I spent 18 years here, in Oakland, hearing a great organist at my church play the finest literature,, with immaculate musicianship. He was a treasured student of the legendary organist Richard Purvis. Three years ago, my friend passed on, and there has been a big hole in all our hearts, and a great void in the congregation he served for 40 years. Now, the organ is still. Thank you for your home concert on the Allen organ. Both the festive setting and the carols were quite enjoyable. The selections would make a nice prelude for a Christmas Eve church service!

Your organ sounds REALLY nice! I LOVE the tremulants,...they sounded wonderful,...WAY better than that thick sounding tremolo of a Leslie speaker! I haven't found an organ yet,...but I'm hoping to find something like an ADC-2140.2160,or 3160 with external cabinets. I could also make do with an 1140 with built-in speakers!

Hi Michael Man you sound really Great on your Allen Pipe Organ, I used to play Organ a long time ago at a Small Catholic Church but I had to give it up because it was way out of my jurisdiction, Do you play organ at Church? @@michaellinke1283 Hi Michael, We had relatives in Wilmington. I remember going there when I was little. Lake George also, although only twice there. I was born in Manhattan. Your place looks so cozy. When people come over our house they see the Conn 650 and say, "you don't look like people that would have a large organ in your house". What does that mean?. I guess it's not so cool anymore like it once was when my grandparents had one. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas/Hanukkah, whatever, and a wonderful New Year Ahead.
I so enjoyed your beautiful music. May I ask what solo reeds you were using? I have a C12C with Allen Ensemble. There are two presence projector speakers and internals. Unfortunately, there is not enough space for larger external speakers.
Sorry for the late reply just looking at these videos again. The organ has internal speakers (turned down) and 4 HC-15 external speakers plus a bass channel with a B20 subwoofer.

Organ technology has come a long way since the homogenized sound of that instrument. You play well thanks.

Sorry for the delay, just looking at these videos again. The red is the Bugle from the Midi Division II. It's a very nice solo Reed not that harsh.
That's why it's called practice,...there will be wrong notes!

It is a protege with Renissance tone generation from 2001

Of course! That is the way I was taught. Shoes deaden the sensitivity of your feet and make it more difficult to find the correct pedal.

It's an AP-15 it has a nice specification. And it's on 3 channels with 5 cabinets.

I live in an apt...so cabinets would have to be down the line...my neighbors would not like the noise.
