I was having really bad cough for almost a week, coughing every minute every hour till my phglem contains blood, i had no choice but took antibiotics... i then have to travel to Kl on friday morning, i still couldn’t stop coughin, after areiving KL i coughed non stop, Saturday still coughing and i felt my lung inflammed, on sunday i went to Masjid India in Kl, fortunately one of the stall was selling fresh pomegranate juice, i immediately bought and drink whole bottle because i was so thirsty, to my surprised the cough stopped. Me and my friends believed (by the grace of God), the pomegranate juice helps stop the bad cough. Alhamdulillah ♥️

Pomegranate juice is one of the best ways to enjoy this delicious fruit. It's easy to extract the juice and you don't need any specialized equipment. Let me know what you think.

I was wondering if, after you have used the blender, why don't you leave the seeds in the juice.
You could just spoon it out and eat the seeds, too. That sounds like a delicious way to eat it all,
with a spoon. Is that just as good a flavor than just drinking the juice?

Everyone is commenting on how you shouldn't use a paper towel, but he made this video so everyone could do it. Some of us don't have the luxury of buying "special" products just for making juice every now and then.. we use what we have around the house or can be used multiple ways.

The best way to open a pomegranate is to make two narrow circular cuts where the flower and the stem is, fill up a bowl of water, stick your thumbs in the holes and slowly break open under the water. Then break the seeds into the water, the seeds will sink and the peel will float. Strain and there you go.

Jennifer, you are right about Poms being pricey. However, this time of year the price comes down a little bit. I bought some smaller ones at the local Hispanic market, 2 for 99 cents. At one of the local chain stores they had them 4 for $5. So it is the time to look for these. When the price is down it means the product is plentiful and that usually means the quality is good. Produce is an ultimate "supply and demand" product.

I would prefer to eat the pulp for fiber. I have a great juicer and will , maybe, strain it with a coffee filter or cheesecloth...never a paper towel! I may make something with the pulp or just eat it plain. Idk yet. This should be amazing! Thanks!

I am doing it similarly. One difference is, that i only cut the outer part and the break the pomegranate in half, so I do not lose juice.
And then there is no need to peel the last seeds out. You just have to look where they are and then hit this parts on the back, because every single seed can be hitted out.

It's better to keep your hand under pomegranate while tapping on it instead of holding it from the top. It cleans more perfectly and at the end you don't have to dig in for remaining seeds.

never cut it in half guys you have to cut open the top and once you do that you will see the chambers of the fruit , you then want to cut into each chamber and fold back the skin to open the pomegranate. last just knock it out with a spoon or just suck all the seeds chamber by chamber.

This method of making your own pomegranate juice is the best, I suggest to cook the juice with the broken seeds together in microwave until boiling in order to extract the essence of the seeds out, which is the ingredient to cure prostate cancer and bladder incontinence. I drink pomegranate juice every morning, not at night or it would give me insomnia. My bladder is under control now, the juice also has viagra effect.

  • @TheHumbleDroog

You can also put the pods in a large ziplock bag, and roll over it with a rolling pin. Then, make a tiny hole in the corner and squirt it into a glass. Maybe not the most efficient way, but it's easy, and you shouldn't have to strain it.

Hello Ketrina. Thank you for asking the question. Those little red 'seeds' or as I like to call them, 'juice sacks' that are the part we eat in a Pomegranate are really called "Arils." The definition of an "Aril" is an outgrowth of, or a protective covering of a seed. With that delicious juice part around the seed, animals would come and eat the whole thing, and then deposit the seed somewhere else after it's gone through the animal's system. That way the plant is able to spread it's seeds all over the place. Interesting survival strategy. Feel free to ask any questions on things you don't understand here. Thanks for watching.
