GOTTA be #1, by far looks the best to me, ive always liked animal crossing, but the one thing it was missing was more quests, and an easier town optimization, and this is JUST IT.
I'd say I enjoy #1 the most. I really like how it's about having fun and interacting with the town that you make! It's a rather unique goal for a game like this and I hope to see it do well. I also quite enjoy the art style of the game. It reminds me of something like the Nintendo Labo or Game Builder Garage type models. I'll definitely be buying on launch!
#1 Townbox has so much charm!!!!! Immensely looking forward to it's release. Man the other games look great too though, don't make me choose just one I wanna play them all!
I vote #4. Is pretty, and accessible. Has a sizeable story. As an indie dev, it's something I could muster if I had a team of content producers working with me.
The quality and fun within these Godot Games is getting better and better. A year ago, anyone of this weeks would have won! But there is a standout game here, it is #1 Townbox
Torn again! This time it's between #2 and #4: both have the hand-drawn aesthetic and the narrative focus that I love. I guess that's a good problem to have, Godot games are clearly picking up the pace
Caveat might be that the handdrawn look in 4 is completely ai generated. Whish he would have made at least some kind of effort to clean the images to some degree.
@@denisquarte7177 TBH I did'nt see it... and the Steam disclaimer states "Artificial intelligence (AI) was used for generating initial sketches of backgrounds in some game scenes. " So either the disclaimer is misleading, which whould warrant even heavier backlash, or you're overestimating how much AI there is.
@@Sithoid Well, if the Video wasn't showing just initial sketches of the game then this is a blatent lie by the dev. I didn't need to see the steam page for knowing about the AI involvement, which is not a problem on it's own. I use AI every day and spend a lot of time on fixing errors or work around them if possible. The smaller the details are in an image the more obvious the errors become, hell he didn't even bother to give his characters round pupils. This looks a lot like the SD1 Finetune "Comic Book" but could as well be the SDXL Finetune _Cheyenne_, both available on civitai. 4:18 This mans face couldn't be any more AI
Such a nice surprise to see Townbox featured, thanks so much! We can't wait to share more about the game as development progresses! 🙌✨
You should make a Game Dev Log in order to keep us updated
Wishlisted it on steam. Looks nice as a little creativity toy like tiny glade or townscaper.
the game is good but the colors are overwheming almost got me faint
Will you be releasing a demo? Would love to get a feel for the game!
I think all of them deserve to win this week as each them looks really nice in their own, however, as I can only cast one vote; then I pick number #1
I think #3 is best of all here. #1 is cool and cozy and remember RED APPLES, but #3 has very nice vibe
I like all of them but #1 just stood out to me. #1 is my choice.
GOTTA be #1, by far looks the best to me, ive always liked animal crossing, but the one thing it was missing was more quests, and an easier town optimization, and this is JUST IT.
#1 Townbox is 100% my favourite for this week.
#1 looks so much like a GameCube-era Nintendo game (the vibe, not necessarily the graphics)
This !!!!
Number 3
This week had so much more polished game entries than the last ones.

#1 very cute
#2 and #4 look very intriguing, but the final vote goes to #2 Ink Escape.
Number 4 is my favorite! I like the mysterious atmosphere.
I would vote for #4, but I cant as it uses AI generated Art
4:08 Wow, I didn’t expect to see John Constantine in this game…
