This was the greatest full season by a trio of receivers in NFL history. Cruz owned the regular season Nicks owned the playoffs Manningham owned the super bowl
That Giants team just had GREAT position groups. From Bradshaw and Jacobs, to Nicks, Cruz Manningham…to Osi, Tuck, Pierre-Paul, Kiwi…Rolle, Phillips Webster, …to O’Hara, Snee, Kmac and Diehl. Just great leadership to found everywhere.
What’s even crazier for me is I’m a diehard Michigan fan, diehard Pats fan and it was a fellow Michigan guy in Manningham that flamed us 🤦🏾♂️. Man that’s like your mother, wife and sister in a triple threat match 🤣
I have been waiting on this video. Glad they had Manningham there. He was so clutch and underappreciated. The touchdown against 49ers 3 and 15 in the 3rd quarter on the post route. The touchdown against the pats the first time to tie the game. Nicks and Cruz were definitely huge parts in that championship run. Just happy to see Manningham get his flowers!
Mario was definitely the unsung hero on that 11 playoff run. He scored a touchdown in all the playoff games except the SuperBowl and ironically imo that sideline catch is a top 3 catch in Superbowl history due to the magnitude of that time in the game.
Mario Manningham is from my hometown of Warren, OH. He even took my sister to prom years ago. He’s a cool guy and the 330 will always be proud of him and all that he accomplished.
I just got emotional watching that whole video. That was arguably the most exciting season in Giants history and also the best receiving corps in team history. It was great seeing that ten years later those guys are still close.
Man just think about it us as Giants fans at least my age (27) have seen some amazing championship runs. 07’ Lambeau field minus 0°, defeating the undefeated patriots. 11’back at Lambeau again defeating 1 seed Packers, then going to Candlestick Park muddy rainy foggy grueling game. I still call it the greatest Giants game I’ve ever watched. Then capping it off defeating the Patriots once again. Sure these past few years have been rough but I wouldn’t trade those championship run memories for anything.
Victor Cruz Paterson n.j. 10th ave up. Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks, Mario Manningham.... was a great Tandem in Giant's Uniform as Receiver....Juan.bx n.y.
I was born in 1980 I started watching the Giants the 1986 when I want to Super Bowl I’ve been a fan ever since I was six years old I am now 42 and after all of the Giants place I would have to say I think Victor Cruz might be my second or third favorite giant of all time
Man this just makes me even more grateful to be a Giants fan and a blessing that I became a Giants fan when my dad taught me football in 07 so it’s even sweeter
Mario was the best neighbor ever I didn’t know he was a former nfl player until 1 year ago me and his son Mario manningham Jr used to be friends but I have moved away every scene then
What I love about that trio and in that run is that everybody had their moment. They all were massive contributors to that run. That picture at 31:29 is something I have saved on my phone. Iconic.
Hey guys, you don't know me. I'm a lifetime fan of the Giants. I just want to say, we family for life guys. If I ever see one of you on the side of the road. I got ya back.
You guy’s are definitely family not only with your teammates but with us your fans! I’ve been a Giant fan since Fran Tarkington day’s. My Dad and older brothers went to Yankee stadium to see games! My dad was a devout Giants fan. My mom would say the whole house would be in a bad mood eating dinner if the Giants lost! lol I’m so grateful my dad got to see those Super Bowls after watching the Giants lose for years! It means more then you know! Love you guy’s and always will thanks for the joy you brought to our family!💙💙💙💙
This was so dope that shot at the end with all 3 with the back of their jerseys been my screen saver for years ...Eli has got to be the most underrated QB of all time... only people that really know football or played with him know how good he was n tuff as nails ... ... 1st Ballot no doubt ....G-Men 4 life ...
Really solid receiving crew. HUGE plays in key moments. Wish we had guys like that now. And the thing that struck me about this group of receivers is that you see so many 'big personalities' and egos at the position, but these guys by comparison were completely unselfish. They did it as a group and pulled for each other just as much as themselves if not more. Real team players.
Love it! Really love this! What a receiving 3 we had wow miss those times. Listening to this pod cast really showed the intricate things of that team, how important and awesome of a coach Tom was and Eli. He did so much behind the scene, with the receivers and dialing in when he needed to. We need you guys to pass that on to giant receiving cores of the future. Each one teach one. This was awesome love it.
Love these guys. I miss Toomer, Plaxico and Steve Smith. Nothing tops Mario's sideline catch in the SB, though. So sweet! He looks so skinny now. Hope he's not hittin the ganga too hard. G-Men 4 life!
When Victor Cruz play that first game against the Jets I knew we had a Star, it seems like I was the only one talking about him? but gradually everyone else started to notice..
Was hoping they would bring up Belichick saying "make them go to Pascoe, make them go to Manningham" and then Manningham made that big catch right in front of Belichick ....
Yes my profile shows My Texas, born & raised. But I'm a GIANTS fan for life dating back to the days of Phil Simms, Lawrence Taylor, Mark Bavaro etc..I'm just gonna call y'all the Tre 8's..thanks for the memories.
Miss you both I wish you both were playing right now imagine having Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks binded with the new I miss the original big blue but I know we have to move on that's the hardest thing for me to do it is what it is just hope something happens love you soon like what happened against the terrorists and all the other players throughout the year Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks I like to imagine every time y'all two were in the field I always know we had a chance to make it to the Superbowl big blue Gotti
As a Died Had Giant Fan, those two SB wins were just not real and it felt that I was living in some Fantasy Dream World! I can Never choose which one was my Favorite because they each represented two of the Greatest Victories in Giant's history! The first SB in 2007 was one of the most remarkable wins by such a underdog team going against the Team that was touted as the greatest team in Football History because they were Undefeated in that season! The second SB win in 2011 was being touted as "The Revenge Game" and this Game would give the Patriots that win which would be retribution for that awful loss in 2007! Well, as we all know, this did Not Happen and this Game was almost a Carbon Copy of the Giant's first win! The best part for me was after each of these games when all those Talking Heads and Experts had to once again EAT THEIR WORDS!
Legendary receiver core. Dependable, strong hands, physical, fast. Cruz will always be my favorite Giant ever. Just an electric player. Nicks had massive hands and some sneaky speed. Mario was always dependable seemed like he was always came up big for Eli when Nicks and Cruz were getting the attention. Can’t ask for more from a WR3
I had to screenshot that last photo of Nicks , Cruz , and Manningham I need to get that blown up and put on my wall to the Greatest WR group in Giants History Hakeem Nicks was definitely underrated and was better than Dez Bryant
Giants fans are suffering from the Curse of the MetLife Stadium agreement. Seriously. The NY Football Giants sharing a stadium with the lowly jets. We've gone down to their level. Time to build a new exclusive NYG Stadium. I love these videos of great seasons of the past. I'd prefer some new memories I can enjoy.
Haha Yeah Mario Manningham is a tight rope king Had no doubt he caught every sideline ball. Mario M aka "tight rope king" aka "toe tapper" Giants Memories
Thanks for watching! Subscribe now for the best Giants content!
I did't know Nicks played with the Giants from 2004 to 2011
Please fire Garrett and gutterman, we re tierd of seeing the Giants lose !!!
@@jmalq642 he didn't he got drafted in 2009.
This was SO MUCH FUN thanks guys.
This receiving core was just amazing , the whole team was just so focused ! Thank you G-MEN !
This was the greatest full season by a trio of receivers in NFL history.
Cruz owned the regular season
Nicks owned the playoffs
Manningham owned the super bowl
Great breakdown
That Giants team just had GREAT position groups. From Bradshaw and Jacobs, to Nicks, Cruz Manningham…to Osi, Tuck, Pierre-Paul, Kiwi…Rolle, Phillips Webster, …to O’Hara, Snee, Kmac and Diehl. Just great leadership to found everywhere.
now thats the dream team
The disrespect.
By far the best giants wide receiving core hands down that run was epic!!!!
Nicks still so underrated!!! Nicks > Dez
Absolutely
The Manningham catch was a dagger to the heart of the Pats
What’s even crazier for me is I’m a diehard Michigan fan, diehard Pats fan and it was a fellow Michigan guy in Manningham that flamed us 🤦🏾♂️. Man that’s like your mother, wife and sister in a triple threat match 🤣

I hope the current players are watching these videos to see the work, leadership and teamwork that went into these Superbowl runs.
What a season....miss these days. When Sundays were exciting and guys put it on line.
Mario Manningham is from my hometown of Warren, OH. He even took my sister to prom years ago. He’s a cool guy and the 330 will always be proud of him and all that he accomplished.

Victor Cruz Paterson n.j. 10th ave up. Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks, Mario Manningham.... was a great Tandem in Giant's Uniform as Receiver....Juan.bx n.y.
Bro Victor Cruz reminded us that yes we can succeed no matter what...with the rite team the rite attitude...Over all focus....is key.....
I was born in 1980 I started watching the Giants the 1986 when I want to Super Bowl I’ve been a fan ever since I was six years old I am now 42 and after all of the Giants place I would have to say I think Victor Cruz might be my second or third favorite giant of all time
2011 was a decade ago. I guess we have to be reminded of the good times to forget the product that has been on the field since then.
Man this just makes me even more grateful to be a Giants fan and a blessing that I became a Giants fan when my dad taught me football in 07 so it’s even sweeter
Manningham is very low key its cool to see him like this
Mario was the best neighbor ever I didn’t know he was a former nfl player until 1 year ago me and his son Mario manningham Jr used to be friends but I have moved away every scene then
Best trio of WRS in Giants history shame they all got seriously injured
from 7-7 to super bowl champions, thank you Giants no one can ever that way! I get choked up ever time I even think about it!
Love this series and hearing first hand from the players! Maybe the most regretful thing Belichik ever said..."make them go to Manningham"!
Victor is so right , that pass to Mario was 🔥. Monentum 😊😊
What I love about that trio and in that run is that everybody had their moment. They all were massive contributors to that run. That picture at 31:29 is something I have saved on my phone. Iconic.
that was soooo good it's ridiculous. great job men...always loved that team!
The legendary Giant team I’m getting flashbacks from childhood 😢🖤
My childhood ix the 80s Parcells Giants. Damn I'm old. Lol

Respect! Giants had some good talent out there at receiver. I hate my boy Nicks went to the Giants though lol. Big Tarheels & Cowboys fan!!
When Victor Cruz play that first game against the Jets I knew we had a Star, it seems like I was the only one talking about him? but gradually everyone else started to notice..
