Wow! The algorithm is killing you. This should have millions of views. I doubt anyone on the planet can 3:25 perform this song so true to the recording, which is a timeless musical treasure.
You’re back with another classic gold! Been waiting patiently for your talents to spring again. Thank you for keeping the dream alive and sharing with us mortal folk, lol!
I was up in the bush of Alaska back in 1980. My brother sent me this album(tape) and I played it over and over again. This is such a great song and you folks covered it superbly!
@@stealingdan-sn6wv I’m not sure what you are asking. If I understand correctly, you are asking where in Alaska was I when I heard this Steely Dan album? I was at a remote Air Force station called Tatalina AFS just outside from a small native village called Takatna. I was a civilian working in the power plant. It was wild and rugged country and I loved it.
I was suggesting wherever one may have been, when a piece of music really strikes you, it causes a special memory of when and where you were at the time.
The pure musicianship of everyone in this band is amazing. From the lead singer to the backup singers..a class act. Definitely following and going to see them if ever playing in sw Florida.
Many things held this amazing song back from fame: run time, genre (where does it fit?) and a somber yet intriguing tonality that only true SD fans can run with.
Been waiting patiently for another upload from you guys....Absolutely spot on once again! Totally blown away......and those vocals; " you got to shake it...." SO tight! Good work ladies. Can't WAIT for more.👍

“where were you when you first heard ….” Is simply magic. Glad we could ring that bell!

Wow! Steely Dan is alive and well and sounding great!! Not my favorite Dan tune but you guys crushed it!! Mixed perfectly too. Outstanding!
Have to admit, enjoy grinding the mix almost as much as gigging the tunes!
Close your eyes, and you would have no idea this was not the original SD. Fantastic!
Happy to pass the blind test, Trevor! Big thx!

When are you touring 'Downunder'? 😄 I'm just being a bit facetious, however, I'd pay good money to see this live. Excellent.
When are you all doing a USA tour?
They shook it baby.
impeccable
Nice job ❤️✝️🇺🇸
This lead's got the best voice, etc! Where are they from?!
Lead vocalist, Stealing Dan co-founder Jim Papp, born and raised in Comox, BC. Who knew!
Precise!
You gotta shake it baby,
you gotta shake it baby,
you gotta shake it…
There’s more talent in the singers hands than the tripe being banded about today as “talent”.
Purdue Shuffle makes it
Whats up with the dude in the dress and fishnets?
Must be a DEI thing
Great back up vocals.
Slick horns too.
Appreciate both comments. Everyone in the band is digging in - it makes such a difference!
@@stealingdan-sn6wv Where are you guys based? You've got my dream tribute band project there. If you ever need a guitar sub please let me know.
