I got my 1st pair of ASICS in 2012 for work. I recently got my 2nd pair, the pure silver kayano legacy. I went vegan and gave up fashion. I would wear dashikis and rope sandals or some low quality shoe just to validate my opinion well... I'm back now and I'm not vegan anymore and it's good to see ASICS getting recognition. I’m going to do a 3D break down of the shoe I love em I might get this color next thank you for the video.

Hey Sean i went for the other color “cilantro/gold” and I think I had made made a mistake with the color I picked , but then swapped the spare brown laces for the green and it gives a much better look to the shoe .
I got them in hand and I must say that they felt quite underwhelming. On the other hand I copped the Asics x OTTO958 and got surprised how nice they are.@@SeanGo
@@SeanGo What do you mean by "felt off"? I am german and for me it sounds like they kind of broke apart? I am considering to buy these, but if they get damaged so quick & easy I won't buy them.
I ended up returning my pair I just couldn't justify myself the $200 price point especially material wise most of it being synthetic just didn't sit right with me I kind of prefer that Gel-Keyano 14 Oatmeal colorway over these.
I also dont like that side panel piece Sean thats why I stayed away from this model but nonetheless helpful review. I just prefer NB over asics for fit & feel asics alwaus feel a a bit snug on my feet.
I Think The GMBH Black And White Ones Are Dope But That Price Is Ridiculous And Lack Of Real Materials Is Disappointing. Even Most Kayano 14's Use Suede And Very Rarely Are All Completely Leather. I Will Pass On These.
Man, all these regular classic athletic runners are starting to feel overpriced. I just can't believe shoes that have no genuine quality leather can cost $200. Rip off. Another pair not worth over $120.
Just never been a fan of mash ups like the Jordan 6 Rings or Spizikes or the Nike Air Max Tuned where they try to put in detail from a bunch of different sneakers. It always comes out looking too busy and disjointed.

I have the other colorway which I really love because it looks like it came from the 80's/90's anime like Gundam and some super sentai series.

I think I like the other colourway more .
I'd take the Gel-Kayano 14 over the Legacy any day. This Legacy model is too busy design-wise, too many lines and patterns imo.
These are truly ugly asa dad shoes. When will this trend die haha
