This was a fun showcase to watch! I got my A13 a few days ago and already have Batocera on it, but I was wondering what button combination you used to pull up the Retroarch menu. I haven't found any guides or wiki pages that tell me.
@@jq8166 I eventually figured out that it's Back+B to get into the Retroarch menu. It may sound risky because the back button also takes you out of the game, but I have yet to accidentally back out.
Hi love the vid. I am hoping someone can help me though. I have installed batacero on my a12 and added rom however nothing displays properly right from boot up the screen us stretch and in game the screen is stretched so I do not see the full image tried every different res and aspect ratio and does not solve the problem please help
What exactly is so bad about the stock firmware on these? I thought they worked quite well compared to most Chinese devices. Only bad part is the Chinese games included.
Emulates far less systems? Bad integration of added roms? Not even the option to change the stupid english names they invented for most games? Only RetroArch settings for dummies? No frontend that deserves the name? Especially the a13 is a lovely and very underrated device, but the stock os hinders it to shine.
I hateee the stock firmware on my A13. Now this is a major upgrade! Woo hoo. Thanks for sharing bro.
please note that the beta 35 has several improvement for this board. mainly, a virtual memory (swap) is added, and more games systems are working.
and n64 working.
Thanks man! Will try that!

Wow I’ve held out on updating my firmware but I love Batocera. Yes please do a tutorial.
Please can you do a tutorial for installing Batocera on the A12/13. This would be greatly appreciated.👍 Great video

@@clausjahnel5379 It also breaks certain features like HDMI.
Is there a system like this for the powkiddy x2?
I honestly have no interest in this unless ALL functions are working seamlessly. I hear HDMI doesn't work with this, sadly.
