Did my best to make sure the volume was loud enough. Sounds fine on my s23 ultra with airpods, but id be careful watching at full volume so take it down a notch or two. Prototype darts work differently than other fletching methods. Instead of giving a flat XP per dart it has scaling XP. The formula is, your fletching level x 12.5 xp. So at 70, I get 70 x 12.5 = 875 xp.
Thats awesome. It is one of the reasons I started posting RSC content to begin with because not many people know the game is still out there. A bit rough around the edges but its the gower brothers first game but its a lot of fun.
After watching this myself, I felt like it wasnt that good of a video so I will probably come back to redo it at some point. I was pretty tired when making this and I definitely misspoke a few times especially at the end, I mean how can you ask questions in the description? lol. Anyways This gives you the general gist of what it takes to make the prototype darts as well as my method of doing it. I cutout the part where I went over my own prototype dart xp calc that I built in excel as the fletching calc does work, after I updated the materials cost inside the Fletching module, so you wont need to build your own like I did (although it was relatively easy to do). When I said open bag slots I meant you want those slots filled. I did go over why later on but I really should have double checked what I said beforehand. I also did this off the cuff and didnt use a script like I did with my new player guide so most of it is just a stream of consciousness from my adhd brain. Anyway, I think the video does a decent job of showing how to make them and even another option for grinding them faster, but at much greater risk.
Who are you talking to? You posted this 54 minutes ago, then you've responded to your own video 40 mins later saying you dont like the video when you could just delete and reupload a new one? Which I don't advise because this is a niche old game that even the few veterans that actually know about classic probably dont even know this playable website even exists.
@@MrGoodwinson its for anyone that will ask, "why did he say open bag slots and not filled bag slots?" because I was a little tired when making the video and it was off the cuff. Yes it is a niche game, but I enjoy making videos for it and if I feel like the video isnt as good as it could be I will make it better until im satisfied with it. Its good for now, so people that are confused about how it works can figure it out. Also if people really want to see what goes into it, like doing tourist trap they can just watch my 10 hour stream I did where I went through the quest for it.
That is one way to do it yes. Some people do it that way some dont. I would say on mobile it would probably be easier to make them there at the tent. If you swap the cape i had in slot for the feathers, you could make them and drop them and still have 4 filled bag slots for the tips. Honestly there isnt really a reason to bank the darts outside of high alching them.
@@Canuck.Collector I tried the mobile version and I didnt hate it but I definitely need to play it on a pc. I imagine for doing combat stuff it isnt bad. It does help my phone has a stylus so that makes some things easier. Just glad people are finding out about the game and getting more players on the server has been great.

Perfectly brilliant, we can’t wait for your next video poeskey 😊
This channel got me to start playing OpenRSC, its so nice to see such an old antiquated game still being appreciated today

Awesome guide, you explained everything really well! Thanks for making it.

Never knew the xp scaled like that, that's some fat training.
It is crazy that from 25-70 or even 10-70 is only 1k Darts. Tourist trap will definitely be the last quest i finish before legends.
