If your Sony radio is a model prepared for Android Auto and you have an Android phone with the Android Auto app installed on it, I'd guess the AAwireless will work fine. Try and google the model number on your Sony radio. Either you'll find a webshop selling the radio, which usually lists all the features of our particular Sony radio. Or you can try and go to Sony's own website and look up your model and find the spec sheet. Keyword you should be looking for: Android Auto. It's a shame that they make a comparison with one person and put him as "not pleasant to look at" "overweight, clumsy, bald, etc" and the other person young, fashionable, etc. Do not discriminate!
You are the one discriminating Body Size has no relevance to the comparison here, and you cannot prove it because you have no data on the Indigogo Developer
The greatness is in Questions. Do we need that many cars? Can't you do all that with your mobile & Android Assistant, Bixby, Alexa etc? Shouldn't you be working from home, socialising with locals, walkout to enjoy nature (if you are not in cage city), & using public transport/communicating (with masks)?
I don't understand this video. At no point does it explain what the product does, which vehicles it is compatible with, and the features that it add. I'm genuinely surprised by all the positive comments about a black box with a wire attached to it.
From the start, the video shows "Fatism", which is kind of a prejudice against people with overweight (not necessary in an unhealthy way), and it's an attitude bornt from nothing but absurd ideas and ideologies. Its a symbolic form of racism wich could emerge from antipathy toward people with overweight or obesity (wich is a complex health condition and its classified as a desease). It's sometimes based on the "ideology of blame" which in this case is inherent to the rejection of that particularly stigmatized group, and therefore presented with "antifat" attitudes, increasing overweight and obesity stigma overal. It's also worth to mention the selection of backgrounds (besides the weight discrimination in the characters themselves). From the start: grey city vs green mountain, formal vs informal clothing, car color white vs black, etc. Even thought, at the end of the add they join both shots to highlight the idea that the gadget will make the life of the people easier, that doesn't erase nor compensate the way the footage was presented before. Just an opinion.
Dude, you have WAY to much spare time on your hands :-) I'm one of the few (or perhaps many?) people with the unpopular opinion, that we should not glorify being obese or fat. We SHOULD kinda be shaming people for being fat. I was once quite fat and healthwise I never felt quite well due to my size. I could have dizzy spells, have a hard time walking around and would often get sweaty from doing simple tasks like bending down to tie my shoes. It wasn't until I started working out and truly started to think about what I ate, that I got rid of many of the issues that used to plague me. But what actually finally got me doing something about it? It was shame. And that shame got me motivated. Had people around me not made little zingers about my former size or shown concern about my health, today I might have suffered strokes and whatnot. Usually, the ones I've come across, who have tried to convince me that shaming on people for being obese/fat is another sort of 'racism', have also been XL or larger. People, who are too lazy and/or too fond of fat foods to actually do the work to maintain their health.

Wired android auto is the worst feature of any modern vehicle. The cable on the Samsung devices slipped out constantly the moment the phone is touched. Were in the 21st century and we have to plug in our phones to receive gps and other features that came stick on most vehicles only a few years ago. Automanufactures should be ashamed. And they should include wireless protection and headsup display on all vehicles as standard. Cars have gotten more expensive and technology via our ohines have as well. Automobiles infotainment centers have regressed.

This device creates a WiFi signal to which the phone connects, right? Can this device act as a WiFi dongle that will connect to any WiFi signal instead?
Nope...
Emil,
Does this work on the Mazda CX-9 2021 Model?
Does this work with 2017 CR-V which has the wired AA
It does work with honda 2016 as far as I know it's the same unit (honda pilot) and that was tested as working
Would this end up working on F31 BMW 2014-2015?
This needs the car to have Android Auto
tested on Audi models 2016/2017?
No, only with Audi 2018 and there it works.
@@emilborconiszedressy6304 Will 2019 Q7 work?
does this work in a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Can it cast youtube video to the car?
Hello, my name is Sayaka Nakashima and I am the president of NIJI GROUP JAPAN.
Your product "AAWireless" is so wonderful that I would like to discuss the possibility of selling it in Japan.
Please let me talk to you.
when does the scheduled shipment start, are there any changes to the schedule?
Please see the updates on indiegogo for all details
Hi, Emil, I have two questions for you. If my Chinese PX6 Android 10 head unit does not support Android Auto can I use an alternative software? My second question I really prefer car launcher apps like carwebguru over the typical tablet-style launchers because of the car-specific customization can I run something like Pandora in the background while still using my preferred launcher?
Look for headunit reloaded app :)
I have a 2016 GMC terrain it doesn't have AA would this work with it or no?
No this will not add Android Auto to the unit. The car needs to have Android Auto support, this will only add wireless option
What if i am driving through a tunnel and lose internet connection. Will AA disconnect in that time??
No WiFi connection between the device and phone has nothing to do with mobile data connection.
Would this work on a gen3 mazda3?
Haven't tested yet but it should yes.
Só faria sentido para mim se fosse do tamanho de um pendrive para conectar diretamente na multimídia para não ficar com fios pendurados.
Hi. Work with mib1 seat loen 2015?
Hi, does this product also work with Sony Radio and mobile phone with Android operating system?
If your Sony radio is a model prepared for Android Auto and you have an Android phone with the Android Auto app installed on it, I'd guess the AAwireless will work fine. Try and google the model number on your Sony radio. Either you'll find a webshop selling the radio, which usually lists all the features of our particular Sony radio. Or you can try and go to Sony's own website and look up your model and find the spec sheet. Keyword you should be looking for: Android Auto.
If your radio is not prepared for Android Auto, then you might wanna look for something else - something like this: ruclips.net/video/5ZWwnn14qA8/видео.html
@@pHD77 Hi, thanks for your reply. My radio confirm that I have android auto and carplay, this is the model of the following radio XAV-AX205DB. I await confirmation before purchasing
@@andreacosolito8047 ruclips.net/video/zJCvzeoI8FE/видео.html
Judging from this presentation video, your radio model supports Android Auto.
So I'd say that you can easily go ahead and buy the AAwireless. I've already tried using *my* AAwireless on two separate radio units now (borrowed my dad's car for work the other day, when my car was in the shop last week for a full check-up - his radio is a Sony as well) and it worked both places without any trouble at all.
@@pHD77 Good evening. Okay, thanks for the technical support you offered me, I will order your product shortly. Im how long should i receive it in Italy?
@@andreacosolito8047 Oh, it's not my product. I'm just a user and a happy customer. I've just ordered another one for my father and if the info on the website is anything to go by, I should have my father's AAwireless in January. I'd reckon that the same would go for Italy if you order today or within the immediate future.
Work on onix plus 2020 chevrolet?
Hi Emil i have Kia stonic 2018 works?

Hello, does it work at vw polo 2018, mk6. I use wired aa. Thanks
Yes as that is a mib2 unit
Will this work on a 2016 Audi S5?
I want to ask if you use this device can you still use the touch screen on the head unit?
Yes
@@emilborconiszedressy6304 OK that's great. So just to confirm I can use touch screen with Android auto while this device is connected?

Yes
@@emilborconiszedressy6304 when will it be possibile to buy it? This cable drives me crazy ;)
Will this still require you to set up a hotspot on your phone like your app?
No
Will it work on a Toyota Corolla 2019
If it has AA support then yes

@@emilborconiszedressy6304 when does the scheduled shipment start, are there any changes to the schedule?
Ah yes wired android auto acting up cause of the usb cable? Been there many times.
we'll have an android auto acting up because of the wireless module usb cable... won't be solve with this.
If you want to test it in a 2016 Passat, I'd do it voluntarily 😂
Thanks we already have some 2016 VW cars :)
Salut, este posibilă, pentru cei din RO, achiziționarea înainte de lansarea oficială?
In primul nu ar fi corect, dar si daca las la oparte corectitudinea din pacate nu, va fi aceasi data pentru toata lumea.
Unfortunately you can use indiegogo only with a credit card. Will you add paypal payment?
After indiegogo is over and we actually launch the product with our own webshop yes
Hi Emil, are there any updates for your app AAOBD2?
Hi. Sorry this project is taking so much time and energy that I wasn't able to do anything, however once the product goes live will probably work on that with Chiel so the 2 of us should be able to do a much better app then I did on my own.
Hi.
Work with seat leon mib1?
This sounds great but dont you still want your phone to be charging?
they should make the box/adaptor a wireless charging surface
lol, not a touch exaggerated... the wireless integration will probably be a hassle too since it will take time for this box to start and for the wireless connection to be established.
And if your battery is low, you'll have to unplug that, find your cable and plug your phone back in.
Hi i have Kia stonic 2018 work with aa wireless
Will this work with Headunit Reloaded or only official AA headunits?
With headunit reloaded app you don't need this as that does support aawireless already (not so slick integration indeed, but can be done)
Thanks for your reply. I use Headunit Reloaded and have tried connecting wirelessly in the past but have had some issues, leading me to stick with wired connection. So I'm just wondering if this would work with Headunit Reloaded to improve wireless connectivity. Love Headunit Reloaded and appreciate all your hard work on this over the years :-)
@@codyrodenhuis4265 Yes it will (that was the very first unit we used when we started building this) but really no need for that. Email me for support on eborconi@gmail.com and will help you set it up over WiFi if you have HUR. Note I'm going for a holiday next week, so it will take a bit till I get back to you :)
Will it work on 2021 Kia K5?
Should do, it does work on Kia eNiro both the "old" 8 and the new 10.25 system, I think the K5 uses the 8" one.
When can i buy two?
My car is Ford escape 2014 but doesn't have android auto. Will this device convert my car multimedia into android auto? If yes, I would love to buy it.
No this wont sadly. This will only convert a device which is already Android Auto enabled into one which can run AA over Wifi.
There is an option to upgrade your factory Sync 2 head unit to Sync 3, which then adds Android Auto, plus is much faster.
That's what I just did a week ago in my 2014 Ford Edge.

One question I habe with this module, will it work with those Box Modules that hook up to cars such as BeatSonicUSA (www.beatsonicusa.com/lgvifcb3.html)
I have one on my 2018 Lexus 3IS which I use to connect to have Android auto on my car, would this box be able to just be plugged in and my phone connect to your box?
If so this would open up a lot more people to your incredible device and for cars that don't have Android auto and go this route with your device.
Thank you and looks like a great product
Is this still being sold?
На Mazda 3bn подойдёт?
Hi does it work with RAV4 2020?
Haven't tried on Rav4, but Yaris 2020 and CR-V 2020 yes.
Any benchmarks against carplay2air.com/ product?
It's a shame that they make a comparison with one person and put him as "not pleasant to look at" "overweight, clumsy, bald, etc" and the other person young, fashionable, etc.
Do not discriminate!
You are the one discriminating
Body Size has no relevance to the comparison here, and you cannot prove it because you have no data on the Indigogo Developer
Agreed. This seems as ridiculous as an r/wheredidthesodago post. Makes it seem disingenuous.
Have no screen in my car. No need for a phone in my car. Sorry!
I don't understand this video. At no point does it explain what the product does, which vehicles it is compatible with, and the features that it add. I'm genuinely surprised by all the positive comments about a black box with a wire attached to it.
Sounds great and all, but 4 out of 5 indiegogos I've backed, produced NOTHING.
I understand. We will be on the market with the product after the campy so feel free to wait for that stage.
Dude, you have WAY to much spare time on your hands :-)
I'm one of the few (or perhaps many?) people with the unpopular opinion, that we should not glorify being obese or fat.
My name is Earl with Priority Products. I bring products into our company for our “As Seen on Digital/Social Media” funding program. I would be interested in speaking with you about the AAWireless in reference to our “As Seen on Digital/Social Media” funding program.
Too much As-Seen-On-TV-Bumbling-Idiot. And the actor is waay too smug.
The device looks good but I do NOT like the commercial.
fatphobia detected, bad casting 🤣
Wired android auto is the worst feature of any modern vehicle. The cable on the Samsung devices slipped out constantly the moment the phone is touched. Were in the 21st century and we have to plug in our phones to receive gps and other features that came stick on most vehicles only a few years ago. Automanufactures should be ashamed. And they should include wireless protection and headsup display on all vehicles as standard. Cars have gotten more expensive and technology via our ohines have as well. Automobiles infotainment centers have regressed.
