I ran into Rolle in a barbershop in Homestead Fl when he first signed with the Giants and I said yo man help us win a chip, he said I’m going to do my best and sure nuff he kept his word and we won a Super Bowl that next year!!
I worked security at a job full of Cowgirl stans during this run. Me and the janitor were the only Giants fans in the building. We caught hell all season until, well, you know. 😎
I will always feel Justin's pregame speech is the greatest Super Bowl pregame speech of all time. I never get tired of watching it. Everytime I see it I put my game face on. Let's go get it fellas.
Love how the GIants reward their Greats - means a lot to see them, hear them breaking stuff down, or maybe wide receiver-stuff know by His Salsa-ness, Mr. Cruz.
Antrel Rolle!!! Stay blessed Always loved your playstyle and impact you have Cardinals wild as hell to let you leave the team but I was happy Straight DOG at the Safety/Corner spot
We can't win them every year. I think the goal of a team should be to give their fans at least one title in a lifetime. And I have gotten 4 in my lifetime. Another would be nice.... but I still feel great listening to Phil Simms and Mcconkey talk about a SB...lol I don't feel bad about it at all...I still get the good feels from them.
We Giants fans haven’t forgotten you playing with two torn rotator cuffs. Also, you being a team first guy subbing in at nickel when we were down a player. The consummate professional.
We can only hope one day the Giants will field a competent team and at least get back to the playoffs.. what they have now is nothing short of embarrassing.. yet I still have hope for the g-men.
I guess when your team has sucked for 10 years with no improvement under various coaches, players, and GMs...you bring out the guys to talk about the good old days.
So after the Giants beat the then undefeated Patriot's to win SB XLII everyone was like, oh that was just a fluke that can never happen again, but when these two teams met in SB XLVI, they did it again, for the record it is - Eli 2 Pretty Boy 0
Here's what-doesn't-make-SENSE-to-me about fan-bases bashing, i.e. becoming-upset-with? Beloved Sports Franchises (NYG). ...We love the Team, the Owners, The Players (though they change), The Seasons, The Games, the great Falls and Winters we enjoy. This is true enough I think. Now with such huge STAKES/LIVES/CAREERS, we know that everyone involved is GIVING it 100 %. How else could we have so many thrilling seasons/finishes? "MVP's who throw the ball 67 yards in the air - so that it lands on a quarter." That's all good so far, right. So when things go WRONG, I'm disappointed, yeah. But FOR the franchise, FOR the Giants, because I know how much they put in. I know the years/dedication it takes. To GET to (everyone's) A-List level, from locker room to Owners Mara and Tisch. Takes everything, and a lot of times everything just isn't good enough. Most of the time it is but not always. Anyway, I hurt for the Giants, not myself. When the Eagles' came back, returned a punt for a TD, shocking the NYG and Tom Coughlin - I wanted to WEEP for Tom. Cuz that one by all rights was in-the-bag. The complete antithesis of the Hail Mary. It's not that ima rah-rah, though i am. It's that I'd want the Giants to judge ME. With as MUCH compassion. As I try to judge them AND everyone else. I'm not Joe Judge so I don't judge. Joe Judge is the boss. Joe Judge and Dave Gettleman got them on the brink. I've been first to call DESTINY online, but that's what the Giants have in front of them. The nucleus of a destiny. The 49ers or Rams of yore.
There does not seem to be any role players on the current team who has leadership ability while the 2011 team had even special teamers who would voice their opinion and thoughts and just flat out speak and act as if they were the ones in charge in order to motivate encourage and fire the team up to overcome adversity. The teams from the last few years may have the talent and athleticism and potential but still lacking the resolve to take the next step

Rolle was such a great add to the Giants. Great signing by Reese and he doesn't get enough credit. Played hard and didn't miss a game.
Ahh, yes, the only way to actually enjoy Giants football -- a trip down memory lane from a decade ago 😭
It hurts. 😔
Exactly 😂😂😂
It’s all we have these days.

Always an honor @ Antrel & JT.
This group of defensive players was a good smash mouth football team.Tuff Enough never quit..really.
The defensive unit should’ve got the SB MVP both times. Let’s push for change.
The whole defense needs to get together and watch THIS take notes !

They both look like they could come out retirement. Yesterday. But why
with all that loose cash sittin' around.
