It's funny watching Alpine. He's not a good twitch reflex player at all, he often loses in those fights and shows us his death. He excels at situational awareness, keen eyesight and excellent marksmanship. Those are the skills that makes him so much fun to watch. Dude's a machine without needing to run around like a headless chook. HLL is a different beast and I freaking love it.

All three of these games were back to back, feels like games end in steam rolls a lot more often lately which is unfortunate.
It makes such a different if you play against organized teams or a bunch of Sunday players that don’t communicate. (Says the Sunday player who actually tries to communicate)
I myself hate it when a match is an outright steam roller but, most of those come down to either player imbalance or what we've all experienced time in and time out and that is just an inexperienced commander...IMO, if the devs would set a higher experience level minimum for the commander role it would help a bit but, there's always gonna be noobs trying that role so, I guess what they should do is add in some solid commander tutorial videos that would work in conjunction with some sort of commander's role practice server that's complete with NPC targets and stuff..."I know, we HLL players don't ask for much do we" ;)
Steam rolling happens constantly on console. Just guessing, I'd say that 6 or 7 out of 10 games on console is a steamroll. Plus you rarely see squad leads above level 30ish.
The game is slowly shifting towards a call of duty aspect in my opinion. Not playing the game for what it is meaning, WW2 historical simulator. People always find a way to make a slow pace game fast and ruin it for us history nerds.
I was saying this the other day that maybe 80% of the games I'd played on console in the last week have been steamrolls (one way or the other). Communication has dropped drastically, too. Entry-level squad leads who don't have a mic or know how to drop OPs/Garrisons are on the increase. Sound like a right moanin' Myrtle don't I? I will add though that it doesn't help when a level 200-odd screams obscenities at the lower levels: it doesn't teach them anything and will potentially put them off.

El Alamein really showcases the need for an MG42 rework.
It’s kind of a weird place for mgs. On one hand they have a lot of issues preventing them from being usable in a lot of situations on most maps, on the other hand there are a few maps they dominate
@@AlpineSniper The MG42 either needs a barrel change mechanic added or a reduced belt in the drum.
The Browning probably just needs the reduced ammo per belt as well.

this gun is a fucking laser beam... no drop whatsoever and the tiniest click can end a fucker at render distance. to answer the question, yes it IS a sniper rifle. it is THE sniper rifle and you dont even have to switch fire modes to turn it into a bullet-hose...
