Thank you! Yes with time comes the wisdom of taste and aesthetics. Your compliments are much appreciated. You are also smart get high waisted pants I believe they are here and not going anywhere. Alas they aren’t the best easiest to find in the states. Europe is ahead of us; I recommend Natalino or Collaro of course. But you could go rogue and search thrift stores. The 80s Armani suits were pretty high waisted.

As someone who has spent a lot of time on the Croatian coast I'd say, you can only pull off lofers if you're a mature gentleman such as yourself. I would advise younger guys to grab some slip on Vans instead because lofers on a young guy are often considered dorky (at least in Croatia). You can rock them in Italy 100%, after all those guys raise their collars on their polo shirts.

I just got a pair of Gucci loafers while on my honeymoon. Ever since then I want more budget friendly loafers. Will definitely be getting these 👍

Men in America really need to take more pride in their appearance in public and swapping sneakers with loafers is a fantastic start.
I try to not lean on how bad men in America dress, but sometimes it is so prevalent. Lately for the guys who hate loafers I’ve been recommending a nice boot.

I did not size down at all. They fit great. Do others recommend to do so?

I have had them 6 months. Worn regularly and they are doing good. But that’s not really a test. Guess the jury’s out.

I got 9. And that’s what I usually wear. So pretty spot on.
