I had until recently a Seat Altea 2.0 tdi with a K&N panel filter and could not make my mind up if the car benefitted from it or not. The VAG tdi powerplant doesn't particularly lend it's self well to a 0-60 pull, in the real world a diesel with it's bags of torque will show greater results from an ingear dash from say 30-50, 40-60 0r 50-70 as in an overtaking manoeuvre. That would be more relevant in my opinion. Good video mate, keep 'em coming.
I think it takes a little while for the map sensor to adjust to the different air flow in order to make changes to the air/fuel ratio. A test later on (after more runs) would show better results therefore. I've seen some videos on induction (Ramair induction £150) kits on 2.0 tdi and you get turbo whooshing noises! Enjoying your videos bud, thanks
I went for a full induction kit, cone filter and 2.75inch silicone pipping straight to throttle body, without testing before and after can feel it pulling harder and plus big bonus the putushhhh noise for when I'm feeling childish lol
Great video, nice easy, road-side mod! I've gotta say, I'm surprised you haven't put spacers on this yet! Those RS4 style alloys are so aggressive as they are, pushing them out a little and filling the arches a bit more would be a nice touch!
@@matimcfetridge Go for the Sportline kit for the Eibach's mate, the Pro Kit (what I've got on my A3) is essentially the same ride height as S-line springs anyway. The spacers I went for were H&R, they seem to be the most recommended for Audis.
@@MrMikkiFunk i have the s-line (well black edition) springs on my a3 and i would still say its a little too high. what would you recommend for me if anything?
@@joeburch7959 If you've got an S-line then you can get the Eibach Sportline springs Mati has used here. I believe they only work on S-line springs/ shocks as non S-line shocks won't compress enough for the car to drop to the designed ride height of the springs.
I've read posts around the internet saying if you want to change the induction/filter you should get a tune done immediately after and that's what makes a bigger difference. I don't know if it's true but I suppose it wouldn't hurt.
You get my sub str8 off due to Lauren’s facial expression on your intro superb . Devoid of all emotion I was hoping for at least a millimetre of eyebrow raise in a questioning way but no nothing . Really good vid . Thinking about it I should imagine when the factory figures are released the car will have nothing in it , no passengers , limited fuel , no boot full of tools lol 😅, in a windless environment so .5 over its sterile time is not to be sniffed at tbh. Right now to watch the rest of your vids
😂😂 you got a big job on? Thought it made most sense to put money earnt straight back into the channel, tools like those save time and definitely make the jobs quicker and easier to film 🤙🏼

Basically in a diesel with low power air filters and cone filters are a waste of money, spend it on something else like a rolling remap, brakes, HD antiroll bar links.......

Is that on a tdi too? Would have liked more noise to be honest but must say I was skeptical of any gain really 😂
@@matimcfetridge nah 2.0 pretrol Turbo 08 plate preface lift
Wouldn’t go with a cone to much heat soak panel filters are the way to go.
Hi can I fit an DIGITAL dashboard cluster on my Audi A3 8v Sline 66 plate manual tdi???
Those suspense shots though 👌🤣
Alll about the suspense 😂
love it man😊 can you do a video on changing window motor and a video on performance chips
Any suggest on a 8p tdi with 143 hp from 2006? It has 96k km and we considering to take it cause our 206 it’s near the end.

spacers definitely in the pipeline, got some eibach lowering springs to go on first though and then I can start looking for the right spacers!

Not true the maff sensor adjusts accordingly
Keep up the good work!

I got the same 2.0tdi I’ve put a k&n filter in it , mostly because filter needed replacing anyway it seem to make it more responsive All I can tell
I'm not sure mine has done anything noticeable to be quite honest, don't really see any difference in day to day driving!
Sorry to hijack you vid but seeing as you mentioned that us subscribers payed for your tools can I reserve them for two days next week?

Would you ever get front and back splitters on it
How did you get boost noise? I’ve an 8v a3 2.0tdi and it’s silent
What did you do to the car to get the turbo blow off to be that loud?!
Edit: nvm think it was the mic you put in there lmao

Where did u buy it from can I fit it to my petrol 1.6 a3
Straight from eurocarparts I believe!
Allow the computer to retune its self
Mate you're still fixing that car, come on man ,leave it alone .
He should of kicked his misses out of the car and did it again. Less weight
No difference this been tested before on mcm
Egr delete next maybe?
Probably not to be honest, would need a dpf delete and a remap too and its just a daily car!
good content m8.
Can't be standard if you did the standard time with an extra person in the car. Plus you launched from 0rpm
