Great tut Joren! But, I can't see the " user clicks an IG ad " when creating a trigger. I can all other options, but no IG ad option, it's not there. Do you have any ideas of what I can do? I refreshed, all connections and integrations are good. Thx

If I wanted to create a meta ad that can use both messenger or instagram DM at the ad set level, how do I create the automation within Manychat to accommodate this? I seem to only be able to pick 1 message flow at the ad level - my FB or my IG flow. And within the flow I can’t select both messenger/FB and instagram DM as the trigger. Do I have to separate the ad sets?

I noticed when I ran my IG ad that Meta said I had no results despite my Manychat flow getting leads. Edit: I see someone may have asked something similar below me. I am in the USA.
@@chatimize Gotcha. I tried to follow Manychat's tutorial on it but the steps they outlined didn't exactly line up with what I had to do on Meta, so I couldn't get it to work. Going to see if someone on Fiverr can make it work, haha. Could make a good future video for you!

Wel is het belangrijk dat je mensen niet direct stuurt naar de website. Als je dat namelijk doet, dan kan je mensen geen follow-up sturen. Ik raad dus aan om het volgende te doen: 1. Eerste bericht: Hey! Wil je mijn blog hebben? Klik op de knop hier beneden en ik stuur hem direct naar je toe!" 2. Tweede bericht: Hier is de blog (iets met button). 3. En dan vervolgens de rest van de flow.
Can you show how this is done for a comments trigger instead of a message when using FB/IG ads? I can't seem to get it to work. I want to run an ad where I ask people to comment a certain word that then triggers a DM/Message. I can do this for a page post but not for an ad it seems?
If you want to automatically reply to comments from Ads, you need to set the trigger to "All Posts". It only works with that trigger (not with setting up for a specific post). So I recommend going with a keyword that you only mention inside the Ad, so you can properly track what people are coming from the ad.

I had a question, I was looking at maybe connecting manychat to my instagram ads because on the ads manager the conversions / conversations are not being tracked. Anytime I get a DM with the keyword facebook doesn't tell us we get a DM so it keeps spending and spending thinking the campaign isn't working, which slows down the results, do you have any recommended fixes? We are doing the engagement objective.

It is possible, but you cannot connect an Instagram Ad to a specific WhatsApp automation. The ad can only go to your Whatsapp number. So I don’t recommend connecting an Instagram Ad to WhatsApp.

Yes, I recommend to seperate it. So I would set up one ad set for Instagram and one seperate ad set for Messenger.

My recommendation is to optimize for conversations. What country are you in? That also has an influence on what you are seeing with ads.
