An excellent review. I think they're getting better and better. Thank you for the lovely commentary and comparison with other competing rackets in the same segment.
Spot on review. I have had two injuries playing tennis, one was with a pure strike 98 and secondly with the white out v1. I really liked the solinco however, it was causing too much pain on my wrist and sold it. I have been playing with a percept 320 without any pain.
I've heard from numerous sources that Solinco will apparently continue to provide BOTH the v1 and v2 for the foreseeable future. If true, that's great news, and a paradigm breaker.
Great review. Always appreciate that you review from the perspective of what you like; I find that an easier comparison to my own than some kind of 'unbiased' take.
Appreciate the comparisons to other rackets and where this one lands on the scale. The torsional stability in the v9 is indeed an issue I had, while I’m also wondering whether the GPro I’ve been maining is the right racket for me (though it feels so good). This v2 is definitely worth a test run, probably together with the T-fight 305S 😊, looking forward to that review.
16:30 27.5mm beam width might be a bit too much power 😉 Great review as always! Looking forward to the TFight 300 comparison, as they sound very similar.
Since the lighter version isn't foam-filled, is there any chance the 290-gram Whiteout V2 might at least partially solve the issue of the muted feel? I wonder if adding weight to a comparable spec as the 305, or beyond like the Pure Aero Rafa (which is the same weight in stock form) might give the best of both worlds from the V1 and V2. It hurts to hear that Solinco is following the same trend as everyone else with regards to muting the feel in their rackets. It's completely understandable, though, since that's what the market demands right now. I just wish that we had other crisp options outside of the Pro Staff 97. I might need to get one of those before that also goes the way of the Dodo bird.
I think that the way you describe the harshness/discomfort or feedback if you will, matches what I feel from my Regna 98. It feels super amazing as long as you hit the sweetspot. As soon as you’re off by a centimeter, then it’s no fun. Not sure if you tried this one out to be able to tell me if I’m alone in this impression
Yeah I've noticed the sweet spot drop off with my Regna as well. I'm not finding it as harsh as this V1 Solinco was, but its much more significant than any current Yonex
Would you recommend it to try to someone who is considering to switch from the percept 97 with extra weight at 3 and 9 and handle. Looking for a bit more power and forgiveness and ease of use but keeping the control and feel
Which recent 98 "control" frame do you think has the most "feel/feedback/least muted" feeling? I grew up playing with a an old PD Roddick 2012 with a very high level of racket vibration, which I actually highly prefer and find it harder and harder to find a somewhat similar feel with all companies making rackets generally muted for comfort. I've been demoing a lot of different rackets over the past few months and have been finding the right racket. I've somewhat narrowed my search down to the 2024 PS 98 16x19 and the Head GT98, but am seriously considering if it is worth demoing the Solinco Whiteout v1 and the new TFight 305. Your thoughts on which of the four rackets I've just mentioned provides the least muted feeling?
Problem is most racquets average players want so plush they can use bad form getting away with it and injure themselves using said bad form one so plush muted that nobody can tell if the ball is hit a bit off or in the sweet spot. This is leading to the amount of injuries we are seeing in arms, shoulders, and muscle overuse fatigue.
The camo paintjob is so sick. Also love the visuals for the comparisons between different rackets
thanks I'll try to do more of them in the future

These reviews keep getting better and better. Amazing production. The comeback of AC Tennis to RUclips has made racket reviewers great again!

Simon's tennis looks much better now, great progress man!

Can’t wait to demo this one. Great review. Thanks for starving Simon for his perspective too.
Simon is born to serve
Good review. So much more professional than Tennis Warehouse

Excellent review. Will they eventually release XTD, XTD+ and 18x20?
Awesome review! Thank you. 4.0 all court OHBH club player who leans on big serves and blasting returns: New EZ one 98 or v2 WO?
tbd I don't have much time logged on the EZONE, i haven't hit it since Nov

omg hahaha yes I mean 21.7mm
simon BOMBING one handers
one handers are for simps and fed fanbois
@@MarkSansait so you and i?
I would love to know more about the maneuverability, how does it compares to other raquets, specifically PA98.
Last time I played something with no dampening was a steam 100 pro stock. Wrecked my shoulder and took me a year to recover.

How would you compare it 2022 Ezone 98? Thanks!
Did you buy all of the rackets behind you? CRAZY collection 🔥
I've bought a lot of them, but many of them are gifts or old family racquets dating back to the early 2000's. Some of them are also Simon's or Ale's.

Agreeeed, I have a regna 100 and I’m going to switch to natural or multi because of the harshness of the frame + poly strings

Percept 100 with the same mods but extra tail weight seems like the most logical
Your ending thoughts on Zverev going to 22mm tour for more power... yeah makes me wonder about the gravity tour... or the Heysil 98 tour 16x19
the Heysil has less power than most racquets you can buy new today
the Heysil is pretty low powered and unforgiving
@TennCom well then! Nevermind lol!
I didn't see a racquet in the video? where was it and why were yall just swinging your hands around at the ball?
Is the inner diameter of the grommets smaller on this V2? It's surprisingly large on the V1 grommets, like "spin grommets" everywhere
grommets look the same to me. Not big like spin grommets but not especially tiny

TFIGHT is the most connected no doubt about it. Then the Gravity but I think you'll llike the TFIGHT more coming from the Rod
@@TennCom that's really helpful! Really appreciate it sir.
Compared to the new t fight 305?? Please 🙏🎾
tfight review coming by the end of the month!
@ tfight is better or not ?
I'm still wondering where you got those o-ring dampeners all the ones I find online are black, red, or white and no other colors.
The green ones are Solinco!
the green ones are Solinco!
availability in canada? just saw tenniszon sold v1 before.
I can bring them in on special order through our store if you are interested.
Which one has better maneuverability Blade V9 or Whiteout 16*19?
Blade
What company is 10jx from? Is that the Solinco Confidential 3.0?
Confidential 3.0 was a different thing. This one is a version of 4.0.
@ Cool! Looking forward to hearing more about. Thanks.
Do you like the v1 18*20 compare to the v2 16*19?
I prefer my v1

Anyone that review this racket is a complete 🤡
Arch tua
horrible paintjob
they should just update that white glossy paint
Just a Blade 98 copycat. Nothing special.
