movie can be titled ‘Spider-Men’. The way Sony and marvel are going with Spider-Man 4 sounds ambitious, I’d recommend shooting Spider-Man 4 and 5 back to back to make these ideas work. Surely the people at marvel and Sony can at least entertain the idea.

I know we cant go back and change things but this is why No Way Home shouldve never been a miltiversal movie. The theme has already been done, so doing the same thing AGAIN will feel unoriginal.

I think we are still gonna get some kang played by coleman domingo so that they dont just totally waste and gloss over that storyline and at the same time doom and other threats will be set up for secret wars
There’s obviously something different ab our universe so…
Maybe kang wants to destroy Loki’s multiverse. So he’s the reason a part of venom was left behind. Because he wants to make spidey bad so he can’t help defeat him in the future, but with no oscorp he had to create spiderman first so made sure the spider existed even though oscorp didn’t. Maybe Loki’s move is to then rewrite it so oscorp now is in mcu and now the spider bites miles so there is another spiderman to help bring Peter back.
Then Kang from quantum realm or via symbiote is a voice in kingpins head helping him to understand multiverse to bring in more villains from Sony verse following an initial loss to spiderman via tombstone and hammerhead, to tie universe together to begin an incursion, while Fisk gets to use them to take down spiderman which is where daredevil gets involved (and antman knowing the kang situation)
Then end of movie either Peter go into the multiverse while miles stays (beyond the spider verse?? Or miles goes too and ends up in spiderman 4?) so are ahead of the game for secret wars and how Peter is so important and leads avengers.
So subtle hints of multiverse but not all revealed in its entirety but mostly a street level movie until the end where spidey goes off like Thor in age of ultron

I really prefer the Ant-Man and Kang story compared to Sony forcing their stuff into the MCU
If they end up doing this I would love to see the civil war comic panel of punisher carrying Spiderman. Could totally see this happening if spidey gets beat up by the sinister six.

I guess it might could work... as a two acts in one film kind of thing. First Act is a street level thing leading up to the reveal of Kingpin and the 2nd act being the Kingpin hires villains that are from the Multiverse to hunt down Spider-man. IDK... Honestly... expectations are really low that Marvel or Sony are going to do anything to impress me... but I guess that just leaves me being opened to be surprised because its not like I'm going to quit watching super hero films/shows
I've recently been looking up history of Horsemen of Apocalypse and there were a couple iterations of Spider-Man that would be cool to see either in the Deadpool film or in Secret Wars. Either that... or if for the cost of putting Tom Holland Spider-man in the film they could always put the Man-Spider in there. Still hoping to see a Hugh Jackman Wolverine and Spider-man in the same film
Those grounded elements are going to be needed so it doesn't feel like a No Way Home remake. BUT...I definitely need to see some kind of multiverse implications. There hasn't been enough in the last several projects, which makes no sense.
The easiest thing to do is have Scott tell Peter more about the multiverse and at the end of the movie have the symbiote attach to Peter. That way you can still have the movie be street level with a few nods to the multiverse.
If theres a Venom 4 ..venom vs spiderman it would be hilarious if Venom went around acting like a crazy mother who lost her child and Spiderman is the kidnapper. And the whole time Peter keeps telling Venom he doesnt want it but the symbiote suit keeps making Pete run evading Venom
Well the Kingpin from Into the Spiderverse did do multiversal sheananigans if we're using the animated multiverse.
It would be cool to see the sinister 6 lead by Fisk to collected from different Multiverses to take on ant man, 3 spider man, daredevil, and maybe mz Marvel added in to give it some dimension, with wild cards like venom, Miguel, or punisher, to make the movie even better

In all honesty, this is what I want. I want them to introduce the Gwen, Stacy, and Harry Osborn of that universe being Tom Holland to universe or 616 will say there’s a version of Gwen Stacy that gets killed by carnage instead of the green goblin as stated in beyond the spider verse or whatever it’s called in every universe that wants to see it’s not spider Gwen she dies falling for Spider-Man so if we explore that concepts in this movie and possibly the one after it with Spider-Man given, he let MJ walk out of his life, not knowing who he is he could’ve explained what happened at the end of the movie, but he didn’t because he knew he was safe. She was safer, same with Ned so have him become black, Spider-Man, and speaking of that introduced miles Morales as well
Maybe towards the end of the movie, but have the focus of the movie be Tom Holland, Spider-Man, and characters like Jessica Jones, the punisher Kate bishop people that are also enemies with king pen I don’t know I’m not a story writer, but I really hate the idea of this being a multi first film guardians of the galaxy was not a multi-verse movie And it was so good the volume three I’m talking about. It was so good. Honestly, I think kang is trash and while we are on the topical multi-verse, maybe they should kill king off and all is variance and have Dr. doom in scarlet witch take over the remaining universes after battle world 🌎 and have some characters or merman that have knowledge of the previous cycle of the multi-verse Death and re-creation is the foundation of Phoenix force and chaos magic

I'm not going to lie, what you said at the end is not that bad, especially with the fact that Spider-Man 4 was supposed to lead to Avengers 5 anyways. I would still rather a completely grounded story, but as long as there are just hints of multiversal elements and a multiversal post-credit scene, I will be fine. The only thing is that I would like a better way for multiversal villains to come into the MCU other than them just randomly being dumped there because that is simply lazy writing.

Kang and Miguel are not villains though, they're in a no win situation making impossible decisions. They intervene and kill trillions to save entire universes. They are undoubtedly *an* enemy but they're not villains. Even now Loki is managing the timelines, unless he has become a proper deity in Marvel he's going to run out of capacity to handle this at some point just like the TVA did. Loki saved a nearly infinite amount of lives but only temporarily.
I hope they can figure it out without taking away from No Way Home because that was just so well done i don't want them to render it meaningless. I do like the connection to the spiderverse though and i actually would like the venom stuff. I just hope they can do this right. We also still need the 90s spider-man to make a appearance somewhere.

Marvel needs to Bring Johnathan majors back and finish what they started it’s the only way. They have no other villains to bring in that makes sense and they were going to get backlash anyway if they do recast plus the movies will still make money if you bring him back

Sonys logic makes no sense. If they really wanted to make money off other Spider-Man variants or multiverse stuff they’d just make TASM 3 and Raimi’s SM4. Those movies have the potential to make a billion each, or at least 500 million each.

Exactly, the concept was dope but they shot themselves in the foot by using those characters for absolute nostalgic purposes only. Nothing future related came out of that film to lay the groundwork for this movie.
