- I made a handful of single missions and instant actions that will come for free with the F-4E Phantom by @HeatblurSimulations - Included, but not limited to 2 missions built around the story of my Paradise Lost UH-1 Huey Campaign.

Great to see you working with Heatblur like this. The F4 is setting a whole new standard for DCS and it's not even out yet.
One of the less talked about things I love about Heatblur is that they always make sure there is content for their modules. Really excited to try these missions!

LOVE that we are seeing module producers partner with top content creators. This is how you do a launch! Take notes Polychop, ED, etc. Huge value add to the module to have these reflected & others missions bundled as part of the base module.
Having played Paradise Lost, i can't wait.

I had no idea the included missions were like this! I usually ignore that stuff as for various reasons, I can usually whip something up quickly myself in the ME that is better than what we get for free. Being out of date is the worst problem. But given what I've learned from this video, I can't wait to open up the attached missions! Especially the Paradise Lost ones as I've just restarted the campaign. That's perfect timing for me!

Fred, afaik the only official SA content out there is a mini Tomcat campaign and a Mossie single mission. Lmk if you know of more though! I had to uninstall because of space.
@@Fred-rv2tu An RAF 1435 flight scramble to intercept some Argentine Mirages or maritime patrol aircraft on that map would be cool!

Are there any missions that help you learn? Missions focused on using the radar or other complex systems instead of jumping right into the fight?
I find it hard to fly as a professional pilot when I'm just learning how to work the systems on most modules.
There will be some great training lesson missions but not done by me. I’ll release a series of YT tutorials.

Can't wait to give these missions a go! Will any of these be possible to play in multiplayer as a pilot/WSO crew or are they single player only?
Thanks for making these and honestly they all seem to be your best atleast for what I like to do in DCS... I know mig killers is your darling but you seem to have bite off more then you could crew thanks to DCS limitatiuons... Like why not just make the mission later when the F4e was alavble? Did it have to be the first few classes?

Have you seen dcs lately. It's a ghost town, literally no new maps have over 10 players. Nam map, lol . I bet these missions won't let you do coop and you're stuck single player only

No, only these 2 missions. I'll save my ideas for a proper Vietnam campaign if and when the map comes
@@ReflectedSimulations I hope you reconsider. I think the Vietnam map is probably far enough away to justify a Phantom Paradise Lost. I’m grateful for these missions though!
@@Fred-rv2tu problem is, if I make it, then Nam gets released, people will want me to redo the campaign for the ‘real’ map. And so will I. I don’t wanna work double ;)

When Marianas will be WWII era, will you re-work your Paradise Lost campaign and F-4 missions for it?
WWII Marianas is better for 60's.
Oh sure! I can’t move missions between maps so I have to redo 1-200 triggers and 5-600 units per mission…then find a new airbase because Andersen didn’t exist. Nor did the hospital. Or the harbor. Or almost any of the points of interest in the missions. So that means I have to change all voice overs too, briefings and kneeboard images. But at least I can use the same Huey skins ;)

Some missions for the IAF Phantom on the Syria and Sinai map please... put the F-4E in its historically most "engaging" theatre!
Dumb question, will there be tutorial missions to get use to the plane?
Yes of course, like with every module. but those weren't done by me, so I can't take credit for those.

on which map are the IRAF missions?
On Paradise Lost, voiceover volume is unbearably loud for me compared to other DCS sound... to the point where I can't comfortably fly the mission. Any ideas?
I used Heatblur’s template there. Tune down one of the volume sliders in the settings, can’t recall which
@@ReflectedSimulations Looks like helmet is the right slider. It makes all other helmet sounds quieter as well though, including Jester and radio. I wish DCS gave us an audio slider for just voice overs. Thanks for looking into it though.

Looks very fun. Thanks for the missions. I know you can’t give away any of your secrets but Yom Kippur War would make a great campaign. F-4s, F-5’s, MiG 19’s, MiG 21’s, MiG 23’s, and Su-17’s all over the place. You could almost make two campaigns with the same work. One perspective from Israeli side, one perspective from Egypt or Syria side using MIG 21 or MiG 19 and sell them separately. I would buy both. DCS has a lot of ground and air assets to support any campaign in the 1970’s.
