BCAA powder, plenty of water, bananas, and foam rolling, stretching will also help with the soreness. Eventually it will become less intense. Keep doing what you’re doing the results will come. Take weekly progress photos too, it helps to see in pictures what you don’t see when you look in the mirror everyday.

Girl, I am LOVING your content. Love your style, your personality and all the topics you cover. Former fitness competitor here - after your workouts, foam roll, stretch, walk. Do light recovery work to push that acid out of your muscles that is keeping you sore. You might also want to try cold showers (only before the workout, not after or it will keep you from recovering and keep you sore). Hope that helps but happy to answer any more questions. With fitness you have to shift your mind around it. I would say have a days missed (mine is 2) don’t let one days missed make you feel like you have ruin your fitness journey, look at it as a you are getting in your life time fitness fine bag not a short term fine goals and focus on your why. If you why is solid and valid it will allow you to stay consistent. It’s all about your mindset 😊💪🏽 Anniversary coming soon

Just found your channel! Love your style and content! You hit the nail on the head!!! You have to find your why! That is your motivation and that is how you show up for you. I look at gym and fitness as my therapy! It’s my wellness. It’s where I go to workout as well as work through things in my head. And, think of all the things that we do for others. Gym is one of the things that you get to do for you and you get all of the benefits (health wise and the bonus is you look good with clothes on and naked 😜)

Such a motivational vlog. As for the soreness keep going that will help you get use to working those muscles you haven't been working. Showing up for yourself is so important and it honestly helps everything else flow around you because you become lighter and and more grounded. Girl you looking good and skin is popping ❤

I've worn the same pair of Bermuda shorts that are more form fitting for like 10 years. They hit me mid thigh and make me look like i have hips lol. I thought I would hate the baggier one but like how you styled the black ones. The look feels vampy.
I love a more tailored silhouette. This look is quite dark for spring. When I go back I’ll be looking for lighter colors and denim.

😊Yes Shaneka💁🏽♀️I noticed your face right away. That was the 1st thing my hubby noticed, after starting Keto. I'm going into my 2nd month. My BIGGEST downside is 🫣🥤I have had an addiction since HS. Regular, not diet. Otherwise, I'm really good on the food side. I have never had an issue with sweets. My problem was fried foods😋I love the 2 hair looks 🙂You are doing so good girl😩I'm too lazy to workout. I'm entering mid 50s😜and I'm honest😂I just walk.

I workout and lift pretty heavy for lower body. Try a protein smoothie with creatinine after workouts. It helps with muscle recovery.

Hey Shaneka! The more you workout the less sore you’ll be. In the meantime try a BCAA. It’s a muscle recovery and most of them also have electrolytes as well. You will notice a difference immediately. I also follow a low carb diet, and they’re also keto friendly. Good luck!!

It’s funny how people hate Walmart, I love it never have a problem; nothing is locked up at my Walmart maybe because I only shop mon- thurs between the hours of 9am to 1 pm because I don’t like crowds

You look great but I understand what you are saying and I’m sure you will reach your goal. My son and his girlfriend been together about the same amount of time. Last week they went to Jamaica for her birthday and my son proposed. I’m excited but them and my 2 grandkids. 😊I never tried keto but I do intermittent fasting for nearly 2 years now and lost nearly 70 pounds. No longer type 2 diabetic and off meds. 😊

Hence why I go every day. I NEED to. Cause if I don't, I'm going to fight my husband or kids some days and I love them, so I take the time and go soon after work to help calm my "happy" tail down.
