He's actually decent defensively...his last game in the VHL he held his own against men. I think he's lost a step by bulking up to 200lbs, but speed can be regained. Would be a great 2nd line C! Thanks for watching and commenting as usual!

I would imagine he's like most Russians and will have to learn the defensive part of the game once he comes to North America.
