Then she dies of a weed overdose, as many people in America do. It was very sad. Then Joe Russo shows up in the film and he becomes the new protagonist, Gay Joe Russo

I enjoyed it quite a bit. And the score was awesome throughout.

Yeah. I think this movie should have got an Oscar and a Golden Globe. Also, The Directors of this film are Anthony and Joe Russo, who also made Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, the last 3 of which also have Cherry's lead star, Tom Holland, as Spider-Man.
The movie is heartbreaking. It was just beautiful and breathtaking. The story was told so well by Tom and Ciara. Yes it was rough but it shows u the reality of being a drug addict. Ir was better than I thought. It was an emotional rollercoaster. I reccomend everyone to watch it. Just check the trigger warnings before.

Amazing movie. Amazingly strong acting, Tom and Ciara were outstanding in this! Everytime this music came on I'd get goosebumps. And I have them even now. Tom Hollands acting was unlike anything I'd ever seen before, we're used to the carefree wannabe superhero spiderman, but this is just him on a brand new level, so many times I felt like crying for his characters and for Ciaras character. Two young lovers who lose their way but through it all even on the darkest of days stay together no matter what. They're both broken, but want to fix each other and their love never ceases even when causing unintentional harm to each other. I won't say anything more for those who haven't seen it yet but I 100% recommend seeing it! Beautiful movie. Well done Tom, Ciara, Russo brothers and everyone who worked to create it!

The last scene of Cherry is similar to the last scene of The Last Samurai..Co-incidently, both the actor's names are TOM and at the end of both movies, both "found some small measure that we all seek and few of us ever find".
I swear to God, this movie made me cry like i was a little kid.. Am a filmmaker and I understand how amazing the story is puted.. So well Tom Haland and Ciera acring.. All the pain and hapoiness You can see on Holand Face at the final scene alongside the iconic music(the next Interstellar music).. Well act, well directing and cinematic image.. How love can transcendnce above pain and hold to itself in dark patterns of life... And the idea of his wife waited for him two years then 14 years, was so so killing me inside... Please give this movie an oscar

Watching this movie was painful. You could live through these traumatic moments of cherry without being able to stop the situation from getting worse. I cried a lot because Tom managed to find a connection to the viewer so that they could feel and understand the emotions. I was truly moved by it.

I participated in many battles and I lost many friends. My unit numbered 150 soldiers with 10 officers, only 37 left. Someone from my unit.... When I sleep every day I remember the battles and I remember my friends. It's very difficult....Sometimes I get very nervous because of something simple. I saw the movie and it really affected me that it's a beautiful movie...

This was the line that grabbed my attention and kept me hooked all the way to the end.
I loved the film. It was heart-breaking yes but the way Tom and Ciara told it was phenomenal and genuine.
The music in the film throughout, especially this track is amazing. I have never loved and cried at a film so much before Cherry.
Highly recommend it, just be wary of the trigger warnings.

It’s a good movie but don’t expect too much. The 2nd half is not as good as the 1st. It’s a very long movie.
It’s a fantastic movie. 2nd half drags a little but it truly shows the extent PTSD sufferers go through. Highly recommend.

It goes so well for this movie. Tom and Ciara did amazing. One of the best films I’ve ever seen. It was a roller coaster. Although it’s dark it’s a beautiful movie with a much deeper meaning.

I started crying while I was listening to this.
There was a guy i used to date. We met each other in college. We had a class together and we fell for each other fairly quick. We were so hooked on each other that we skipped class just so we could have alone time. But I decided to break up with him 6 months later because our relationship wasn't moving forward. It was hard for us both but eventually we got past it. During the summer, we ended up talking as friends and then he broke the news to me that he was going to join the army and drop out of college. I was immensely shocked but he seemed happy so i was happy for him. Eventually, we began to rekindle our interest for each other. He will be coming to visit me in just 2 days. But after that, he will be heading to Japan for 3 years. I don't know what I'm going to do when he's here but whatever will be, will be.
Don't get confused Ma'am. Ask yourself, what do you want? If you want to spend the rest of your life with him, then go and hold his hand, no matter wherever life takes both of you. But if you don't want to, then move on. Believe me, life is very tough to live. Smaller happiness matters the most!

I struggle from drug addiction and this movie , the tracks, music really hit me hard... I wish we all love each other and care for each other..
gosh this movie was touching
The first half of the movie is just great, amazing shots, cinematography and overall style. I think it should have ended after 2 hrs. The 2nd half is exhausting to watch, too stretched if you ask me. Many scenes were unpleasant to watch. The ending was very good though, which is important. Movie finished with a great epilogue underlined by this amazing soundtrack. I was surprised to see the actual skill of the Russo Brothers aswell as Tom Holland’s superb acting. Well done!

@@GHOSTFVCED I find the scenes where they were injecting heroin unpleasant to watch. They were too many of them for my taste... I think they could have cut 20 minutes, but still there were great scenes in the 2nd half aswell.
@@SinclaRx3 i see where you’re coming from but I think the film is there to show the true nature of heroin addiction meaning tens of shots shown. I think they’ve done a great job showing how life dependant they become the more drugs they take. I may be foolish or just plain wrong but this is the best film I’ve ever seen and honestly don’t mind that it’s long, I’m fact I like it! But I do understand where you’re coming from

I get that u couldnt watch the other half if it. But i mean they said it was R rated and had a lot of trigger warnings. So it would have been better if u checked the TW before watching :)

I don’t understand why people don’t like this film I defy you to tell exactly what’s wrong with this film
They think it's too life like, people only like the fictional aspect part. The movie is based on a true story- from an autobiography, the ending is the only part i think might be false, as when he wrote the book he was still in prison.
You know now that you say that I think that’s also the reason people didn’t like joker. They made him real it was an actual drama
