I am 58 years old and am new to this kind of media and a slow learner to boot but I had to take the time to comment. I grew up watching your dad race and was a big fan of his during the early years because he was an up-and-coming driver an underdog so to speak . As he began winning more I actually despised him. As I saw his character grow as a human being and I believe as a man of faith I became a great admirer. Though I watched from afar I believe I saw a character in him that I don't think everyone recognized. I am sorry that you and your family lost him. I'm sorry that the world lost him. I can't imagine the grief, sorrow and burden you all must have had to bear. Dale junior, I want you to know that I am a fan of yours, not because of what you've done on the track, or because of who your dad was, but what you have done as a human being. You have always strived to be yourself despite the pressures to the contrary. You have taken the high road in every situation which makes you a very incredible human being in my book I've met a lot of racing personalities in my day but I would cherish one day to just hangout and talk racing with you. I have a racing postcard collection that fills 16 large 3-ring binders. Talking racing while looking over the pages would be a blast. There I said it. I wish you and your family all the best in your future endeavors

What Jr and Kelly have built, the contributions they make and the passion they have for the sport may be his biggest accomplishment. Your dad would be so proud to see you guys help preserve the sport he loved so much. So honored to have worked for him at DEI and getting to know him. I meant to comment in the first video to just say thank you to the Earnhardt family for allowing us fans and complete strangers to experience the inside, personal moments in what was Dale Sr's beginning to becoming the greatest driver in NASCAR history (in my opinion and many others as well.) To Dale Jr you have become the continuation of what your dad meant to everyone and so much more than any of us could've ever expected from you to carry on the name we all grew to love back then. I'm 42 and there's a lot of your dad's life I missed out on but my dad would always tell me about the years of watching your dad race and how he was just like any of us ALL of the time. A real man sharing his Sundays with all of us . For you to carry on what everybody lost including you and your family that day in February for you to continue to keep everyone that was a real fan of your dad interested in an ever-evolving sport as you were coming into was a feat that nobody has ever had to endure and you did it better than anybody could have done thank you for all of that thank you for being there for all of us and thank you for everything you do now I love watching your podcast I love watching you broadcast I love everything that you put out there for us to experience everything personal that you share with us. You do such an amazing job including everyone else in your personal life and your personal experiences and the jokes and the emotional side of things that you share with us You're just unbelievable there's too many good things to say about you and I'm sure you know and everyone else in your family probably does too your dad would be so so proud of everything that you've done he would be speechless at the man you've become thank you for being there for all of us and thank you to your family for allowing us to be a part of the moments in y'all's lives I miss ya racing that's for sure And I'm sure everybody else does too. Thank both of you for doing this. I'm sure you've had 10,000 people tell you that even as only a fan, I felt like family. To hear you two talk about all this it's like hearing "family" chat. Again, thanks. It really rocked my world when it was announced that we had lost him. Never met him. Have a great picture of you and your dad with his arm around you.

Love that, Kelly sat down with Jr. for this. It is neat to see both of your reactions and opinions to the newspaper articles.
