    Is it me, or does the speed appear to be wavering? (I don't have this roll, so I can't check for myself...)

      I'd assume a machine using (paper) tape that's over 90 years old would have a bit of an issue with wow and flutter.

      @@wolffpup245 Technically it is not wow or flutter, since unlike an analogue recording, the pitch on a stringed instrument does not vary with tempo.
      Although a piano is a percussion instrument, the same still applies.

    I wondered why this song made me so happy until I realized it was sung by a bunch of depressed soldiers trying to feel a little better in their world of unending violence and misery
