With good lighting/proper editing software you can still get some epic shots and serves a purpose in the world of FPV.

If I was an enterprising FPV frame designer, I would consider making a frame that could mount the electronics of this drone. Lighter weight, higher durability, it would be a good performance upgrade, and an option for people who inevitably use up their care refresh to possibly give their busted drone a new lease on life without spending $750 for a whole new one.

Edit, I found the rules. Apparently if you are using FPV goggles you must have a “spotter” or designated person to watch your drone to make sure it never goes out of line of sight.

Its almost like it dropped radio signal but kept video for some odd reason and i wish i could say it only happened temporarily i cant even say that for sure because it really only took 1-2 seconds of that issue happening before it was smashed to pieces to the point where im left having to buy replacement everything pretty much. Its crazy to me that your basically describing what 100% also happened to me. @@psykoonthestreet8640 lol not quite it was repaired under warranty due to a sensor failure while in manual, but it handles like crap it’s too tall and then silly landing feet catch on the floor and flip it over , I wanted it to be good but try and do a decent dive without getting a ton of jello when you power out of it it’s heavy underpowered and the camera is just ok. Not as good as GoPro and my cheap 5 inch takes a hell of a beating. Only good thing is the range on 2.4 is much better then v1 . Ps I do have dji care 👍

@@glen7463 I can appreciate that input, Glen. I do agree a lot with what you're saying, however, I do feel like it's a fun enough FPV drone. TBH, I don't think it's worth the price, but, you get the goggles, and controller with it, so I get DJI's shtick. On the DJI website, the drone alone sells for around 760$. I def would not spend 760 if buying this drone solo. And you're right about the weight, its pretty heavy, and feels bloated when even in normal or sport mode. Seems very "floaty". I hadn't made the jump to Digital goggles, so it was kind of worth it for me as I got the V2 goggles with them. Now, I just need to figure out if I want to run Caddx, or DJI's air unit on my builds

Carbon fiber frame. I’m with ya there.. the power? I live in a place with high elevation where oxygen is thinner and even in those conditions. I never have a problem with power. The one and only issue I have is the process to replace an arm. The soldering. The full unbuild process. They need to develop the vers 2.0 with quick assembly/disassembly parts for rapid redeployment. That’s the number one issue with quads from dji. Even I have replacement arms with motors on them with 3 prong connectors ready to install and go

The Geo thing is your irresponsibility, cause you have a map on the DJI app that tells you where and how big the Geo coverage is. Don’t you fpv guys are supposed to scout your flying trips?
I live in Puerto Rico where there is a lot of airports and that means I have a lot of Geo near me... but that doesn’t mean I can’t take off with precautions... I just log into DJI Fly safe, look for where I’m flying and ask for an instant permission. Which I get 3 seconds away from applying the permit.
