The visual difference between their stop motion and cgi motion is pretty wild. Did they record them at different rates? The charm of stop motion is def in all the little variables. But seeing the smoothness of the camera movement and background elements - like the crab climbing down the wall - against the stuccato half speed animations of the main characters is pretty jarring
I don’t get it. You guys 3D print a model, texture it physically, then reproduce it digitally to rig them and animate in the softwares!?? I understand the part that it gives a hand crafted look.. but it is still a digital animation. Only the texture is handmade. 🤷🏻♂️ So its not stop motion animation completely.
