Great video topic. Fragrance "personalities" should be discussed more. I'm definitely guilty of having blind-bought fragrances which were left collecting dust on my shelf because they didn't mesh with my personality. As the saying goes: "Wear your fragrances - don't let fragrances wear you."
If reviewers say that a fragrance would fit your personality and you blind buy them you will have exactly the same results. Fragrances just are highly subjective.
I feel you should have made a niche and designer choice for every personality. Plus Iso E Super can just be bought without spending so much just for a name, get some no-name Iso E Super from anywhere just cost about 20-30 bucks.
As someone who loves fragrance there are always fragrance recommendations and videos that don’t appeal to me. I’m introverted but there is the flip side of that coin that is completely extroverted when in the right mood. Music brings that side out of me a lot. I don’t usually like understated fragrances or fragrances that are too light. I love Noir de Noir, Rose Prick, Blackpepper, Gucci Envy, Noir Extreme, Lost Cherry and usually things that lean towards sweet, evening, winter appropriate scents. I’m trying to find something for Spring Summer that appeals to me. I think YSL L’Homme Ultime will work. Recently got Narcisco Rodriguez For Him and Bleu Noir EDT. I’m experimenting with those for daytime easy reaches.
my friends in school that i still have contact with told me once that they thought i hate people because I never talked much and only in short and direct sentences. Mostly I am really moody and dont want to talk to anyone and my appearance gives off this look too, but when I‘m in the right mood i can talk so much that it can be annoying😂 My signature scent Is YSL La Nuit del Homme, its sweet and mysterious in the same way some ppl. say its more for the colder days but since its not that strong in longevity and turns into a skin scent i wear it on every occasion.
Great work Team..what an awesome collection of scents based on personality types...I have used perfumes from an early age..all different brands..but some of the choices like Aqua di gio, Hermes, Tom Ford are truly unique & masculine..specially in an era where lots of DNA's smell similar..anyone who appreciates distinct scents will agree with your selections ❤
I think you should do a video picking fragances for characters and stereotypes like Batman (misterious, dark, powerfull) haha or Tom Hardy or, for example, gangster, Jack Nicholson type etc.. I would also consider good if the group were asked to say who they picture wearing the fragance they are smelling
Would love to see you utilize your knowledge of watches and fragrance and do a pairing for the two categories. I just bought a watch from your website by the way. Love the content.
Courtney, i must confess, i have been watching your videos and i must say you are the most gorgeous, classy and one ofvthe kost elegant women i have ever e- experienced experienced.
The founder and owner of Gallivant is a very nice guy. I believe it’s a family business that he runs with his mom. I bought a full sample set that contains all the house fragrances except the one they released just recently. Unfortunately non of the fragrances worked for me. My wife finds them unbearable. I couldn’t get my self to even finish the 2ml samples I got. Except for Los Angles which is OK but not great. Of course I don’t mean to bash the house. It didn’t work for me, but I’m sure a lot out there love it.
Hey Teddy, hey Courtney, how do you feel about things like Hawthorne which uses a personality quiz and personal preferences to craft a fragrance box set? I don't know about their quality or performance, but it seems like a clever business model. Thoughts?
A lot of sample subscription based modeling services use the quiz type thing you mentioned, if you are starting on your fragrance journey, best to go to the mall and smell in person. There js no worse feeling than buying a perfume based on RUclips suggestion/quiz and not liking it. Once you know what type of perfumes you like/ notes then you can blind buy imo
@@vishuvnair oh yeah, I don't blind buy. Unless it's like super niche, then there might be no choice but to buy online--but even then, I'll only go for a sample
A hipster is someone who likes going against the grain, especially being the first to know about underground artists, discovering hidden hole-in-the-walls, or being the one to introduce fringe trends to their social circle - but who will quickly drop that trend once it goes "lamestream" (mainstream). They have NLOG energy (not like other girls/guys) and like to think of themselves as ahead of the times. They're the ones who want credit for everything and who want to be seen as unconventional or insightful. They want to feel unique or "extraordinary" so they're more likely to look down on "normies" or anything that has mass appeal. I think a lot of them mean well and genuinely like the scavenger hunt of discovering bizarre & uncommon things, but there's also another good chunk that are self-absorbed hyper-individualistic snobs. FYI they're different from people who are actually eccentric, weird, or unusual.
Nah, "Exotic" is a better personality trait for Oud scents. By exotic, I mean a cultured traveler who likes to experience world cuisine, world music, and foreign film & documentaries. They're a linguist who loves learning new languages and dabbling in discovering other-worldly customs & traditions.
When a fragrance just kinda "fits you", it elevates your confidence

We can do more in the future. Wanted to test out this style of video first. Thanks for watching!
First off love your RUclips name “actuallygod”😂😂
Second- I thought iso E super was a compliment to strengthen the power of your other cologne?
First video of the day is Courtney and Teddy on signature fragrances... yes! Always loving the content you two!
Thank you, Richard! We appreciate you for watching!
please let us know your thoughts on Aaron Terence Hughes fragrances!

Molecule 01 is my most complimented fragrance by far. Can't tell you how many strangers walking by me at a grocery store say something.

As an introverted, professional creative hipster...I'm scared how the layering of the four is going to work out ;)
Just buy a gas mask and a body cam, go all out and record your findings. :P
Bro just go for one lol
There's always something about Courtney that reminds me of MONA LISA! ...
😊😊😊
I didn't know you also had a fragrance channel! I love your calm, mature and quality-editing style of reviewing, either in horology or fragrance.
That Terre de Hermès is in my rotation during the summer months. Might wear it to the office more.
My dad has this :)
I really love the smell, but because my dad has been using this since for ever, I can't smell it on my Partner....

Does Blood Oranges smell close to Atelier's Orange Sanguine? That one smells exactly like orange juice.
For morning person, i would pick Petit Matin by MFK :))
Haha that’s literally what it’s for (but i agree lol)
@@cuthip i know xp, i speak French, but wow they nailed the name with the feeling
Since I think you are into woodsy fragrances, you could make a video about your favourites or the top in the market...just an idea
i literally looked this up like a week ago. LOVE this idea

Good picks although I would have chosen allure homme sport extreme for the jock
Will you make another video with more introvert and morning recommendations? Thank you for this video.
Very nice review guys 💪🏾👌🏾👏🏾🎯💯
I need y’all to review Dior Homme 2020!!! Y’all are the best!
Woots I'm early! You guys never miss :)
What you select for a doctor (I’m family physician)??
Hi Teddy, hi Courtney. I’m in Akron, OH 😎 What’s the name of boutique in CLE that specializes in niche perfumes, please? Thanks!
I enjoy your channel. You guys seem really nice. I was considering purchasing Roja elysium. Could you do a review on that ?
How many fragrances one person should own to be sure he/she is not missing on but also not to much to be able to make actual choice.
Interesting picks - great video!
216 stannnnnnnnnnd up !!
Don't forget 440, we're out here too!

'Give a sense' (sic).
Prada luna rossa for a jock
Gosh I love this channel
I've always thought terre d'hermes was the perfect hipster fragrance.
i'm hella early again, but cool video, love the concept!
Can you define hipster a little more? What would you recommend for a Zaddy like me?

Your last sentence really hit the nail on the head
i really like versace eros bottle
Please make more videos of womens' perfume
Thank you 🙏🏻
Smelled 4 from the aqua di Parma line and I can see why people like it but it’s just not more me. Smells good but too much like hand sanitizer to me.
For a doctor ?
In b4 flame
Do part 2 with personality for a funny guy in the group
You don’t pronounce arancia di capri like that😂
I'd add intimidating 😂😂
Me sitting here wearing Tobacco Vanille.
Hermes Parfum🔥🔥🔥
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
When your watch and perfume guy is Teddy. RIP wallet.
Courtney is so foine 😍
fantastic Video 🤤😎😎😎☝🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🏆🏆🏆🏆👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Dramatic should have been something animalistic in the very least. Oud wood intense would have been perfect
