@@KyleHarmieson Is it possible to make actual music with this tool? Here I've always done the old school thing of using audacity and my own terrible samples. lol It would be refreshing to not be doing that any more, I think.
You'll need to make more of these, haha! Can't Believe “Command Palette” isn't on the list, an addon that lets you open any scene or resource using Ctrl+P and your keyboard. Can't live without it. Xphere's Zone is a good one for quickly editing collision areas by the corners. It's a super simple yet life changing one for 2D devs. Also, I'm working on a text editor that allows you to edit any text file inside Godot on the bottom panel (like Shaders). There's a lot of good little ones.
Ahah I can do more I guess :) Command palette seems amazing, it works like Visual Studio Code I guess? The collision edition looks cool. It has changed a bit with Godot 3.4 tho, and it's much better now! Oh that's nice. Don't hesitate to share it when you make it public! Thanks for sharing :)
I was told whatever idea I have planned for a game, it's not a good idea. But, this video has given me one hell of an idea, it's not entirely my own so it counts as a good idea.

Wow, several of those addons I did not know, this is too good, you are excellent at explaining, thank you for supporting that event, it's very likely that I will be encouraged to participate. You are one of my most favorite instructors, at some point I would like you to teach some game mechanics, for example how to make a mini map for a game, metroidvania genre
Nice to see Godot get 'extra help'. Some of these add-ons are pretty useful and something I was looking for. Was too cumbersome if you're not a full on programmer. So I'm not sure if these add-ons are enough to bring me back.
Thanks a lot! Godot works perfectly fine for mobile. Performances will vary based on the device, and that's the hard thing with mobile. There are tons of devices out there, from potato to desktop replacement. If you go with 2D you shouldn't have much problem to be honest. I suggest developing first and worrying about performance when you actually see problems occur. Early optimization is never a good idea imo.
Making it procedural at runtime is maybe a bit too hard, but its quite easy to do using Blender to create the fractured model. You can check this video for example: ruclips.net/video/mqlQ06hjtl8/видео.html
Hi, I'm trying to find a video to quickly introduce how to use the anima addon. I can't seem to find one ! Does anyone know one ? I've tried the doc but it's spotty at best, with dead links and so on...
@@MrEliptik Every time though... Hey, I'm still using Godot. But ima still joke around at the fact NO engine has a simple in built box tick for this considering its a feature used in alot of 2d and 3d games. You always have to treat the sticks differently from the mouse which, even in UE or Unity is just another minor annoyance in a world where they're making things easier in all kinds of areas but not giving the little things that would actually save time that can be used working on code or modelling something. I just find it funny is all. It'd be funnier if Godot does it first. GDscript is easy enough but it's the little things that tickle my jimmys
Yeah I understand what you mean. The thing for Godot is that their development team and time is limited. If you think it's a feature that should be in core, you can make a proposal on GitHub. Discuss it with the team and other contributors, it might be a good idea!
It warms my heart so much to see my Mixing Desk get covered in this list! Thank you for the shout out :)
It's because it's awesome!
Ever since I downloaded, I've never been able to program without it 😔🔥
It looks really sweet! I'll start using it in my projects. Good job!
You guys are too kind. Look forward to more updates coming soon :)

@@MrEliptik I just linked Command Palette, yes, it's quite similar to VSCode's.

I have a question, when I installed waterways in 3.3.4 there were a bunch of errors which don't let me use it.
Oh really? Because I used it with 3.4 rc2 and it worked fine. If you have specific errors, you can open an issue on GitHub.
@@MrEliptik No, the engine just doesn't let me enable the plugin.

Just saying... your videos are great! loving them...
Wooooo can't wait
Speedtree made for the Unreal engine?! 🤔 I don't think so I was an independent project until recently Unity bought it.
Yeah I made a mistake there. It goes released for Unreal before unity, but it seems it was a standalone app at the very beginning.
Big thank you! Very informative.
I'm actually testing Dialogic 1.X rn for my project

and sadly, still no way to tie right stick to mouse functions through input management. I hope 4 fixes this
You would like an out of the box solution? You can make it pretty easily though, move the cursor based on the stick input
