A few tips I can give as a tyranitar main: use dark pulse a second earlier than you need to, the casting time is pretty long on it. When getting ready for a fight, you can hide in the grass and build up your shield with ancient power before going out. your ult does take time to cast which can leave you vulnerable, you can cast it in the grass before engageing with ancient power. In the ray fight, if your team is ripping, it's better for you to act as a wall between the enemy side and ray, you can last 1v3 long enough for your team to take it.
I would say a better combo is definitely hit with ancient power to stun, auto attack, immediately use the second half of ancient power, because the enemies will be stunned and lined up to hit as many as possible, and then use your dark pulse, because thats when the enemies will be trying to cc you, and dakrpulse comes out after you’ve pressed it no matter what, so you will basically waste their cc, also decent chance you’ll activate the stun if they are a squishy after all that damage Other tips, always use xspeed, and using it with your unite goes insanely well, people love to just run as soon as they see you stomping or ancient powering On that note, I love to use weakness policy, float stone, and charge charm, you get around the map trying to level up much faster, and can run down ranged attackers very effectively Edit: its situational for when people are meleeing you for an extended time, but you can activate dark pulse and immediately start holding down for ancient power and waste absolutely no time

Invade/ target ttar. Make it have a terrible early game and make it evolve at five minutes
Funnily enough, Tyranitar is my highest winrate however I run path and use Sandstorm and stone edge

Same here. I stay mid with Sandstorm & Stone Edge. This channel's rotation guide made me significantly more successful with that build.
