Today, I'm going to show you how to draw Invader Zim in this really easy, step by step tutorial!
This tutorial isn't simply a "tutorial" as I would normally do, though. This video is more an analysis of Invader Zim's design, and also some musing about the design of the world that the Invader Zim cartoon takes place within. Invader Zim is a truly uniquely ugly TV show, and that's one of the reasons that it is truly so memorable. Sometimes, a grizzly, unappealing design can make something special, and Invader Zim is an example of that. As a cult classic, Zim stands out as a uniquely loved cartoon character, and this video tutorial will show you how and why he is so.
