@@KnzoVortex I think it exhibits a lot of fundamentals of future bass, not as modernized as it has been for the past 4 or 5 years but around about its origins.
@@timothyeverson1795 From my listeneing, the song was definitely more trap/hip-hop than anything else. The drums (and 808s) are very hip-hop like and the backing instruments fit into the box as well.
What I think you are hearing is the use of the tremolo on the voice giving a rhythmic effect: a sound that has indeed been common in future bass and become quite a staple in it. But I definitely think it fits fine in trap, the song still has a trap vibe, and the lead sound happens to have a very cool tremolo groove.
Otherwise from that, it doesn't really have the characteristics of a future bass song in the style you are comparing this to. It doesn't have the bright sizzly supersaws screaming with energy, or the pure electronic pan snares or punchy EDM drums. Instead, everything in the song radiates trap/hip-hop energy, in a similar way to most of his beats. Both styles do have the same roots (in earlier trap and EDM) so in that way maybe they are comparable, but as far as I hear it, this is just an ordinary trap/hip-hop beat with a tremolo vocal lead.

I just listened to your sound cloud song... Its great but only improvements I would say would be #1. Just fill up more sound space with your drums, its too snappy.. Kind of annoying because the whole song is places on the drum kick and the song sounds empty. #2. Lower your High Frequency.. I feel like my ears are going to go deaf..
