Holy shit, I never seen the day out of all videogame characters in existence that Blount would make an appearance. Goblins is such a very bizarre point and click adventure game.
Can you imagine playing this game where you can choose from an assload of characters from just about any video games franchise imaginable? Can you imagine playing as Kyo Kusangi from King of Fighters going against Shanoa from Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia or Kain from Blood Omen fighting Sly Cooper??
This whole card assists feature is both a awesome game mechanic and a enormous tribute to videogames. Like come on, I might have expected lots of JRPGs and fighting game characters but I got Pocky & Rocky, The Prince of All Cosmos, Quote and some many characters you don't often see on anything!!! That beyond sold the game for me!!! Oh and the Hatsune Miku minigame is cool as heck haha

Dude, these are awesome! The animations are beautiful! Honestly I couldn't take my eyes off Saria having fun with her ocarina. Super cute! Also, Miku was expertly animated

I remember when Dani Oliver (he did the sprite work and was a main dev for the game) first started this, and now he has a more professional job with a game company. Man, to see how great this pixel work and gameplay still hold up. It's just awesome to see in action again. :)

Demoman could charge at the enemy twice before colliding with him/her in a drunken stumble. Sniper could be a one hit assist that either blast the enemy with his rifle or throws jarate at them. Engineer could either heal you with with his dispenser or pop a cap in the enemy with a level 3 sentry. Soldier could rocket jump into the air for a few seconds before coming down on the enemy at high speed with a shovel to the face. Scout could drink a can of BONK and start chasing the enemy around in attempt to whack them with his bat. Pyro could remain stationary while unleashing a wide radius of flames or leaving the enemy with burn damage via his tiny lighter gun thingy. Spy could be a broken one hit assist that cloaks himself for a few seconds only to appear behind the enemy to deliver an unlockable backstab. Murasmus (if I'm spelling that right) could unleash a horde of skeletons upon the battle field or curse the enemy with a tiny head. It's true that anyone works!!
