Thank you so much for everyone who has watched, left a like or commented! It's a pretty rough time out there right now and all my upcoming travel plans have been halted and I have self isolated myself due to mild symptoms.
Lots of people want a live stream so I shall see how I feel tonight!! 🙂
PsychoTraveller get better soon , we’re all in this together ❤️❤️❤️
Oh no, I hope you're ok Aly
Hi Im from Poland

@@yassinegamer7862 huh :p
Poznan is most beautiful and very comfortable city to live in Europe. I lived there for 3 years. Woow very nice to see and memorize the places after 11 years. I love Poland
yea without trees it's similar to desert you are comming from
My grandfather was born in Poznan late 1800s came to the U.S. early 1900 . Very interesting !
Poznań is my hometown. This is the Wielkopolska region (Greater Poland Voivodeship). This is where Poland was born. The first rulers of the country are buried in Ostrów Tumski (Cathedral Island). In the dialect of this region is the word "pyra". 'Pyra' means potato. The rest of Poland calls this region "Pyrland" in slang. "Pyra with Gzik" is a traditional dish XD It's a large baked or boiled potato served with butter and curd. This curd is with a dash of onion, chives or dill. This is "Gzik". This dish is similar to jacket potatoes XD
Ostrów Tumski in Wroclaw?
@@martianwalker31 No. Ostrów Tumski in Poznań. "Ostrów" means an islet in Old Polish. "Tum" means cathedral, church. That is why the name Ostrów Tumski is in several cities.
@@yakeosicki8965 wow, thanks, I've lived in Wroclaw for about 6 months and had no idea what that actually means
Poznan really seems like a terrific place to see! Love the old buildings and architecture. Nice lake too. Museums were so interesting too! Brilliant! Thanks for sharing and for the entertainment! 🤪
I knew it, I have traveled through Poland, but to clarify, only through the internet I have never left my country, and the one I liked the most is Poznan, its transport system, which I love and am fascinated by, the trains, it is as a place you would love to explore and you always find something special, thank you very much for sharing and take care of yourself
Poznań is beautiful 😍💪‼️
So dreamy 🥰 adding this to my 2021 backpacking route!
Believe me you'll love it !!! ;*
Loved this!!! Such a cool series idea 😎
Next time you've got to try Poznan's traditional St Martin croissants! And I highly recommend going to the 'Rogalowe Muzeum' which is a museum with a live presentation of croissants making and a bit of history. They have shows in English as well, you'll love it!
I'm not even joking, I've stayed in the same apartament! Sw.Wojciecha right?! I saw this and literally screamed internally.
This was lovely Aly! Sure seems like a hidden gem! That 3-D mural is jaw dropping! Tell you what, this world seems to be going bonkers at the moment and it's even more awesome seeing you. Sorry that your plans have been put on hold and you're needing to self isolate. Ugh. Feel better soon hon! Thank you for doing this!
Let it remain underrated. I like it that way.
Poznan is where my family is from 💕
Looks like a relaxing place to visit. Like you can just casually explore and not have to worry about overcrowding or rushing around to see everything.
I hope you plan on continuing this series someday. It looks like we'll be spending a lot of time in Europe next year, and we're definitely eager to explore the smaller, less-popular hidden gems :)
Museums..yes interesting. Architecture..yes lovely. Town square..yes attractive. Seems a good place to maybe go. Sees kebab and chips.... I LOVE THAT, I WANT THEM I HAVE TO GO TO POZNAN! Best Wishes Aly look after yourself. 💕
Cool video! For a Polish guy who has lived in the UK for the past 15 years it always looks interesting (and surprising) to see how people react when they visit Poland. Love your commentary- I don't know why but I feel like I know you. Must be the way you talk to a camera. Anyway I hope you liked exploring the city. I love it. I used to go to college there :)
So you know, złoty is pronounced zwoter and Wrocław is pronounced vrotswav. an "ł" is like a "w", a "w" is like a "v" and a "c" is like a "ts". The "r" is a rolling "r" so it's kinda like an "lr"
Looks like a really cool city to visit especially in summer around the lake. Love cities not on the typical tourist radar.
I was thinking of going to Poznan or Wroclaw (Pronounced Vwotz wav) so now definitely going to go a 2 days in October. Cheap flights out of Liverpool too
Wroclaw is a great place for a couple of days, beautiful city centre, friendly locals and tons of great bars and restaurants. Was there in 2018 and would go back anytime.
Great to see you out and about again, loving all the vlogs though xx
Pozzed in Poznan would also be a great title for a future video. Bonus opportunity. Safe travels!
Baha! Darn
I first visited there in 2002. I see a lot has changed since then 👌🏾.
Absolutely love that city ❤️
beautiful museums ! and the streets, the buildings :)
What a brilliant video! Very well put together and so interesting. Looking forward to more of your trips 👏👏
Wroclaw was a real surprise. I haven't seen all your vids, but definitely worth a visit if you haven't been.
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
Looks a great place to visit, and even better if open
Love your montages!
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I went there in 2011 and had a great time--- wonderful people, food, and sights.
Lots love from India
I loved it. That museum where you could try uniform and gun? My husband would go crazy for it.
Thanks for this video, I’m gonna be moving to poznan in about a year or so to finish my pilot training, glad poznan is lovely lol
yeee !!! new video !!!!
Food for thought for spring time travels. Love the look of that market square.
Looks lovely.
thanx for the Video , i am at friday for three days in Poznan. Your Video helps a little :-)
Love the touch of voiceover x
I've never seen a video of yours before and loved this as off to Poznan next week just because I can. I do wish you'd told us, the viewer, what time of year...and even the year this was filmed in. I'm watching late September 2022. Cheers!
Great work as ever. Poznan is tricky to get too cheaply as there are few places in the UK with direct flights but it's worth it.
Late to the party but flying into poznan cos it's cheaper than flying directly to Berlin from Edinburgh. Will spend a few days eating and drinking here. Looks good. 😊
Hey Aly just thought I'd watch your Poznan video again because after 6 years of full-time travel (over it lol) I obtained Polish citizenship by descent earlier this year so I'm now planning to settle for a year in Poland (or perhaps longer). Poznan is on my list because of it being on the more affordable side so here we are!
It's lovely video I'm from Poznań originally and living in Cardiff last 17 years. I'll be back to Poznań at May 31.22 for good. I missing my friends, the Polish traditions, Polish food,Polish dentists. Thank you very much for grate video! Stay safe.
I’m going to Poznań tomorrow for a week!
Where can I get one of those triangular necklaces that you were wearing in the final scene?
That railway at the Malta Lake leads to a great Zoo by the way. Thx for sharing your thoughts and video of my beloved city. I miss it .
Lol I just moved to Poznań. What timing you have
I already live in Poland 7 years cause I'm seven-3-
How do you like it so far, Mike?
Thank you for another great vlog. Does anyone know if krakow is as card friendly? I am planning to go and be good not to take cash.
I just subscribed your channel and watch old video when i have free time , good job
I'm going to explore The whole country of POLAND. Considering it's really affordable , clean, etc. First on my list this Sunday is GDANSK. First week of December POZNAN . Filipino from Finland. 😀
Poznań is the capital of the Greater Poland region. You nicely explained the rules of driving on the streets. The fact is that when the traffic lights are red for pedestrians, Poles wait patiently because signalized crossings often have monitoring and Poles like to pay fines. At pedestrian crossings without signals, pedestrians always have priority as long as they do not step into the crossing abruptly. As for prices, it is actually very cheap for foreigners because the prices are adjusted to the earnings of Poles. But I haven't seen you taste a croissant typical of this region, which is traditionally eaten on St. Marcina - a croissant with almond flour. On a weekday, not all restaurants are open until noon because people are working, and on Sunday everything is closed except for confectioneries and a few cafes so that trade people can rest a little and be with their families.😄
Brussels is underrated as well i know it gets a bad rap but i like it
Looks nice there, details on the airnb would've been a nice touch..
Oh my bad! Sorry! Link added! 🙂🙂
@@PsychoTraveller Cheers ;)
What mic are you using to record sound... Could you share the link
Krakow my home !!! 💕💕💕 waiting for video !!!
Can't wait to visit!
Hi Ally, can you do a vid on how the current world crisis affects travel and travel vlogs?
I first visited there in 2002. I see a lot has changed since then 👌🏾
I'm off to Poland for 5 weeks and will be spending 2 weeks here, it looks so beautiful!
How was your trip?
@@MaryJaneJones. it was amazing! I extended my time there to 10 weeks and traveled all over Poland that summer. I didn't spend much time in Poznan however but I'll be back in Poland in no time
Hi lovely blog can you suggest where did u stay seems ur place was right in old town ..also can you list restaurant name where u visited please
Good Luck ♥️♥️♥️
Is it worth going there from Berlin? And is there much to do?
I am visiting Poznan this easter. Thanks for the nice tips :) Any idea on where to get souvenirs? And anything related to Holocaust?
My biggest problem in travel is I have multiple food allergies. Did they addvertise any gluten-free shell fish ...
My paternal grandmother was born in Poznan
I will be coming Oct for MSC in that city, hope i can get part time job to support my self
I will go to Poland for grain machine sale, is there someone like to be my interpreter or tour guide?
This was a great video! Started off on the crazy landlord vid from five years ago, went straight to the follow up vidz. He was more of a psycho that you tbh. Then this video, woow Poznan looks and sounds amazing and super cheap. I'm gunna have to subscribe. Legend!
can you post the link of the airbnb???
Done! Sorry! 🙂🙂
nice
What's a looge?
Poland to close borders to foreigners from Sunday. Coronavirus :/
That's a wise thing to do, what UK's government does is just unbelievable, what a negligence.
What is that tune at the beginning
Good luck
I'm living in Australia and next day I take a flight to Poznan - not a lie, but a truth. Maybe I want to see what happens. Conditions are - must have some recorded art with girls I flip over and then I come here and all the Valdrakken cloud comes here with me and is shown to viewers/watchers who have phones and take a picture. We aren't building our stage here. Clothing is big part of what you try to say. These buildings are in some game and we will say - we don't play. Maybe you have these parks in Nida or Maybe it's castle of Vilnius too too too. Receipts are scandalous and that 1950 will be something we want come back to having some visions and poetic Wayrest Manor poem with a roots, - Australians are good explorers.
im polish and thats not underrated u must go to orneta :( i live there the city is amazing
nice to you
How much for apartment
Where's the place in between minutes 11:30-12:30? I'll be going to Poznan in 10th of Feb, I'd like to take my daughter there xx
Nice
Lovely 😊 looking forward to more in this series! Also, unrelated but am curious how you are dealing with this corona virus. Will you be internationally travelling in the next month or two , or have you decided to stay put ? My Middle East trip this month got cancelled ( understandably) which was gutting at first , now I have decided not to book any other trip until this has all calmed down ! Probably won’t start looking at trips till summer, if it’s calmed down by then :s
I've actually self isolated as I'm presenting mild symptoms! I'm alright though, but better to be safe and would hate to put people at risk. All travel plans have been halted!
i think it might be Pristina
Also you're looking beautiful, stay blessed 😍
Beautiful .But seem to have being rebuilt .
Really nice you got to Poznań, love that city. But taking into concideration what is going on all over Europe and world it is a bit irresposible to travel right now...
The officials say where you can travel to and where not to. But i am sure you know it better than scientists
@@ihatethenet8823 There is no scientist saying is ok to travel ANYWHERE now. They say we should commute only when we have to.
Btw. officials DOESN'T EQUAL TO scientist
Agree, just hope she uploaded the video today but was there before
@@ihatethenet8823 the officials say completely the opposite. Our government is already doing check ups on the borders, I guess closing the borders is also being considered. I am a wanderer myself, but just travelling at this time is just irresponsible.
let's do this !!!
I'm here to learn English 😃
poznan polan power slavic power
Amen sista!
1st to like 👍
too may ads but i am not complaining
Great video! There are no homeless people in Polish cities :) .....yes I know...if someone comes from western europe can be shocked. Don't watched tv and belive BBC propaganda, come and experience this beautiful, friendly and developed country. Many of you will be surprised. I just came back to Poland from UK after many years because standard of living is better here.
Ay, I've got family well close to poznan
Edit: BRO YOU TRAVEL FROM BHAM AS WELL
Edit 2: OMG U USED THE AIRLINE I DO AS WELL
Nice video but a better camera is in order
PozNAN LPH 🥊🥊
You are make a really good video ,all is good but i think food quality is very poor in Poland
Polska
Yeah your rigth..!!
Polish cities are, like, all of them
Hi.................
Very nice video! When visiting another city or country, every educated person must visit a museum. Visiting museums is very useful and fascinating. A love for the "eternal" and "beautiful" is awakened in a person, the beginnings of greatness and respect for history are inculcated. It is impossible to turn the excursion into something banal, ordinary and boring. The person should be a comprehensively developed person, cultured, educated, critically and analytically thinking, with knowledge of foreign languages. It is the knowledge of a foreign language that opens wide prospects for a person to realize his/her creative potential, career and financial growth. I would like to recommend the practical training course by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language", where you can find lots of useful information how to learn a foreign language quickly. Learn a foreign language and realize your creative potential on an international scale! The international community needs creative ideas! Thanks to the author of the channel for a very fascinating tour!
