Grewup in dismal waves of FL then moved to Cali for work after HS, the worst surf days in Cali was better than my best surf days in FL, Waves in Cali always consitent, water temp on the other hand🥶 but with a suit its bearable.

Question, what's a good intermediate board, kinda in between a longboard and something that's not a longboard ?

Definitely a fish shape in the 5’8” range. They’re wide with lots of volume. Easy to catch smaller waves. Almost like a longboard compressed into a shortboard.

@@Surferjoefwb Thanks, looking at something different then my Garcia foamy, road a 7'4ft hardtop, was so easy catching waves, thought I'd like a shorter, hardtop board.
