I absolutely love the positive way you approach all aspects of your travels, including when there are bumps along the way. We had the privilege of seeing Stonehenge when we last travelled to England pre-covid. I also love they way you two are so respectful when talking and interacting with each other, it makes watching your videos a pleasure.
They're also so respectful and kind of anyone they encounter. I always notice that about their vids! I remember one encounter at a restaurant where they were SO much more tolerant and patient than I'd have been able to manage! Gives me some perspective to chill out sometimes lol But I so appreciate watching their travels and how open and curious they are to the world, along with being respectful of other cultures and people. I think they're both just genuinely awesome human beings :)
There are many you tubers out there...but you are the most informative...you get out there and show sooooo much..alit of these guys are not informative about the areas they visit..and you educate us in many ways Don't stop your styles...these other guys could learn from you..God bless and Safe Travels
Great video! Stonehenge was amazing and beautiful. I can never get over how they accomplished this so long ago. Already watched Day 2 video and enjoyed every minute. Looking forward to Day 3! 👍🙂💚
We took International Friends back from the ship to our hotel at Heathrow, stopping at Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Great way to end our cruise vacation.
Wow this is a first that I am the first to comment. Love your videos. Look forward to them. Check every morning. Thank you for sharing your adventures! I love cruising!
Thanks guys Stonehedge was always something a little spooky when I was growing up now that you've been there and we seen it it's just a timepiece the first Timex watch😂😂😂
"Ireland needed the passports!" 😅😅 Yes, we want to claim you guys for our own. ❤ I'm excited to see your vlog for your port stop at Dublin. I was on the beach that day, thrilled to see Regal out to sea and delighted to hear that you, Tony and Don came to visit. I would have LOVED to have bumped into you on the street.
We did this cruise earlier this year, really enjoyed it but what made it ever so enjoyable was that we had very good weather, totally unexpected. We were surprised that 80% of the passengers were from the U.S. and the menus were American biased, made a nice change that we enjoyed.
5:59 The heel stone works like the sight assembly of a rifle. If you stand behind the circle and line up the heel stone directly through the center through the columns of the henge that is where the sun will rise during the summer solstice. directly behind the heel stone.
So much more to see at stone Henge since I went as a kid. Brown sauce is same as HP branded…..it’s for sausages and cooked English breakfast. Will look into international friends…hadn’t heard of them.
Funny, you used to be able to get right up to the stones, I guess. International Friends was a great option, and we love that they literally came around to everyone’s hotels to collect us!! :D
In England there are many places where you can walk right through peoples’ lands on various trails and landowners put up access gates. That’s probably why there were trails that really didn’t lead anywhere. I’m not sure why that is a thing, I just know it is.
It always kind of gives me a giggle to see people's reactions to Stonehenge. It's either total let down (it was just a pile of rocks!) or fascination (OMG, it was SO COOL!) and there doesn't seem to be an in between. Brown sauce is really similar to HP sauce, which in turn is fairly similar to A1 steak sauce. That's a pretty common condiment in England, right up there with ketchup. Speaking of ketchup, kind of pay attention to any you get. It's MUCH better than American, for the same reason Coke is better in Mexico. Sugar instead of corn syrup. The taste was noticeable enough that I googled it because I thought I was just being silly. Nope! You can get it in the States too though, as Heinz Simply or Hunts Natural. Sigh..wish we weren't so dependent on Corn $$$yrup in this country. But there you go, way more than you wanted/needed to know about sauce!
Omg I love you guys. I'm going on the Royal Princess in October. First time cruising Princess. Cruising to North Queensland from Sydney. You guys really need to cruise out of Sydney. So beautiful.
I like when you do live postings. I understand that you need to do editing and production, but they’re old by the time they’re published. Always catching up with where you’ve been, not where you are currently. Just a suggestion to grow your channel. Love you both!
There’s no possible way to keep up with live postings while still living in the moment and creating content, sadly. We do the best that we can do while still leaving time to actually enjoy ourselves and have fun with what we’re doing. I guess the only alternative would be to completely stop telling folks where we’re going and what we’re doing in the moment, so there’s no anticipation and waiting… just always surprises!! :P ~Jay
We were excited to hear about the transfer through International Friends from London to Stonehenge and then drop off at their cruise terminal. We are cruising in September on Regal too. My question, if you have a moment to reply is at any time did you have a concern about being late to the cruise ship?
Awesome! Yes, we loved being able to stop by Stonehenge on the way down to the ship. They design their tours around the ship schedules and we didn’t have any worries about making it to the ship!! :D
I did a "live" of a Premium balcony one the Legend for a Premium balcony (6277) I may have done a "Jay" moment with a cabin tour starting at the door. I sadly forgot to include the light info if you needed the card for a slot in the tour. I'll have to work on that.
Just love your videos especially on Princess look for them everyday. Did you fly back home or cruise? I live in Wilmington NC what is the best way to fly to Great Britian (if I'm not mistaken you don't live to far.)
Thankee! We flew to New York after this cruise to join the inaugural sailing of Carnival Venezia. We booked our flights through the cruise line’s air program which saved some bucks, but we usually use Google Flights to compare prices before buying flights directly from the airlines.
Booked International Friends for a tour for a future European land trip after you mentioned them in your socials. Was the audio tour through International Friends or the Stonehenge website?
Hi Guys! We will be embarking on that ship and that cruise on June 20! So excited. Do you recommend booking a reservation for dining that first evening in one of the classic dining rooms? There is a 5:20 and 7:40 available. Is 5:20 doable on the first day? Thanks in advance!
Yes, we always try to remember to make reservations for dining, otherwise you fall into the non-reservation line until they can find a spot for you. A 5:20pm slot might make you miss some of the sailaway party, depending on the timing, but that might be okay!! :P
Princess cabins always feel so huge, hah! We enjoyed our budget option for London, though living out of our giant heavy suitcases was a bit of a pain!! :P
How long did it take you to travel from London to Southampton? Curious because we were under the impression it was only 1 hour but Princess website said around 2 hour travel. Thanks
We showed the hotel a bit in the London land vlogs, but we were right on The Strand in Covent Garden, and they picked us up right outside our hotel!! :D
OMG. I want to do Stonehenge maybe after the Carnival cruise I have planned for next year but If I can get it in before the cruise that would be great. Can you give me the website for that transfer/ Stonehenge tour please.
Awesome! We didn't have need for swimsuits, no. Maybe if you plan to use any pools or hot tubs on the ship, but these ports weren't really any sort of swimming ports. Definitely a rain coat, definitely layers since you never know when it might be sunny and warm versus cloudy and chilly. We sort of treated our packing like a summertime Alaska cruise, ha ha... :P

Stonehenge, how exciting! Love the Regal, she’s a beautiful ship!!! Thanks for taking us along with you guys!

Brown sauce is HP Sauce in North America. Great on meat pies. A bit of a twang not unlike catsup but it doesn’t taste tomato-ie.
Ahaaa, nice! We haven’t ended up trying it yet. Sounds like something we’d enjoy!! :D
Thanks so much for the details of your transfer (and everything else). I am doing that cruise next year and was weighing different transfer options.

Brown suace goes great on a cooked breakfast in my opinion
