Visited the Luke gas station in Hammond this afternoon and highly disagree. I found this part of town to be beautiful and welcoming. I didn't feel the need to flee to my vehicle as my family of 7 used the gas station bathroom. At no time did I feel like my car was going to be stolen, nor did I have to look over my shoulder as I was buckling my kids into their car seats. I'm a plumber out of Indianapolis and have traveled to the majority of the cities for work and lived in this state whole life and confirm about 80 percent of these claims
I have grown to love NWI. We have all 4 seasons, generally without weather extremes (maybe a weak tornado every few years.) It's affordable and people are friendly. You can enjoy life in a quiet farming community, yet the drive to Chicago is less than 45 minutes away. Or, head east and hit the Indiana Dunes National Park. Very diverse and lots to do here.
I'm from Chicago, I grew up in Michigan City. You showed it in the beginning but I'm surprised it's not on the list. For those who don't know Michigan City was actually ranked number one in most dangerous cities in Indiana in 2021 December.
And it has the most crooked local government. Steal land from the poor to make a playground for the rich! Just another tourist trap town with low wages, high utilities, and very and going higher rent!
I WAS BORN IN MUNCIE, RAISED UP IN INDIANAPOLIS, LIVED 15 YEARS IN ANDERSON: I'M 69 AND I LIVE IN ALABAMA NOW. I'VE BEEN TO A LOT OF DIFFERENT CITIES AND STATES AND ONE THING I'VE LEARNED, IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO WHAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE THAT YOU HAVE WHEN YOU'RE THERE, IF YOU HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE IT'S A GOOD PLACE IF YOU HAVE A BAD ONE IS NOT ‼️
i was born and raised in indianapolis. i was the first hoosier born in my family who were transplanted kentuckians who came to indy to find work. we never traveled further north of indianapolis so i really know nothing about northern indiana. i remember going fishing in linton with my uncle. i attended indiana university in bloomington (which by the way is a beautiful city to live) and taught a year in ‘77-‘78, then moved to atlanta ga in ‘78. why? the weather. growing up with cold and snowy winters didn’t bother me as i hadn’t known any difference but the blizzards of ‘77 and ‘78 really did me in hence the moving to atlanta. i’ve visited indy many times since living here and have noticed that many places i was acquainted with had gone downhill. the neighborhood i grew up in, the elementary and high school areas, and even the neighborhood movie theaters i visited were in shambles, torn down, or converted to something else. such a shame. i still call myself a hoosier even though i’ve lived in atlanta for 43 years and still bbq chicken while enjoying the 500 mile race. and by the way, if you have ever spent a winter in the south, you’ll never want to go back north. ha.
Wrong! I came back. The winters are not as rough as I remember... much milder... and Atlanta and Tampa are not too far apart regarding heat in summer. Wayyyy too hot from May through October! Don't miss it at all! Lived in Tampa Bay for 15 years. It has radically changed for the worst, sadly.
I think most of us who experienced it remember where we were during the blizzard of 78. I have moved to several other states but always came back to Indiana. Born and grew up in Southern Indiana. Lots of good memories ❤️
EC/GI/HMD born and raised! Proud to be from da region. All those times in the hood really made me into who I am today. Never give up! If I made it out, anybody can if things line up enough. Semper Fidelis!
In my opinion Anderson is not that bad, I have family that used to live there and live close to there and it doesn’t have that much crime. If anything Muncie should be on here.
I grew up in East Chicago and it was a wonderful place when I was growing up. It makes me sad to see these cities so run down and unsafe. I live in Porter County now and it's nice here. What's even sadder than Indiana is Chicago. Every morning on the news we get a lively report of how many deaths occurred overnight. It's so depressing!!
East Chicago used to be such a nice city years ago, same as Gary was back in the 60’s (as I’m told by parents). Sadly East Chicago just had a double homicide right on Main Street yesterday in the middle afternoon as an SUV was ambushed with about 30-40 rounds shot into the vehicle. So very sad. Lake Station has actually improved in the last recent year or so. As far as people “not wanting to work”, that isn’t quite true. Northwest Indiana has a large amount of Veterans & people that suffer with Chronic Pain so the cold, damp weather definitely does not help. Since the government decided to play doctor & decide who can be treated for pain management and what dosage is allowed using a “same for all” MME opioid conversion table, it has caused many people who want & need to work, no longer be able to. Veterans who fought for our country, fought for our freedom, have lost limbs, were blown up, shot, have PTSD and suffer with severe chronic pain were completely refused all pain management from the VA Hospitals due to the CDC & FDA changing their “suggestive” guidelines, but go after legitimate Doctors who try to help those patients who truly need the help & have a long term medical history. I’ve watched many patients who could function with pain management, now be bedridden, unable to work, have no quality of life and quite a few have turned to trying anything to get out of pain & turn to suicide as a last resort. This has caused a drastic increase in unemployment, overdoses & our suicide rate has drastically increased in this region.
No, Indiana is depressing it sucks most of the time, there are good folks there, Chicago is where we went to experience true culture and amazing food. Indiana is known for its crack and weed.
Oh my gosh, the video is great but even if 90% of it wasn’t great it was still worth it to see just to hear your special version of that song at the end!
Notre Dame Football. If you must live in northern Indiana... Mishawaka is a veritable oasis. Elkhart is a shell of its old self but has some vestiges of attractiveness. Angola is fine.

I hear a lot of glittering generalities, here. My experience with living in So. IN., was quite different from living on the west coast. A great cultural interaction...much richer than on the ends'. For those who are missing a sense of community, the more cohesive smaller towns harken back to a time of less superficiality, less consumerism, etc., and quite attractive for those seeking a traditional sense of community.
AKA if you don't want to have to be fake every second of you life and or be judged as a person by how many likes you have on Facebook. There still are places you can live that haven't be ruined by "modern society "
Ha, South Bend is a hellhole... you're just biased from living there. The crime and drugs don't even compare down here in Muncie... and Muncie isn't much smaller. Actually, when Ball State is in session, our population grows to nearly that of South Bend.
How long has it been since you lived there? I had to make a delivery to South Bend when Pete was mayor and that place was a hell hole! Houses were boarded up everywhere and someone set the University on fire.

South Bend is so drabby and depressing to me, possibly moreso than Gary and EC. I haven't gone often (I live relatively close) but what's sad to me is downtown South Bend has so much potential for entertainment and nightlife, but it's just......dead. I would love to see it turn around though.
As someone born and raised in Hammond, I didn't even think it was that bad... Also, I work at the bird sanctuary and am only 50 feet away from it right now!
@@wardaledillard8553 I am afraid you are wrong my friend. I am a resident of North Hammond and have been here my entire life. Surely you have taken a drive through Downtown and seen the state it's in? or central hammond and its rundown streets and surrounding slums?
From Southern Indiana-thanks for not picking on us! Unloved part of the State! I-69 plans were started in the 70’s to make it easier to travel from Evansville to Indianapolis but was fought tooth and nail by the Northern half of the state! Still working on it in 2021!
Love your videos Nate but South Bend, IN may have its issues but there's a lot to appreciate there as well. You have access to the Michigan wine vineyards and wine festivals, you have Notre Dame athletic venues, easy train access to Chicago museums, shopping and sports venues, You have some fine dining restaurants and bars in South Bend, a pretty active live music scene and low housing prices. You just have to avoid certain areas. Just my 2 cents. Keep up the good work.
@blacklechter I just got a fellowship and might be moving there. Would you be able to give me a short list of neighborhoods/areas I should avoid? Would so appreciate an unbiased picture of what I could be getting into.
Thank you for this video. I work in the South Loop and have had enough of Illinois finally. I’m glad you mentioned the good places in the end. That helps my search.
Every state has towns you wouldn't want to live in. Not sure when this was taped or year of statistics, some are just incorrect. I have lived in Northern and Southern California, Atlanta, St Louis, Lansing, Michigan, as well as Indianapolis, Muncie, Upland, and Rockville, Indiana as well as traveled for several years in my jobs. Sorry if you had a bad experience in Indiana.
I have been living in Palm Beach County for 18 years. Besides from the beautiful hot climate and the ocean and State Parks and relatively tax friendly policies the transient nature and combined with gated communities can increase your anxiety and pump up alienation.
I was born & raised in South Bend IN I now live in Northeast North Dakota in the middle of nowhere minutes from the Canadian border & it’s Muuuuuuch better. So yeah. I’ll just share this video for anyone wondering why I love living in the North Pole, I haven’t seen any roaches in the last 10 years. I do miss Notre Dame games, Frankie’s ribs, & my family. Interesting fact, most of us love the Chicago teams over the Indy ones.
I'd lump some of those northern dumps together to make room for places like Logansport, it's a run down pile of misery and poverty. I moved out 20 years ago
And let's not forget Kokomo. The downtown looks pretty good, but not as spectacular as the price of doing all that crap. Much of the housing is overpriced, ,dilapidated, and owned by some absentee investor from California. A lot of the natives and long time residents have moved out into the county or out of Indiana entirely. The residents who escaped were replaced with thugs from Chicago, or worse than that, the clowns who move here from out-of-state who moan and complain about everything and vote for the same type of schmucks who ran the state that they moved from into the ground.
The same with Salem in the Southern part of the state. Salem has a poverty rate of 25 percent and Washington County 18 percent. The drug problem in Salem is off the charts like a lot of Indiana towns and cities.
@@jacie9799 my brother-in-law lives southeast of Lafayette in Newton. They go to Lafayette regularly and tell me that it is turning into a shithole. It's just hard to imagine such a decent city only 2 or 3 decades ago going down the crapper that fast.
I mean, south hammond isn't too bad because of pnw. as is the rule of thumb for the entire region, the farther north you get, the worse it is, unless you're Whiting, Griffith, or Lowell, the three exceptions (from my experience anyways)
idk i stay in hessville and just in hessville alone its alot of crime. and on the east side it’s pretty bad, almost had our house broken into, my friends brother got robbed walking to school, i got robbed tryna sell something, one of my childhood friends is facing life in prison for a homicide,my other friend got held at gun point in the marathon on 169th,etc. 🤦♂️ hammond definitely not what yall say it was no more. i done experienced to much out here.
I grew up in Northwest Indiana, Hammond. I have a lot of wonderful memories there but it’s a shell of its former self. The decline in culture and economic opportunities is of epic proportion. To say it’s a depressing area is an understatement.
Imma pause here at Clarksville, I dont think Texas Roadhouse started in Clarksville Ind... Maybe its the first one in Indiana but IDK so let me google it...He is most definitely correct wow I didnt even know that and Im from the Hoosier state!
You are right about the North suburbs of Indianapolis. Those are good areas to live in. There is a push to make Broad Ripple nice. But it is more ideal for young couples and college kids. It still is in the IPS district which has horrible schools.
I grew up in Terre Haute and from a very young age I knew the Hoosier state wasn't for me. I graduated h.s., joined the Army and only went back to visit family.
Terre haute is the city I live in now. If it was violent back then it isn't now. I am able to take a nice long walk and not be bothered by anyone also the streets are clean. I used to live in Bloomington Indiana and that city is rough. You need to carry a weapon with you in that city.
Nailed it 👍 I agree. Unfortunately for me I live in Muncie Indiana and it is so hard to move due to low real estate prices. I want to move to Colorado and it is hard to trade a nice home for a 1 bedroom condo in Pueblo! You are so right about Indiana and Walmart and the Colts. One of the only places in America I have felt truly uneasy is when I drove through downtown Gary out of curiosity and realized I hadn't fixed my driver side door lock
Grew up in Indiana…lived in Cali for 25 years. Cali beats Indiana in spades. No comparison. Diversity, sunshine, mountains, beach, desert, etc. But, loved my time in Bloomington. Only place that is decent in Indiana.
Other than weather, I don't think that the northern part of the state is that bad at all. There are some cities with higher crime, but Evansville also has some problems with crime. There are some really beautiful, quiet, and quaint towns in Northern Indiana: LaPorte, Rolling Prairie, LaGrange, Middlebury, and on and on. The bottom line is that there are good and bad parts all over the state... and in all states, for that matter.
I live in the northern part, my city was literally shown at 0:28 but somehow nkt talked about in the video lol. Like they took down am old school and turned it into a police station, now there's shootings even more in that area by random people. There's a big teddy bear at a liquor store where someone got shot
Hammond and most of what we refer to as “The Region” used to be really nice. It was full of working class Polish Catholic families but they all got ran out in the last 30ish years. Those who remained out bars in their windows. Honestly I’m pretty sure that’s where the inspiration for Grand Torino came from. Lol
I grew up in Northern Indiana, about 20 miles south of South Bend. I have lived and worked in many other places, Oklahoma, Texas, but now I call Indiana my home. Funny story, I went back to my 20th High School reunion, one of my classmates became a teacher, and took a job in Mooresville, IN, about 20 miles SW of Indy, on his first day of school there, he asked his student to say something interesting about Mooresville, one of the comments was- " we have the largest membership in the KU Klux Clan here" lol
I live in eastern part of Greene Co and your right, it's terrible. The peace and quite the rolling hills the fog in the valley in the moring hearing the rooster crow watching the deer run through fields just awful.
Wow, kinda surprised that this state has so many pockets of poverty and crime... At least you used a melody from a Jefferson Starship song as your good bye song, that was cool☺ Thanks Nick🎆
I’ve lived in Fort Wayne my whole life and I have to say his entire list is completely accurate if you want a great place to live FW is hard to beat, cheap real estate, good infrastructures and the city is constantly growing. We also have good schools and a wide variety of entertainment and restaurants! I’ve always wanted to move away because indiana is indiana but I know that I can easily see myself coming back once I settle down.
Fort Wayne native and it has some fine neighborhoods. So cheap. But after 30 years in the Bay Area not sure I could give up the natural beauty and the weather. When it is not on fire at least. But damn the real estate prices…
I myself am a Fort Wayne native. Like every city there are spots that can use extra attention. It's growing and new job opportunities are being made available rapidly. An Amazon delivery warehouse was just built in our city.

I’ve lived in south bend Indiana for about 9 years now... compared to other places I’ve lived it’s really not that bad... I was born and raised in Lafayette Indiana which oddly never makes any bad lists and it should... but it doesn’t have the stigma that places like Gary and its surrounding areas do. I’ve lived in a few different states and multiple cities within those states... from Milwaukee Wisconsin to Manchester New Hampshire... they’re all the same... you can go to any city in any state and easily drive around and find what looks like a shitty part of town. Something I learned while looking for a place to live in Milwaukee is look at the cars parked on the street and in driveways... just because the area and houses are run down doesn’t mean it’s a bad place to live. I’ve used that tip I learned from a Milwaukee landlord every time I’ve moved, and it rings true to this day. And believe it or not there’s only 1 Walmart in south bend and it may as well be in Michigan.
@@Inmanfarm I was just mentioning that because I’ve lived in both for a good chunk of time and Lafayette is no different than South Bend... hell until mayor Pete ran for potus nobody even knew where South Bend was, even people from Indiana... before then you’d have to mention Notre Dame. I grew up in S Indiana on a farm. Lived four years in W Lafayette (Boiler UP), then three years in Johnson County just south of Indy, while working in downtown. Traveled the entire state while working that job. That was forty years ago. I gained an appreciation for many of our state's little towns. I now live where I grew up, and love this state. Connersville and Linton are hardly an exception to the plight of many small towns throughout America. Drugs, declining industry and sub-par schools are sadly becoming a national norm. For the record, I worked many years with several Linton residents and they were great people.
Why do you keep yelling at people for not working?!? It’s likely that they cannot find a job because no one is actually hiring or they don’t feel like working 80 hours a week to just pay their bills, if places paid more, the “labor shortage” would be solved overnight.
Can't believe Elkhart isn't on this list. No matter where one lives in Indiana, the ENTIRE state is a boring with no major attractions, low paying jobs, and meth labs everywhere.

I have lived in Indiana for 69 years and we only have two places you need to stay away from. Indianapolis/Marion co. and Gary, besides this the rest of the state is small towns and farming. As for Indy the worst part is inside interstate 465 the areas outside are a little better. Some people point to North Vernon and Evansville, but they are nothing compared to Indianapolis and Gary.

There's a huge gap between northern and southern Indiana in culture. Southern Indiana was settled from the Ohio River, so it is much like Kentucky. Northern Indiana was settled from New York and Pennsylvania, so it is more like Michigan
@@paulbrower4265 I remember taking an Indiana Studies class and it talked about the same thing you mentioned above. The northern part of the state being settled by easterns and the southern part settled by southerns. When the confederacy invaded Indiana under Morgan's raiders he thought there was enough "Copperheads" (southern sympathizers) in southern Indiana that he could just get new mounts and provisions wherever he wanted. That wasn't the case. The home militas fought back, but they were made up of old men so most retreated. But i've had people tell me I have a slight southern accent while in Indianapolis and I don't live that far away. Just interesting stuff.
You left out Indianapolis. the armpit of Indiana. Homicides are through the roof. I only live here because I work here, and my house is south of Indianapolis in the countryside. In Indianapolis they don't pave the streets, they just fill the potholes and consider newly painted lines to be the resurfacing job. For those who don't know Michigan City was actually ranked number one in most dangerous cities in Indiana in 2021 December.
I agree. When I saw the beginning video I figured Michigan City would be number 2. I still think it should be. It's the miniature version of Gary.
I’m a actually surprised myself Michigan city didn’t make the list. Pretty hairy out there.
And it has the most crooked local government. Steal land from the poor to make a playground for the rich! Just another tourist trap town with low wages, high utilities, and very and going higher rent!

i was born and raised in indianapolis. i was the first hoosier born in my family who were transplanted kentuckians who came to indy to find work. we never traveled further north of indianapolis so i really know nothing about northern indiana. i remember going fishing in linton with my uncle. i attended indiana university in bloomington (which by the way is a beautiful city to live) and taught a year in ‘77-‘78, then moved to atlanta ga in ‘78. why? the weather. growing up with cold and snowy winters didn’t bother me as i hadn’t known any difference but the blizzards of ‘77 and ‘78 really did me in hence the moving to atlanta. i’ve visited indy many times since living here and have noticed that many places i was acquainted with had gone downhill. the neighborhood i grew up in, the elementary and high school areas, and even the neighborhood movie theaters i visited were in shambles, torn down, or converted to something else. such a shame. i still call myself a hoosier even though i’ve lived in atlanta for 43 years and still bbq chicken while enjoying the 500 mile race. and by the way, if you have ever spent a winter in the south, you’ll never want to go back north. ha.

I grew up in East Chicago and it was a wonderful place when I was growing up. It makes me sad to see these cities so run down and unsafe. I live in Porter County now and it's nice here.

I grew up in Los Angeles. I've lived in Noblesville for the 15 years now. I agree with that entire statement!

I'd lump some of those northern dumps together to make room for places like Logansport, it's a run down pile of misery and poverty. I moved out 20 years ago
Same with Frankfort

As a Hoosier I have to say, I'm glad I live in the southern part of the state.Crime is a problem everywhere so that's no surprise.
Central Indiana is perfect

Why should Lafayette be on the bad list? We had property west of there and have friends and family in LAF, also. Seems decent to me
@@Inmanfarm I was just mentioning that because I’ve lived in both for a good chunk of time and Lafayette is no different than South Bend... hell until mayor Pete ran for potus nobody even knew where South Bend was, even people from Indiana... before then you’d have to mention Notre Dame. You can't compare Lafayette to south bend. Lafayette is way better . Born and raised there. I live in south bend now and the crime is unbelievable.
@@hailboognish81 mayor Pete never ran for POTUS. He is too young to run.
Hoosier!

Hey Nick, loved the video…very accurate. The song at the end fits the state too 👍🏼😘

Gary is actually getting better little by little
I heard a lot of hipsters are moving in and flipping all the old houses. They're trying to breathe back life into the city.
@@BeeKool__113 they are rebuilding slowly but surely though I have not seen any hipsters. Thank the ghetto God. 😂
Exactly
Why do you keep yelling at people for not working?!? It’s likely that they cannot find a job because no one is actually hiring or they don’t feel like working 80 hours a week to just pay their bills, if places paid more, the “labor shortage” would be solved overnight.
Can't believe Elkhart isn't on this list.
No matter where one lives in Indiana, the ENTIRE state is a boring with no major attractions, low paying jobs, and meth labs everywhere.
Is that the arm pit of indiana? I think my boy from the army was from there.
What, Muncie didn't make the list? Had to be #11 then.
Munice sounds like an offbrand version of munich 😂😂
@@deutschelehrer69 It’s Muncie, not Munice!
@@ramboeastwood1522 I've driven through Marion a couple of times. The Rte. 9 "shopping corridor" seems pretty vibrant. They have an active GM plant (though I've never seen a full parking lot, as I'm usually passing through on the weekend). The few residential areas I've seen looked okay. - I would be curious to know what the "negatives" to the town are.
I have lived in Muncie for 4 years and I just don't see, Neill. Crime is actually not high. The schools suck, jobs suck (if you don't have an education), and the roads suck. Other than it's small issues, Muncie isn't a bad place to live. And, I am not biased, since I am not from Indiana. You want to see bad, go to Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, or Grand Rapids, Michigan... even Anderson doesn't compare to those places.
@@andrewcutler4513, drive into downtown Marion at 3am and then take a walk, lol. I walk all over Muncie at night and have never had an issue. The crime and drug use rates are crazy high in Marion.
I was born in South Bend, then when i was 2 moved to mississippi. I only live with my dad part time, but i helped him move back this up here this week, so im currently living in south bend. The areas ive been around looks very similar to Memphis TN, and not to mention how different most stuff is from the south. the roundabouts are new, and the amount of people disobeying traffic laws too lol
I currently live in Mishawaka it's right next to South Bend. Its a decent town with a major shopping area. Indiana is cheap because it's economical depress.
I live in Mishawaka too… they just had a shooting in Granger, I heard 5 people was shot!! And Granger is supposed to be the safer place to live in this area.. no safe places left
I am moving to that area in 2 months, been going back and forth between Mishawaka and Granger! Coming from Vegas, so it’s definitely a change! Thanks for the info 🙂
born and raised in Muncie (1955-1972). you were spot on Muncie (next to Anderson) is a mirror image of Anderson only larger LOL
I live in Noblesville I am glad I love hear because it is always so chill more safe school are nice 👍🏼 and driving on the road is so much safer than all those other places. But yes there are still bad people in the world that will cause these other things to happen shame on them 😡 but I hope these people the live in these bad areas stay safe 😊 I totally agree with you!
Wasn't there a school shooting in Noblesville 5 or 6 years ago?
The fact Evansville is not on this list tells me you haven't been to Evansville.
It's a toilet now and gets worse everyday. All the crime of a bigger city with none of the fun or entertainment of one.
@@Cozmo-hp4uo You are so right. My 44 years here have been boring and high spirits killing. Just one big ghetto is what I see. In Newburgh they're just drunk and drugged up in their nice homes. Coming to E'ville for some drunk and druggie bar hopping.
Hey, I grew up in Connersville and lived there from mid 60s to 1978 (moved to Houston, which is its own kind of awful). Connersville was a nice place to be a kid in the 1970s and I really appreciate the shout out (in picture form) to my elementary school. haha Go Frazee Falcons!!! :)
Nice one , actually I’m really depressed right now, lost a coworker. very devastating , Needed someone to talk too.

Hello Lisa
Go Eastview!
I've lived in Central Indiana all my life (almost 65 yrs) Brownsburg, Muncie, Kokomo, Indianapolis and now 15 minutes south of Indianapolis. I'm an Indiana person known as a Hoosier. 😂 All the rest of the extended family except one aunt and uncle who lived in Terre Haute (how'd THAT not make the list?) lived in the South Chicago/Cook County, IL suburbs (Dolton, Riverdale, Thornton, Lansing, Sauk Village) and NW Indiana (Hammond, Highland, Munster, Griffith, Dyer). As a kid I never understood why we never moved up there because it seemed more exciting. But as an adult, even when they'd try to convince me to move up there, I wanted no part of a concrete jungle. My dad was a wise man. No offense to those who DO live up there, it just wasn't for me. I DO love the food and the different cultures up there though!
Went on the train ride from Connerville to Metamora. Thought Connersville was a nice little town but everything closed at 5.
It's actually nice here, guy has no idea what he's talking bout, fayeyte county has its problems like all counties. Mostly just displaced hillbillies, when ford aka visteon left it hurt.
I’m from Northwestern Fort Wayne just outside of Huntertown and I can’t say I didn’t expect Gary to be #1
is it safe there ?
@@JC-fd8ho hell yeah

I'm proud to be a South Bend native. I've lived in better towns but I came back because it's home. It has it's problems but It genuinely seems like South Bend is on the come back in my opinion. Living here gives you a certain grit that you just down find in people in other parts of the state. No matter how bad it gets I guess we can always say.. "But at least we aren't Gary... "
I agree with you. I used to live on the Northwest side. Now I live in the Granger and Elkhart area.
I agree live in the county of SB and love it!

Clarksville is a great town, extremely safe and everyone knows the people in their neighborhood
Good Afternoon Nick, you should drive through Paterson or Camden,New Jersey
Camden I just did oh wow!
I LOVE Camden and Philly go for a walk on Kensington.
Did you know Camden used to be a very modern technology hub during the early part of the 20th century? They built RCA Victor phonographs and RCA radios 📻 in Camden
I grew up in southern indiana and could see kentucky from my house. I dont really feel comfortable or myself around northern indiana and city people. I get along with them fine and they seem like good people. Just something about the hospitality in the south makes me feel at home.
Yes..I'm in Evansville and no problems
@@paulbrower4265 good way too see this !

@@paulbrower4265 so is Indianapolis more like KY in culture?
Being a native Hoosier, if Gary and Muncie aren’t on here this is automatic fake news 🤣
Street repair just gets handed down from one administration to another. Downtown looks pretty good, but that's what we want people to see. Can't wait to retire so I can move to Odon.
The entire state
Not true at all. There are very nice areas to live here.
@@kimberlycampbell8355 I understand but TBH that's how most outsiders look at the state
