To clarify - if you like stiff racquets and can handle stiff frames, this is an excellent feeling racquet, so don't let it deter you from trying it because of what I said about comfort. I am just heeding a warning to those who already have known problems, this one can potentially be a problem. yeah it is not out of the question, i have an ezone 100 that i use occasionally with a full bed of multi at 45 lbs but after a 10 year battle with golfers elbow i shy away from stiff racquets. My elbow is like a tuning fork and i can tell almost immediately if a racquet will cause problems since most demos are strung with poly. I have used a vcore 98 2023 with multi at 45lbs and have been fine for the past 6 months. Stiff racquets are tempting because of the increased accuracy but being healthy to play is paramount :). I like that the new ezone 98 has a low RA and i hope the trend with manufacturers keeps heading that way.
@@The4.0Guy Honestly would feel half decent with full multi, but i would destroy that in 10 minutes with how much spin and string movement that this is capable of - low tensions like , like 40 and lower on full poly reduced alot of any shock

How is the twistweight compared to the 2022? Hopefully its not a case of the pure aero 98 where they decreased the SW but made twistweight higher to compensate, but if its the same or less, this would be the perfect tennis racquet. A heavier twistweight would effectively cancel out the lowered swingweight during actual hitting, why the pure aero 98 despite being only 325SW is actually really tiring to swing after a while. That '22 version was the perfect racquet for me just minus the heavy SW, to consistently hit good on 338 SW for anything sub 5.0 USTA especially after a set or 2 becomes considerably harder. By making it more of a platform racquet where you can increase the SW to 330 would make this perfect.
@@Chigchigg Stability is lower , but the racquet is very fast, even if you bump up the SW at 12, it remains fast I dont have the briffidi TW adaptor, the old way of measuring is not supposed to be accurate, but how it plays feels like lower TW yep
@@ACTennis Damn then this very well would already be racquet of the year, especially if you get a even lighter than the current spec one for even more customization. Too bad Tecnifibre makes modification as hard as possible though despite themselves admitting its going to be more of a platform racquet. Last question really just have for you is how well does it modulate spin? I do feel like people concentrate on spin potential too much especially in reviews, where as spin access and modulation should be considered since youre not always going to be able to hit top spin rate on every shot.
Both are great, i'll keep testing other setups for more comfort and see if there's any issues - but my setup in this vid is usually a solid setup for me - but I know i can do a little better, so let''s see
have bee watching your review for years, great cotent! Thought this one would compare to strike 98 rather than the aero 98, is that bc Tfight has higher spin potential than strike?
@@frankfranky8624 Yep last one and this one have massive spin compared to Strike - Gen 3 strike could access some great spin but it doesn't swing so easily in the way you need to generate it, you need to be very strong But last ISO played way too heavy in comparison to Aero 98, so this one speed and manoevurability edges it must closer

Ok, than finaly can i ask which racquet beats ezone 98 in your opinion? Which one is better in terms of serving, hitting from baseline and playing voleys if that is not case with tf 305?

@@dbekia The balance would be wildy different i think for the ISO 2022 vs White out, White out is generally very fast, but using XTD version may or may not be a long term good thing , depends because you sound like you dont use XTD standard? so i probably wouldnt jump to it if you never played with one and you cant demo Whiteout 18x20 would be more safer option, just note that comfort is also a known issue with that, but the shape of the Whiteout is very fast - also Whiteout V2 about to come out is apparently worse feeling from what im told - more muted and less feel, probably to compensate for those comfort concerns
@ACTennis weird turn of luck... I got to hit with the 2022 Whiteout 305 XTD 18X20 last night 😂, a guy was using it at the court next to mine at my club and as soon as I noticed it I felt brave enough and asked him if i could try it out as it's such a rare stick. He had two in a matched pair and was gracious enough to let me play with his 2nd one for a good 2 hours. To cut a long story short you were right in your "guestimation" regarding the balance. The Whiteout is noticeably much more headlight. The odd thing is that they "perform" (not using the word "play" instead consciously) in an VERY similar way. - The Whiteout XTD 18X20 is satisfyingly stable in a confidence inducing manner both from the baseline whenever you need to absorb or redirect pace, and at the net. - Maneuverability is also EXTREMELY similar despite the fact the Whiteout is so much more headlight, I guess mainly due to the fact that the XTD is half an inch longer but quite a quicker frame through the air as soon as you get it moving. I must point out though that with the XTD I was able to utilise more wristy quick flicks on short balls performing effective approach shots and on chip-style returns during rallies in which I was caught late more effortlessly compared to the 2022 iso 305. Timing was never an issue either, I literally didn't feel jammed-up, not even once and not at the net either! Zero adjustment period for the half inch longer grip. - Access to top spin was equally VERY GOOD and truly surprising, doesn't feel like an 18x20 at all. - Driving the ball and directional accuracy was top notch as in my 2022 iso 305. - Slice was better on the XTD, slices were sitting much lower midflight and were skidding on my opponent's side, I could also catch a high bouncing ball on my single handed backhand much more effortlessly with the XTD and turn a defensive shot into a sneaky and unexpected attack. - Serves were better on the XTD. - The sensation the frame gave out and the provided "feel" on touch shots felt very similar to the 2022 iso 305. - Comfort and feel with and without dampener were both also almost indistinguishable (XTD strung at 48lbs with champagne 1.3 HEAD Lynx tour as the guy told me and my 2022 iso 305 with YTEX quadrotwist white 1.25 at 50lbs) - Power levels were also almost identical. I know these two frames read as they should play and perform VERY DIFFERENT in paper, but ODDLY they feel and perform very similar to eachother. If you can find the 2022 Whiteout 305 XTD 18x20 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you try it THOROUGHLY, it's a hidden gem in my opinion. I'm NTRP +4.5, 183cm and 83kg, athletic and play with a single handed backhand 😉 The XTD had 3gr of leadtape at the 12 o clock position as the owner told me and nothing else other than an overgrip and a dampener. My 2022 iso 305 has 5gr of lead tape at the 7inch point under the grip, a kimony expert thin leather grip (I don't like technifibre's grip shape either lol) instead of the stock one on an otherwise size 3 grip, an overgrip and a dampener.
So they took one of the unique and exciting racket on the market and made it played like dozens of other 98-inch rackets in the industry, destroying the entire identity of the series. Good job Tecnifibre!
@@ACTennis actually I've meant specs. Old 305s were special because of what they offer to the players. High sw - nearly hh balance - consistent as a truck were signature for 305s but with this generation it seems a like random stiff 98 inch racket
@@mustafa_sakalli Apart from the stiffness, it actually plays very well for what it is, i'd use it if it didn't come with the grip shape and didn't hurt lol

I can't advise you for that lol - i'm not sure your level, what style you play, what you like and don't like about the 2022 Tfight, and what you are looking for in a change - it would be bad to tell you something blindly
@ACTennis thank for the response, but I find 2022 TFight less power, although good control with decent spin . But tough to maneuver. How you think now?
The Regna i reviewed came out in 2019, 2nd generation not 3rd, so i wouldn't count that firstly, also the overall ratings just fall as they may, doesn't mean it's the best 'performance' racquet, it is very unique though
Looking to move away from the RF 01 Pro - that and holding a baby for the past few months has arm and elbow feeling tender. Do you think this 305 is a little easier on the arm compared to the RF01 Pro?
Wouldnt say i had any arm issues with the RF01 Pro even with Alupower, but it's got 15g static weight added in comparison , so any extra weight will help reduce that shock Stringing low if it's still controllable for you can be super comfortable on this frame though, and with 18x19 pattern, you can get away a bit more with lower tensions
@@ACTennis yeah i wonder if it is something about the way that some racquets are made that is making RA a less reliable indicator of the playable stiffness? As a guy with elbow problems i'd love it if you could indicate how given racquet plays with multi as that is my default to avoid issues now but i know there is cost and time involved.

@@brunis_m Havent tried the v2, v1 was fine for me with a good soft setup , but it was 16x19, could be different for 18x20
New V2 i hear is more muted and no feel, i assume to counter the complaints you said
Just bought the last model on sale just to try, only had one hit and it feels a bit strange with it feeling light on the take back then heavy on the drop..feels beautiful on contact though especially when you give it the beans
Last one was very good , great time to get it with the price - French brands dont play with the price premiums lol
@@Chigchigg Stability is lower , but the racquet is very fast, even if you bump up the SW at 12, it remains fast
I dont have the briffidi TW adaptor, the old way of measuring is not supposed to be accurate, but how it plays feels like lower TW yep
It's a shame the stiffness and comfort is compromised in 2024 :/ I'm seriously considering a 2022 ISO on sale though just to mess around with 😅
Both are great, i'll keep testing other setups for more comfort and see if there's any issues - but my setup in this vid is usually a solid setup for me - but I know i can do a little better, so let''s see
have bee watching your review for years, great cotent! Thought this one would compare to strike 98 rather than the aero 98, is that bc Tfight has higher spin potential than strike?
@@frankfranky8624 Yep last one and this one have massive spin compared to Strike - Gen 3 strike could access some great spin but it doesn't swing so easily in the way you need to generate it, you need to be very strong
But last ISO played way too heavy in comparison to Aero 98, so this one speed and manoevurability edges it must closer
@@ACTennis thx for the comment! looks like this one definitely worth a demo🎾
Does this compare directly with the Radical Pro? Both seem quite good for flatter hitters + serve, yet versatile.
@@plebcake Radical Pro is more like a Prestige , but where the Pretige is flexy and lots of ball pocketing, Radical Pro is more crisp and direct , but both are low power control frames
This one is more like an a Blade with big spin
I liked the iso 305 but the aero vs weighted up to 335 sw was better for my game maybe time to revisit?
@@lsfire3489 Wont be quite as fast on the vertical swing path, but still capable of swinging well through it
Hi mate, you ever tried the ultra pro?
@@TomSmith-il6pz I have the V3 16x19 review on my channel, the V4 will play the same, looks much nicer though
@@ACTennis 🙏 thanks, will watch now
Tfight or v9 blade which you prefer please and why ? You said v9 was more stable than tfight before right
@@Bambotb Tfight by far is better in many categories, more specifically spin, but yes Blade is more stable
But grip shape is bad for me, not a fan, could ruin your experience if your grip doesnt line up well - also comfort seems to be an issue with this one judging from my own experience and a few others ive spoke to
Would you take the t fight over the blade 100?
Totally different racquets for different players, i would suit the Tfight more
Yonex ezone 98 2022 or tf 305 iso 2022, which one you prefer better? I would say by the points you gave for each racquet that you prefer tf 305 :)
@@aqvarius27 Comfort is important and grip shape also - EZ98 beats that in both categories lol, if i had to play a match it might just be the EZ98
Ok, than finaly can i ask which racquet beats ezone 98 in your opinion? Which one is better in terms of serving, hitting from baseline and playing voleys if that is not case with tf 305?
TF305 or Gravity 98 ?
If i cannot get the grip shape customised, i would go with the GT98 personally , Tfight is going to be very good for alot of people, otherwise yep i would choose it too
@ACTennis 2022 TFight ISO 305 vs 2025 TFight 305 VS 2022 Solinco Whiteout 305 XTD 18X20; any insights from memory playing with all three?
Never tried the Whiteout 18x20 in standard or XL, just the 16x19
But the whole video is a comparison of the ISO 305 and new T-Fight lol
@@ACTennisthanks for your reply... I know lol, I am interested to know because many testimonials I've read including reviews suggest the Whiteout 305 XTD 18X20 should be comparable and I do have the 2022 tfight 305 and currently wondering which of the other two I mentioned might I prefer more (I can't playtest either)
@@dbekia The balance would be wildy different i think for the ISO 2022 vs White out, White out is generally very fast, but using XTD version may or may not be a long term good thing , depends because you sound like you dont use XTD standard? so i probably wouldnt jump to it if you never played with one and you cant demo
Whiteout 18x20 would be more safer option, just note that comfort is also a known issue with that, but the shape of the Whiteout is very fast - also Whiteout V2 about to come out is apparently worse feeling from what im told - more muted and less feel, probably to compensate for those comfort concerns
- Slice was better on the XTD, slices were sitting much lower midflight
and were skidding on my opponent's side, I could also catch a high bouncing ball on my single handed backhand much more effortlessly with the XTD and turn a defensive shot into a sneaky and unexpected attack.
- Serves were better on the XTD.
- The sensation the frame gave out and the provided "feel" on touch shots felt very similar to the 2022 iso 305.
- Comfort and feel with and without dampener were both also almost indistinguishable (XTD strung at 48lbs with champagne 1.3 HEAD Lynx tour as the guy told me and my 2022 iso 305 with YTEX quadrotwist white 1.25 at 50lbs)
- Power levels were also almost identical.
I'm NTRP +4.5, 183cm and 83kg, athletic and play with a single handed backhand 😉
The XTD had 3gr of leadtape at the 12 o clock position as the owner told
me and nothing else other than an overgrip and a dampener. My 2022 iso 305 has 5gr of lead tape at the 7inch point under the grip, a kimony expert thin leather grip (I don't like technifibre's grip shape either lol) instead of the stock one on an otherwise size 3 grip, an overgrip and a dampener.
Which Racket do you prefer on Clay??
I don't have a specific one for clay, i'd just use my Gravity Pro for matches - but maybe Aero 98 would be a good consideration
you prefer a 98 sq Racket instead of 100? Iam a 4,5 + player I play most from the baseline
its same stifness for arm as the previous t fight or worst?
The stiffness rating seems to be lower, but it is way more harsh on the arm
So they took one of the unique and exciting racket on the market and made it played like dozens of other 98-inch rackets in the industry, destroying the entire identity of the series. Good job Tecnifibre!
Technically all their racquets have looked the same every generation lol
@@ACTennis actually I've meant specs. Old 305s were special because of what they offer to the players. High sw - nearly hh balance - consistent as a truck were signature for 305s but with this generation it seems a like random stiff 98 inch racket
@@mustafa_sakalli Apart from the stiffness, it actually plays very well for what it is, i'd use it if it didn't come with the grip shape and didn't hurt lol
Could you compare this in any way with ProStaff 97 v14?
Very different racquets - Pro staff is a low powered pure control racquet for precision and consistency , Tfight is almost Blade like with power and control but with addition of big spin
New TF305 or new Ezone 98?
If i continue to have concerns for comfort personally, i have to go with EZ98 - but playability wise TF is preettty nice
Only one question I use 2022 TFight, is it good to change?
I can't advise you for that lol - i'm not sure your level, what style you play, what you like and don't like about the 2022 Tfight, and what you are looking for in a change - it would be bad to tell you something blindly
@ACTennis thank for the response, but I find 2022 TFight less power, although good control with decent spin . But tough to maneuver.
How you think now?
@ACTennis do you think TFight 2025 is easy to use now?
The current Regna was released in 2022. So at 89...........
Wouldnt say i had any arm issues with the RF01 Pro even with Alupower, but it's got 15g static weight added in comparison , so any extra weight will help reduce that shock
Stringing low if it's still controllable for you can be super comfortable on this frame though, and with 18x19 pattern, you can get away a bit more with lower tensions
It’s almost perfect, except for its retail price of $400.
@@chenli8423 Lol to be fair, Ezones are like 430 AUD now
what about tf305 vs Radical MP 😋
If you mean the Aux 1.0 Radical MP, definitely the Tfight - new one comes out soon in March, we'll see how that goes
Sounds too stiff for my arm, pass. Great review though, very thorough and legit.
I'm surprised with the RA readings on TW, not sure if they are already the proper measurements, but definitely doesn't feel like 63 RA
@@ACTennis yeah i wonder if it is something about the way that some racquets are made that is making RA a less reliable indicator of the playable stiffness? I read that a racquet with a flexible throat can give a low RA reading but if the hoop itself is stiff i may still play stiff? This is why your reviews are critical! As a guy with elbow problems i'd love it if you could indicate how given racquet plays with multi as that is my default to avoid issues now but i know there is cost and time involved.
