I like to call Kaizo levels with the "reach the goal without landing after leaving the ground" condition 1-up machines. Also, that shoe level could also be done with a drybone's shell.
"No te piques." That last word, which DGR couldn't pronounce, is pronounced "P case". The verb picar can refer to a wide range of actions from itching to nibbling on something to slicing or boring a hole in something, and "no te [verb]-es" means "don't do this verb to yourself." In this context, a level full of spikes, probably the best translation would be "don't impale yourself."
I know how it feels to hurt because of a game. You've got a "Mario Thumb", I had a "Melee Hand" due to playing competitive SSBM for years. Numbness and pain and sore muscles in the hand. I stopped SSBM cold turkey and the symptoms disappeared quite quickly. I figured it was due to too many RPMs
That second kaizo shell jump level seems awfully familiar....................... or at the very least, it has A LOT of familiar level design elements to another level...
He should play down to the mines in the 3D world style. I've been trying everything to best it. Essentially, there are two bullet shooters on each side that shoot out bombs and entire sub area covered with grey blocks. You get access to a hammer suit and a fire flower at all times. Once you make it down there, there's a red pipe that leads no where. And off to the right is a Thwomp. I cannot for the life of me figure out what you're supposed to do.
Is the "trials of the shell #2" level part of a super world? The way the title and description looked, it seemed like there could be a whole series by that creator. If so, it might be cool to have a video as a showcase of these levels specifically.
I just got given a Switch! I've wanted Mario Maker since before the sequel, so it's definitely the first game I'm gonna buy for the system. Hey, if I get a Switch game on card, does it still get the patches download versions get?
