The fact that he went right for the hay--and then the water--speaks loads about his confidence. Many horses would be too nervous in a new place to do that right away. And I think he's a perfect size. I call fellows like him "big little horses." They take up plenty of leg, and appear much larger than they actually are when they are moving. And frankly, the smaller horses usually hold up better in the long run.
Matt - PLEASE don't name your beautiful new PRE after a fashion show. Pick a valiant, romantic name such as Babeka (El Cid's horse) or Granada or Angel Mikail.

Ahwwww, seeing Jesse come down the stable and then him trying not to see him and how he then met him and kissedhim right away, ahww, just this whole Jesse interaction and his personality were really warm, likeable and just beautiful :)

Could you update us a little about how Sureno is doing, what are your goals with him as we don’t see him a lot lately (I know he was with Alizée Froment for a few months) but now that you have another horse, I was a bit curious on what you plan to do with each of them, they are so beautiful and talented
I believe Sureño is at training to be put on consignment. Matt’s stated that he and Sureño really didn’t click well, so he sent him for training and doesn’t know whether or not they’ll be bringing him back to their agistment stable or if they’ll put him for consignment. With this new horse, I reckon Matt will probably sell Sureño. Three young stallions is difficult to manage for anyone all at once. Plus, having Emporio, this new horse, Sureño, Chase, and Bear is certainly a strain on the wallet.
@@-clara-9795 I'm unfollowing at this point because every horse is his "dream" horse and he throws them by the wayside more than I'd like once they aren't the "dream" horse anymore.
@@bunniesbunniesbunnie It happens regularly that once you get to know a horse better you find out it is not the horse for you. In that case it is better for the horse too to move to someone who does feel that connection. As long as you don't just "dump" the horse at a sales barn, but find them a really good home there is nothing wrong with that.

He is so beautiful 🤩! When he came out of the truck, it seemed like he came from across the road instead of three days of travel. Watching YESSE walk down the corridor with all the horses greeting him, had me grinning from ear to ear🤗! He is definitely a horse magnet! Congrats Matt! He’s stunning. ❤️. The way you carefully do everything, from horse shopping to giving them what they want, need, like. It seems you have 50 years experience in a young mans body. I hope more novices follow your lead with their equines, doing everything methodically, saves both horse and rider unnecessary grief, as horses seem tough, but are really very fragile.

Seems to have a good head about him - seems level headed is what I mean - and I loved seeing you take his lead rope and lead him from the trailer over to the barn with such confidence and calm…and Jesse was really cute how he walked down the aisle of the barn dodging horses on his right and left who were inquiring as to his purpose - Jesse’s eyes were fixed on you while waiting to see the new fella - and I think the new horse definitely liked Jesse - he can see Jesse’s light…..Looking forward to video #2 and congratulations - seems like he is going to work out really well!!!! How exciting - extra cookies for Emporio so he doesn’t get jealous :)

Congratulations! The color on Etro! He glows like a burnished coin. You are ridiculously handsome together. I predict big things coming your way. Etro is a great name it suits him. Not to disimiler to what he knows with the o on the end of Nordo. Emporio and Soreno also an o on the end. Could be a theme. He has a "masculine but pretty face" much like you Matt 😉 Horses just love Jesse don't they, he has such a lovely energy.
